Welcome back to Truth Flicker. This is Tanya Bond. And I get to have the honor of interviewing Dr. Jerry Shaw today. And I want to just review a little bit. The last episode we learned that all things are possible for those who believe, right? All things are possible with God. And even brain scans can be improved and there can be regeneration, even in the brain. And today we're going to talk to Dr. Jerry Shaw. And he's going to share a little bit of his story of how he got connected with Aliabo and his kind of his wellness journey. So, Dr. Jerry Shaw, would you introduce yourself and share with us where you're at right now in life?

SPEAKER_00

Thank you, Johnny. Yeah, it's it's been a journey for sure. And uh you mentioned my wellness journey. It was uh it was quite a journey. In fact, I was diagnosed with a rare bone disease at age five and was not allowed to walk or be ambulatory at all for the next five years. And so as a young guy, you know, five between the ages of five and ten, not being able to walk is a big is a huge issue. And how I dealt with it was I my hobbies were building models. Everything from airplanes to ships to various action figures and whatever. You know, I was always building models. So I was working with airplane glues and I would always paint it. And there were these toxic uh uh oil-based paints that I would use. And so I was always breathing these things most of the day. And so I was always I was sick a lot because of that. So always going to the doctor, not only did they analyze and study my bone condition on a monthly basis with x-rays and things of that nature, I was getting antics and things like blue shots and things like that, a lot of respiratory issues. So by the time I was um in my teens, it just all it just broke. You know, my immune system had had too much. And uh I went basically from 185 pounds to 125 pounds pretty quickly, like within three or four months. Lymph nodes rocked hard all over my body. And so I decided to uh take uh that healing journey. Uh I'd already started on it actually, because I knew that I had you know a lot of issues, and I started in chiropractic school, and I I was not well, and I was going to school, and I we weren't a wealthy family, so I had to try to figure out some way to earn a living, and so I did handyman work. So it was it was a lot, and um but I was in Los Angeles where there were a lot of natural healers, and you can you could uh study with people easily within a couple hundred miles, very famous doctors and uh herbalists and natural healers, and I just dove into every possibility and studied with them.

unknown

And some were quite famous, like Dr.

SPEAKER_00

Bernard Jensen, and uh even spent time studying with Dr. John Christopher, the master herbalists, etc. Um, but uh some very noted people of the time, and little by little I gained my wellness back, and it took me down different pathways. I ended up studying traditional Chinese medicine, I ended up uh studying medicine and actually going to India to complete those studies, and um realizing that Western medicine is all about uh homeostasis. At least that's what it analyzes the body around. Yeah, that's where you do the blood tests, the physical exam, and all things are within range. That's homeostasis. In Chinese medicine, it's based on balance, and it has to do with yin and yang and the five elements earth, water, air, uh, fire, and ether. It has Ayurvedic medicine, is the doshas, the Vada Pitta Kappa doshas, but all about balance and an understanding that the body has the ability to generate that balance, but sometimes it needs assistance. Sometimes you analyze it and figure out where the energy drain is or what's happening to the body causing it to be out of balance, and you subtly bring it back into balance. One reason I really like traditional medicines, like traditional Chinese or Ariadic medicine, is they aren't real invasive. Western medicine tends to be more invasive with very powerful drugs that I call an energy vector, sometimes necessary. But it's so powerful it overwhelms the body. In other work with the body, the body has an innate intelligence, an innate ability to create the balance. And sometimes the introduction of that vector is needed to help bring that balance about, but it causes the body to kind of struggle to continue to keep the balance because it's so major, such a major intervention, like drug or surgery. So sometimes necessary, but if it can be avoided, it's better because the human body has the capacity to restore, and if you use a more subtle means to bring help bring it into balance, then it gets stronger, not weaker. And I think that's really the key. And so I really develop this belief that the body has, I call it the miracle within. It has the ability to restore, regenerate, rebuild, do what it needs to. I saw it in my own life and my own experience, but you've got to be able to give it what it needs. And in the world today, especially in the industrialized world, we not only have been stripped of those things the body needs by an agriculture that turned chemical like probably almost a hundred years ago, and uh then went to GMOs, you know, in the 90s, and just to make it the food more chemicalized because the GMOs are designed to hold up under very powerful herbicides, and the plants have actually become weak because every year you grow food with just a synthetic fertilizer, you're not rebuilding the soil naturally, you start stripping it of the trace minerals. Those are the foundation of things that our body uses to restore and rebuild and to all the mechanisms support all the mechanisms in the body. So those are being stripped away by and large by the majority of the population, and then on top of that, you add pesticides and various, you know, herbicides, pesticides, various other things that are toxic. There's up to 80,000 chemicals that are approved for use in industry. That includes agriculture, includes building materials, includes clothing, it includes uh uh personal care items, all of the things that we're exposed to. It's been estimated that a person is exposed to 180 different toxic chemicals by the time they leave their house in the morning because there's so much going on. And so you add that to the mix where the foundations being stripped away and the challenges being mounted even greater and greater, and then you add kind of a subtle thing to the mix. Over the last century, various communication technologies, and especially in the last, let's say, 30 years, where they've stepped up, you know, the various uh towers that that went from 3G to 4G, now 5G. We are energetic. Our body is is energy, it's frequency, it's vibration, it communicates electrically, and this is this is a kind of interference. It uh it actually has an effect that the body can overcome because our bodies are amazing at compensating and adapting. However, you throw enough challenges its way, and as these things mount, no system can withstand that degree of challenge before it begins to break. And what we found clinically was it begins to break first, especially in the last, let's say, 30 years, in the gut. And the gut has become very compromised. And that's the barrier that uh between you and the outside world because that's where you're assimilating the food, and the food then goes into the blood through the gut, and it's a very important structure, and it's a semi-permeable membrane in the small valve that actually uh once the everything's broken down properly, it selects and allows some things into the blood. And the first place it goes is the liver, because the liver takes those ingredients and actually conditions it, manufactures things for the body to use, all of the things that support all the mechanisms, all the metabolism, uh, enzymes, hormones, um sugar, fat, all of these kinds of things are changed out and made usable by the body in the liver. But what happens when the gut is breaking down, and just one of the things that happens, and the gut is breaking down for numerous reasons. One is just that the toxins, the herbicides and things that go down into the gut, uh, thin out the membranes because it's just it's not healthy for those very sensitive membranes. But eventually they begin to break down due to those toxins. Also, overuse of antibiotics, you know, has caused a disruption of the normal microbiome. And so the biome that actually protects that gut lining becomes depleted, and the biome that actually creates things for our body all becomes depleted. And now, as the gut becomes less functional, it becomes permeable, not semi-permeable. So it allows things into the blood that shouldn't be there, and guess what that does? It goes first to the liver, and the liver actually then has to deal with the whatever it is. So now the liver's overworking on top of everything else it does, up to 500 functions that it does. Also, those large particles in the blood are recognized by the immune system as foreign invaders. So they're recognized as an antigen. So the first line of defense that's the macrophages, those are the kind of the gobble-up molecules like lymphocytes, leukocytes, they come after those large things and surround them and try to take them away. Well, it ends up in the liver, and the liver has to break that down into component parts and get rid of it. So you can see this vicious cycle starting. At some point, those macrophages just can't keep coming because precursors for the macrophages are made in the liver. And if the liver's overworking, that whole system begins to bog down. Now that another line of defense gets called up, that's T cell. T cell and B cells, and those are the memory, they have memory. And they create a template for those particular protein structures that are leaking into the blood, and that is where you know you have an allergy to something because you have this template, and then you always react to it. Well, let's say that what's leaking through is you know, you're doing a lot of dairy or you're doing a lot of grains and wheat and things, and it starts reacting to that, it builds a template to that because it's constantly in your blood. Well, that's the person that's becomes allergic to dairy and allergy to wheat and all these kinds of things. So that compromises the health because then inflammation starts becoming an issue. And again, the liver has mechanisms it helps support to keep inflammation in check. And inflammation can easily get out of control. Another thing the liver does is buffer the blood sugar because it allows the sugars to be stored as glycogen and then broken down into glucose as the body needs it. So when that whole thing gets disrupted and that there's excess glucose, blood sugar issues, etc., uh, you combine that with the fact that the liver actually makes the various sterols that the body needs, like the HDL and LDL and triglycerides and all of those things that the body actually needs, the brain is composed primarily of cholesterol, the nervous system, all those membranes that surround the nerves composed of cholesterol, then the cell membranes themselves are phospholipid, and so these things begin to become compromised if the body's ability to produce these healthy phospholipids and cholesterol-type things become compromised. So then you have cell membrane issues, which is type 2 diabetes, which further spins inflammation out of control. So you can see the domino effect, and it all started with the gut. And we found out in most cases you could track it back to the gut, whether it was cardiovascular disease, autoimmune disease, um you know, metabolic disorders, and you know, things like diabetes, etc., you could trace it back to the gut. And so when I found that uh company uh oliabo was coming into existence, uh some people say oliabo, um some say oliabo, I say I personally say oliabo.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

I think of Italian because it comes from Italy.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Oliabo. Anyway, they uh and I love that it comes from Italy because they have not compromised on their farming methods in Italy. And they actually um they actually keep uh the traditional methods alive, and they've outlawned GMOs, in fact. And Oleabo is about the olive botanicals, it adds grapeseed extract, and it adds lycopene and rosemary. And why those ingredients? Well, the Mediterranean diet, the most studied, analyzed uh system of diet the world has ever seen, because in the Mediterranean there's two blue zones. And blue zones are defined as places where people live longer with with the absence of disease. And so it's consistently living beyond 100 years and still having cognition, still having physical abilities, and still being able to live a vital life, a longer vital life, the Mediterranean area in the blue zones. Pardon me. And when they looked at the blue zones, they realized, what are these people doing that's so special? And if you actually analyze the diet, the diet isn't that healthy, really. They try to you know explain the Mediterranean diet, and it's just a regional diet. You know, it's no different than the regional food might be in any other part of the world. But what they'd miss, at least what they did up until recent times, is it's the nuances. It's the fact that they're steeped in a culture that's related to the olive plant, the olive tree, and all of its components, and they tap into the grape in many different ways, and lycopene from the tomatoes, etc. And the herb rosemary is finds its way into the mix. And when you analyze these, and especially if you analyze them together, you realize there's some powerful things there. And um we can cover that, you know, in a in a future podcast, you know, exactly what is in those kind of those things.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But we uh suffice to say that they work synergistically to help support and bring back the well-being of the body. And um one of the things that I knew from many years ago is the olive tree is one of the longest living plants in the world, one of the longest living organisms of any kind in the world. In fact, the average age of the orchards in Europe, in the Mediterranean area, are four to six hundred years old. But in those orchards, there's many thousand-year-old trees, and there's two thousand, three thousand-year-old trees. The oldest tree is, they estimate, between four to five thousand years old, and these trees still produce fruit. They still are vital and healthy trees. And even they have the great resilience because fires can come through and burn the vegetation. First thing that comes back to life, the olive tree. So the olive built into itself, and we can talk a little bit more about this in the future, certain ingredients that gave us this strength, this resilience, this disease resistance, and the people of that region that partake of those botanicals, not because it was some health trend or some bad, it's because it's what their parents did. And the parents before them, what their grandparents did. It's been a tradition for thousands of years. And if you analyze their culture, they live longer with less disease than anywhere in the world. And now it's been validated by literally, if you look at all of the studies, published studies, peer-reviewed studies, uh, over a hundred thousand of them on these different botanicals. And it's mind-boggling what they show. And if you look, just a quick overview of the studies before we drop off, um cardiovascular risk reduction by 31%. And this is these are significant studies. That was with 7,000 people over seven years. 31% reduction in cardiovascular resistance risk. Uh, in fact, stroke uh prevention was 47% reduced. Wow. With type 2 diabetes, 52% reduction in risk. So over half of the people that would have developed type 2 diabetes did not. Uh overall mortality, uh 23 to 25% less premature death, and up to 80% less when combined with a single healthy lifestyle improvement. Um there's another study that has um weight management that shows it's 200% more effective at helping people maintain an ideal weight than any other diet that had been found. Cognitive health, 24 to 36 percent reduction. Imagine all the cognitive dementia, Alzheimer's, all of those kinds of things, mental disorders, 24 to 30 percent less, pregnancy complications, so obviously this is good during pregnancy, 21% less in pregnancy issues. So uh it's proven itself out by studies and by an analysis of the populations, and Oliavo is delivering an easy-to-use packet that has all of these ingredients, and we can cover that a little more in the future. But um, suffice to say, it's it's finally available to the world to be to have access. But what supports the body and its ability to resist disease and support that miracle within that I talked about at the beginning and help build us back to a strength that we were intended to have, that we were created to have. And so just restore that within us, that that brilliance, that that miracle within us. So, Tanya, that's kind of a you know quick 30,000-foot overview of what Bill will bring into the world, and we can schedule another time to tap into some some of the more uh details of this.

SPEAKER_01

Well, they thank you so much for sharing that, Dr. Jerry. That's that's very um hope-giving, though, the words that you're that you're sharing, the experience that you you've been through in your life. And that is really quite a robust, what would we call it, life force that's in the olive tree. And I guess we shouldn't be surprised. God breathed it into existence with a purpose and a plan to help us. Like you said, to assist us in life. And I think you mentioned in a different chat about their diet themselves not even being that great, you know, the choices that they make in their daily food, you know, eating and and but yet taking the the supplement still overrules. And it still is so powerful that it that it has enabled them to um live longer and live better lives. So even even if you're struggling with your diet change, you know, don't don't think it has to be a perfect diet in order to to begin to you know reap the benefits of of this tree and just just start, right? Just start where you're at, and and um that's a great place to start. I'm also excited that you you went into um how the the need for us to detoxify our bodies. I remember many years ago God God told me in a very clear way, my people are toxic, and it just kind of took me aback. And I thought, what are you, what does that mean? You know, what are you talking about? And and it kind of started me on a journey of you're right, all this stuff you talked about, how we're how we're kind of quietly, secretly being poisoned, and and how do we uh get rid of that? How do we unload that from our body and and have you know learned quite a few different methods, tried different things, and and thank God there are you know ways out there. And do you do you know what part of Oleabo's I call it a pillow packet, um does help with with the detoxifying and and um at the same time bringing nutrients to the body? I mean, maybe that's just how it works, but is there anything you could share about that part of it?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, there are several organs that are involved in detox, the main one being the liver, but also to a smaller degree the lungs, the skin, the kidneys. Um these organs help to get rid of various toxins in the body, but the liver is primary, of course the the gut, you know, but um to support these mechanisms we've got to do that to detoxify. And there's a couple of stages to detoxification. There's a stage one and stage two, and the reason there's two stages is the body tends to store toxins in the fat cells, and they make the fat really difficult to release. In fact, if you starve yourself, you can lose the weight, you can lose the fat. But it sends signals that we have to fortify these fat layers because this person can have periods of starvation. So the fat layers actually get thicker and become more resistant. That's why people that go on diets tend to gain all the weight back plus a few pounds, you know, once they start eating normally again. So the key is to detoxify, and that first stage is to get it out of the fat cells, now it's in the blood. And to get it from the blood to be removed from the body, the body has to go through some mechanisms like oftentimes changing it from a from a fat soluble to a water soluble, which it does, and then the kidneys can eliminate it, or it can be uh respond through the skin or the lungs, things of that nature, and that's in part of the that's the stage two part of the detox. And during that stage two, you can actually have more symptoms. So you're detoxifying and you don't feel so good, or you might get skin rash or diarrhea or constipation or headaches or things, and you think I'm going backwards, but actually you're uh it's part of the process of releasing those toxins, so it's just part of the journey and just hold to it. You know, drink more water, get outside, get some sunshine, go for a walk, increase the metabolism that way, and and expose yourself to sunshine, but actually makes the skin, and vitamin D all supports detox, and then simplify the diet during that period. So it's good to eliminate things like any sugar, dairy, or wheat to just really make your diet really simple, just fresh fruits, vegetables, lean meats, things like that, and plenty of water. And you'll get through the detox, and on the other side of it, you'll be a lot better off.

SPEAKER_01

That's good, that's good, very insightful. And on that note, I just want to say that through my research I've found that you know, if you have have had the vaccine and what do they call it, remorse, and you have remorse, you want to, you know, get that stuff out of your body. Uh, Dr. Artis does have um something specifically made to cleanse the body from that situation, and you can just look him up and and help yourself with with that um detoxification. That's very helpful. So, well, thank you, Dr. Jerry. This has been wonderful. Let's do another podcast, and I I look forward to that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I do as well. Anytime, just let me know.

SPEAKER_01

All right, thank you.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you.
