Romans 12:2 says, "Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit".
"For if you embrace the truth, it will release true freedom into your lives.” John 8:32
What is TRUTH? We can go back to the beginning, back to the basics. There are answers, there are absolutes, there is an original Devine Order (Health and Wealth for example) to live a blessed and prosperous life, personally and in every mountain of society: Family, Religion, Education, Media, Arts and Entertainment, Business, and Government. So weather we find Words of TRUTH in the scriptures, a NOW Rhema Word from our Creator, or receive strategies to apply these revelations to everyday modern life, we are to sell everything to gain it.
Then my father taught me, saying,
“Never forget my words.
If you do everything that I teach you, you will reign in life.”
So make wisdom your quest—
search for the revelation of life’s meaning.
Don’t let what I say go in one ear and out the other.
Stick with wisdom and she will stick to you,
protecting you throughout your days.
She will rescue all those who passionately listen to her voice.
Wisdom is the most valuable commodity—so buy it!
Revelation-knowledge is what you need—so invest in it!
Wisdom will exalt you when you exalt her truth.
She will lead you to honor and favor
when you live your life by her insights.
You will be adorned with beauty and grace,
and wisdom’s glory will wrap itself around you,
making you victorious in the race."

Hey, welcome to Truth Slicker. Today we are exploring even deeper into this topic of olive oil and how we've been gypped by getting really not good products shipped across to us. So there is a way to get the real stuff, the good stuff, the medicinal olive oil that can be used. Yes, it can be used for salad dressing. You do not want to cook with it. It is too precious. And you, it's not intended for high heat. It's for dipping your bread into cold salad, sourdough. Um and just we're gonna learn today taking it medicinally as a tablespoon. So this man who's so brave, he does health experiments on himself, and then tells us how it turns out, if it was a good experiment or not, and if there's a benefit, and this one was really cool because this man came in touch with some really good olive oil with the high polyphenols, and he says, Watch out, it's got a little peppery bite to it, and that's how you know it's the good stuff. So we're gonna listen to his story and what happened during these 10 days while he took this. Um, I give him credit. Keto Camp on YouTube is is where I found him, and um, here we go. Let's hear what he has to say.
SPEAKER_00I drank 30 tablespoons of olive oil in 10 days, and by day three, something happened that should have been impossible. My cravings shut off, my waist dropped. And I realized most people are using olive oil completely wrong. And if you're doing it the way that I used to, you're not getting any of the benefits. I'm gonna walk you through every day the good, the bad, the part where I almost ruined the whole experiment by making one really stupid mistake. And after watching this or listening to this, trust me, you're gonna want to try this. Okay, so here's the thing about olive oil that most people get wrong. When you say olive oil to the average person, they think, oh yeah, salad dressing, maybe pasta, something you cook with, a condiment. But that's not what olive oil actually is. Real, high polyphenol, extra virgin olive oil is closer to a medicine than a cooking oil or cooking fat. There's a famous study from 2005, published in Nature, one of the biggest, largest scientific journals on earth, where researchers at the Minnell Chemical Census Center discovered that fresh extra virgin olive oil contains a compound called oleocanthol. And oleocanthol acts on the same enzymes inside your body, such as Cox 1 and Cox 2, that ibuprofen works on as well. I want you to sit with that for just a second. The peppery sting you feel in the back of your throat when you drink really high-quality olive oil, that's the same receptor that ibuprofen hits. Researchers actually figured this out because one of them was working on a liquid ibuprofen, and they felt the same exact throat burning when he tasted fresh olive oil at a meal in Sicily. Roughly 50 grams of high-quality extra virgin olive oil, that's about three and a half tablespoons, gives you the equivalent anti-inflammatory action of about 10% of an adult ibuprofen dose. Every single day, and here's the thing, without any liver damage, no gut lining destruction, none of the side effects. Most people are pouring it on a salad maybe twice a week and calling it a day. But I wanted to know what happens when you start treating it like a tool instead of a topping. The thing that actually pushed me, inspired me to conduct this experiment was the PREDIMED study. PREDIMED is one of the single largest trials, nutrition trials ever run. Spanish researchers followed 7,447 people around for years. They split them into three different groups. Mediterranean diet plus four tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil every day. The other group was a Mediterranean diet plus mixed nuts, and then a low fat control group. The olive oil group lost more fat than the low fat group. That's right. The group eating more fat lost more weight, and they showed bigger reductions in waist circumference, which is a good marker for visceral fat, that nasty organ fat. So many people think eating fat makes you fat. Well, this study proves the opposite. Then just this past September, another study came out in the Frontiers of Nutrition. They looked at 16,273 adults. The people who consumed two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil at least six days a week had an average waste of 89.1 centimeters, which is about 35 inches. The people who consumed olive oil irregularly, their waist circumference was 99.4 centimeters, which is about 39 inches. That's a four-inch difference in the waistline based on how often someone consumes their extra virgin olive oil. So that's where my head was at. You know, the science kept pointing me towards olive oil and what it's doing at a metabolic level, improving insulin signaling, calming inflammation, heck, even shrinking visceral fat. And I was sitting on a shelf full of olive oil thinking, am I actually using this stuff right? Probably not. So I decided to test it. Three tablespoons every day for ten days in a row. No other changes to my diet or training. Here's what happened. Day one. Okay, I'll be honest. The first morning, I poured one tablespoon of olive oil into a small glass and stared at it for like a full minute before I drank it. Drinking olive oil straight up without anything else, like first thing in the morning, it's not a normal thing. The texture is a little heavier than you expect. There is that peppery burn in the back of your throat, which by the way should happen. That's the oleocanthol that I mentioned earlier. And after that first sip, first thing in the morning on day one, my body kind of went like, what is happening right now? I wasn't used to this routine. Then I got it down, and then mid-afternoon, I had my second tablespoon of olive oil. Then early evening, I had my third tablespoon. I tried to space them out between meals, not with food. Within a few hours of my third dose, my stomach felt a little off. I was consuming more fats away from food than I was used to. It wasn't painful at all. I just felt a little heavy, like my gut wasn't sure what I'm doing. I went to bed wondering if should I be having this much olive oil or should I be having it with my meals? But let's continue on with the experiment.
SPEAKER_01Sorry, a little happy ahead.
SPEAKER_00You want with the experiment. Day two was a little rougher, a little interesting. I did feel a little bloated. My energy was slightly lower than I'm used to having when I'm working out. I didn't crash or anything, it was just I noticed a difference. And around 3 p.m., I had a wave of, okay, I had a thought of what am I actually doing? Should I be consuming this much fat away from food? I was gonna just give up on the experiment, but then I thought, I wanna follow this, uh finish this, follow through with this, so let's see what happens. Let me go 10 days and then we could decide if this was good or not. Here's what I figured out later. When you suddenly add 30 plus grams of fat to your body that you weren't planning on, all your gallbladder has to release bile, the liver has to recycle that bile, and you gotta break down that fat. It's called emulsification. Also, your gut microbiome has to adjust. And in those first 48 hours, there's an adaptation, and sometimes you might feel a little off before things start to get better. So I knew this and I held the line. Three tablespoons on schedule, drank a ton of water, and of course I went to bed early, like I always do. Then day three happened. I woke up on day three before the little sunlight stimulation lamp I have that naturally wakes me up. I woke up before right before that. I opened my eyes and I noticed I feel really good. I don't normally feel hungry in the morning, so there was no hunger, but my energy levels were already increased right when I opened my eyes in the morning. So I went to the bathroom and I'll spare you the details. But let's just say my body had decided to release a few things it was holding on to. That's the polite version of what happened. So I grabbed my scale that I used out of curiosity, and I was down two and a half pounds. And I'm not somebody right now that needs to lose a ton of weight, nor am I trying to lose a ton of weight, but my body was naturally releasing some fat in just two days. And that's without changing anything else. Now, look, some of that was probably water weight, but we know olive oil does a tremendous job at lowering inflammation when you lower inflammant.
SPEAKER_01I also want to point out right here, the body is so brilliant that if we have toxins that cannot be assimilated into the body and excreted out of the body, the body will store it in fat. So with this much powerful olive oil, remember I talked about how it's a detoxifying agent and it cleanses. So as it's getting rid of toxins, your body is free to lose fat.
SPEAKER_00Nation, your fat-burning hormones get into your cells and they do their job better. I looked in the mirror, my face looked great. There was no puffiness, it looked perfect. Then I put on my shorts to get ready to record content for you. And I noticed that they were just a little looser than I was used to. So my waist was shrinking a little bit. That's just three days in. Then it clicked for me. This wasn't just calories and fat that I was consuming. Something else was shifting at a hormonal level. See, there's a real mechanism for what I was feeling. Extravirgin olive oil at this dose has been shown to lower postprandial glucose, which is your blood sugar levels after eating. One study showed that just adding 10 grams of extra virgin olive oil to a meal cut their post-blood sugar spike by over 20%. So when your insulin isn't spiking and crashing all day long, you stop riding that blood sugar cravings energy roller coaster. So if you experience an afternoon slump, that should be gone by day three. That urge you need to snack to keep your energy levels, that also should be gone. Excuse me. Is it tea time? No tea. Is it okay if I drink it anyway? But of course. Earn rewards wherever you book travel. The autograph jury credit card for one.
SPEAKER_01Another ad spicy.
SPEAKER_00No should be gone. That feeling where you finish your lunch and your brain immediately starts negotiating and thinking about dinner or dessert or something sweet, that also should be gone. It's like the volume of your appetite gets turned down day after day of doing this. That's the moment I realized that this experiment was about to teach me something. By day four, that gut weirdness was completely gone. I was eating my normal meals. Chicken, beef, on my high carb days, rice and certain vegetables and eggs, you know, the boring stuff, the healthy stuff. But I was eating a little bit less without trying. My usual portion size just looked like too much food. I'd serve myself what I have always served myself, but I'd eat about two-thirds of it, and then I was done. I was satisfied. Day five, I had a workout where I noticed my joints felt different. See, I'm 41 years old. I lift weights, I'm very active, I play basketball almost every single day. Sometimes my elbows talk to me, my knees talk to me. Day five, they were quiet. You see, that's the real reason for this. The oleocanthol, the compound I mentioned earlier, it's not theoretical. It actually inhibits inflammatory pathways the same way that ibuprofen does, but without wrecking your stomach lining. A 2020 study put 23 people with metabolic syndrome on high olecanthol extra virgin olive oil for two months. Their inflammatory cytokines, IL6, TNF alpha, the markers of chronic inflammation all dropped significantly. Their waist circumference went down, their visceral fat ratio improved, and their fatty liver index improved. See, I was running a 10-day version of this protocol, and by day six, I felt a less inflamed, better version of myself. My face and skin complexion looked better. I had less stiffness, especially first thing in the morning after a heavy day of training. On day seven, I checked the scale again. Down about four pounds from the start. As a reminder, I don't have extra weight to lose. Obviously, my body was getting rid of some inflammatory fat on my body. Here's the part I want you to actually really pay attention to. I was not in a calorie deficit or tracking calories or macros. I wasn't dieting. What was happening is that the high quality fat I was having in between meals via olive oil was helping me feel satiated and more full inflammation was draining out, and the water retention that comes with inflammation was leaving my body. See, my body was decompressing. I'm a healthy guy, but we all have levels of inflammation. The goal is not to bring your inflammation to a level of zero. You would not exist. You want low but healthy amounts of inflammation. And that's the part nobody really tells you, especially when it comes to olive oil. People talk about how it's a heart-healthy fat, which it is, yes, for sure. But what they don't tell you, at the right dose, the right consistency, at the right amount of polyphenols, it acts on your hormones, your insulin response, your inflammatory load, and your appetite signaling. All of it. It's not magic. This is just the mechanism of how this works. Okay, days eight, nine, and ten. Honestly, were the boring parts of this experiment. The dramatic stuff already happened. By this point, three tablespoons a day was just part of my routine. Morning, afternoon, evening. I wasn't even thinking about it. What I noticed in this stretch was the steady part. My energy after meals were rock solid, even after a high carb meal, which I tend to do from time to time. No more crash at all in the afternoons. I looked at my deep sleep on my aura ring, that got improved. My REM sleep improved, my wake-up times throughout the night, that decreased, so that was an improvement. Now I don't know if there was a clean study, a legitimate study on olive oil and sleep. But my guess is that there is a correlation there. There's a direct correlation because I saw improvements with my tracking, and it makes sense as you calm inflammation, you calm cortisol, the stress hormone. When you do that, especially at night, it improves your sleep. Now that's just my hypothesis. Day 10, the final day, got on the scale, down 5.8 pounds. Waste measurement was also down about an inch and a half. The weirdest part was what happened after I stopped the experiment. For about three days after day 10, I noticed my appetite stayed lower than my normal baseline. I was full and satiated. I I didn't need as much food. Now around day 13 and 14, I noticed that started to change back to where it was before. Which tells me something real and something that was happening physiologically. This wasn't placebo, although I think placebos are very powerful and I never negate a placebo. But it showed me that there was a hormonal shift that gained momentum during that 10-day experiment. Okay, now I'm gonna have to share this part because if you try this and you skip what I'm about to say, you're probably gonna have a really bad time. Around day six, I got a little bold and cocky. I've been spacing out my doses of the olive oil. Morning on an empty stomach, in the afternoon between lunch and dinner, and then in the evening right before bed. That is the right way to do it. Do it that way. The fat hits your gut without competing for digestion. The satiety hormones are triggered. These are cholecystokinine, peptide YY, leptin. You don't need to learn those. These are essentially GLP1 signaling pathways. Yeah, the same GLP1 you hear about with Ozempic, you get this for free. They get to actually do their job. But on day six, I got lazy. I had a big dinner. It was one of my what I call keto flex days, metabolic flex days. So I had a steak, sweet potato, roasted vegetables. I ate the whole thing. And right after, I figure I'm gonna just take my olive oil. And I had skipped the afternoon olive oil shot. So I had two tablespoons I needed to consume, and I did it right after that big meal. That was a bad call. Within 40 minutes, I felt like there was a brick sitting in my stomach. Not too painful, but it felt off. See, the fat stayed on top of the protein and the carbs I was eating, and it slowed down everything. See, olive oil massively slows down gastric empty. That's why it works for reducing post-sugar glucose spikes. But when you add two or even three tablespoons of olive oil on top of a heavy meal, it slowed down too much. That's when I realized that three tablespoons a day works because of how you take it, not just the amount. It's important to space it out. Morning, afternoon, evening. Drink it with water, that's it. Get these mechanisms right, you'll experience smooth, incredible benefits. You get it wrong, you might feel like I felt. Okay, three things came up during this experiment that I want to share with you because they genuinely changed how I see olive oil. Number one, a study published in 2010 by UC Davis tested 124 different bottles of imported extra virgin olive oil sold in California supermarkets. Big name brands, stuff you've seen on your grocery shelf. The results, most of the samples, failed international standards for what extra virgin actually is. Some were diluted with cheaper oil, some were rancid, some were oxidized to the point where they were doing the opposite of what real extra virgin olive oil is supposed to do. Now, in fairness, the FDA has pushed back on this study, and more recent tests have found lower fraud rates than that 2010 number. So the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Who knows? But here's the takeaway. If you're grabbing a cheap bottle of olive oil at the supermarket, you might not be getting what the label says. The polyphenols that you need for all the benefits we spoke about here need to be at a very high level. They start dropping fast after harvest date and accelerate when the oil is in clear bottles or sitting on the shelf for a long time. And a good percentage of what's sold in the United States is probably already past its useful window. Number two, real high polyphenol extra virgin olive oil, the kind that gives your throat that sting is because of the oleocanthol. That oleocanthol, the polyphenol has been shown in Mediterranean diets and studies to reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes by up to 51%. That's half. People are paying hundreds, if maybe sometimes thousands, of dollars for diabetes medication to do what olive oil can might be able to do naturally. Okay, this is not medical advice. I will speak to your doctor, but it's really interesting to me. And number three, this is the one that broke me a little bit. Extravirgin olive oil may increase what's called diet-induced thermogenesis. Basically, how many calories your metabolism burns while you're digesting food by about 5.1% compared to other diets. So olive oil isn't just calories in. The calories you get from it might cost more to process, which is a good thing. This slightly increases your calorie burn without having to track calories or exercise to burn those calories. Combine that with the appetite blunting benefits and the insulin sensitivity benefits. And you start to understand why people in Mediterranean studies were dropping waste size by eating more fat than the control groups. So if you actually want to try this, here's the version, the protocol that I'd recommend for you. You could do the same exact protocol that I did: three tablespoons a day, morning, afternoon, dinner, in between meals. Or if that is a little bit too intimidating, you could do this here. Start with one tablespoon a day. Take it in the morning on an empty stomach with a glass of water right after and do that for seven days. After that, bump it up to two tablespoons every day for a week. One in the morning, one in the mid-afternoon, always between meals. And then on the third week, you could go to the full-on experiment of three tablespoons per day. And the most important rule here is to use real, fresh pressed, high polyphenol, extra virgin olive oil.
SPEAKER_01Make sure yes, and he just reiterates how important it is to not get the water down, olive oil, or chemical chemically added, or mixed with even other all olive own mixed with other oils. You don't want that. So we want the pure potent stuff, and there is a way to get that, and um that is um O L I A B O dot com forward slash my name Tanya Bond. T-A-N-Y-A B-O-N-D. And that has the kit in a packet called Prima, and you take four of those a day, and they also sell the precious olive oil with the high phenols, and I am very excited to order those myself. I this is newer to me, and I have been taking the supplements and excited to purchase more products that are this level of technology, the synergy of the olive tree parts all working together. I just thought this video was so cool because he shared from his own experience and his own research all the benefits. I mean, I feel like of what he mentioned, most people are gonna say, Hey, yeah, I need help with that. And it's so simple. There when you're doing this, you're not putting any toxins or anything foreign or anything from another. Animal, or you know, just weird stuff that's you know, this is a tree, the olive tree has the same number of chromosomes as the human body, so there's such a harmony, a synergy. Um, putting this in our body, it's almost like it was meant to be. Hmm. So some really this to me is really breakthrough because you know it's true. I remember when it was like everything was low fat and avoid fat because that's how you get rid of fat, right? And but we were starving our brains, we were starving our bodies from the good fats. No one taught us that there were bad fats, the seed oils and and the processed junk and deep fried stuff, you know, and but instead of that stocking up on olive, um, olive oil, uh, cooking with avocado oil, and eating avocados, those are you know, the walnuts, the good fats are like essential. So we need to replenish, we need to replenish fat in our body, and as we do, it washes out because our bodies are so brilliantly made, it gets rid of where we have had the bad fats in our body and living at that level of life, which is low, and it replaces, you know, just being being faithful every day, every consecutive day, continue to put in the good fats and a whole tablespoon in the morning. I am so going to try this um when I first wake up in the morning because I always fast in the morning and just eat uh a meal and have a smoothie at lunchtime. But in those morning hours, they're they're even saying that in ancient times when people would fast, they would have olive oil, and this is the real stuff, this is the potent stuff right from the tree and or right from the olives, I should say, but um that's part of their fast. So this is really precious information and um what it does to help get rid of fat. I'm excited. I'm excited to do this. I'm excited if you if you're able to do it and and to share, you know what what happens, log each day what's going on in your body, and please don't freak out if you get a little bit of rash or if you get a little bumps, or your body wants to cleanse and detoxify. So depending on your personal rate of toxicity, I know that's just a thing, it is today. Um, it's gonna be easier for your body to transition to good fats if you if you um aren't that toxic. But if you are more toxic, you might feel a little more like he talked about what was it, day two or three, that oh, just a little bit of strange in his gut, like strange, and the really the body is transitioning over quite quickly compared to a lifetime of eating junk, right? But there is that little bit of time, so don't freak out, don't abort the mission, stay with it, and you're gonna get through it, and you're gonna be in a better place on the other side with the good fats, and just just I encourage you to keep it up and oliabo's little packets. Uh, you can't get easier than that. They're bringing the Mediterranean blessings right to your door, and you just get to take them every day. So, and then enjoy the olive oil. I want to experiment, you know, they do have a a product for your face. Um, and just just the I'm just falling in love with this whole olive oil thing because just thinking of putting it on your skin, even and just that kind of quality of a potency of olive oil, what would that do to my skin? Or um, I don't know, just wow, it's just fun to to imagine um and to try some different things, you know, even like your cuticles and nail, fingernails, and wow. So more of the good fats equals more fat loss. So this is this is truth. Hello, truth slicker, and try it. This is um we've been lied to, we've been gypped, and we've been stolen from by misinformation, and but when we hear something true, we're powerful to make decisions and and to and to try it. So thanks for listening today. This was just a really cool testimony of a brave soul who really wanted to dive into not just the information but his own experience with with olive oil. So um, yes, thank you. Bye bye.
