Welcome back to Truth Slicker. We are honored to have Dr. Jerry Shaw with us again today. And if you were able to tune in to his his last sharing with us, it was so insightful. And stuff that I wish my doctors would have shared with me would have been so helpful. But he did his research. He's traveled the miles to find gold for us, for our health. And Dr. Jerry, we're just thrilled to have you back again. And what would you like to share with us today?

SPEAKER_01

Well, I'd like to get into a little more of the details. We kind of touched on the oliambo um experience and how it had to do with the olive botanicals, grape cheese extract, like lycopene and rosemary, and we have access to that. So I'd like to go down that road just a little bit further, a little more detail. One thing we did mention is the diet in the Mediterranean region isn't exemplary at all. In fact, I worked with a PhD in nutrition. He got a PhD from the University of Stockholm. He spent a lot of time in Europe, a lot of time in Italy, in fact. And he was a famous nutritionist and was very successful in his work. And um, I worked with him for a while back in the early 80s, and he would comment that the Italian diet was terrible. But actually, what saved them and actually helped support their longevity because he knew about their longevity, he said was their use of high-quality extroversion olive oil and the use of the grape. Because of so he was already aware back then, like 50 years ago, of the nuances related to the Mediterranean diamond that we're only now really uncovering and diving into. That's the critical thing. We don't get that in North America. It's not fresh. This is fresh from middle, it's expressed here. Oils typically take a slow container ship. You know, sitting on shelves of store, etc. And uh we get it direct, Oliver gets it directly expressed in its first 12-hour press, which is actually even hard to find in places like Italy. Because the people that know or didn't know, the people in the countryside and the olive cores, etc., they kind of hoard it there and they keep it because they know how special it is. And they uh it has extremely uh high qualities, it has it's loaded with these uh sterols and uh and polyphenols and uh things with names like herbascocide and polyocanthol and polyripin and hydroxytrosol and pyrosol and these kinds of things. The names aren't so important, but what's what's the thing that we need to understand is that each component of the olive tree tends to have a little more strength among these polyphenols. So if you take the whole tree, and by that I mean not only the hyphenolic extroversion olive one first 12-hour press, but the leaf the olive leaf is a lot of them. It's antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, has many, many properties, it has things that's really high in the lurk, which is the uh certain polyphenol that's that's very beneficial. But the also the fruit and the seed have components that are really good as well. Like for example, the seed is really good for uh anti-tumor, those kinds of things, that supports kidney function, all of these, and some of the things that uh these polyphenols have been known to do are shown by studies brain support, metabolic support, anti-inflammatory, so it supports normal levels of inflammation, and that's a huge issue because out of control inflammation is like the foundation of almost every disease. So it supports the normalizing of this. Normalizing gut microbiome. We talked about the how important the microbiome was in the last pod test. Huge to help protect the gut lining. Also, it helps manufacture things for our body, things like B vitamins, etc. It helps to break down some fat-soluble vitamins, things like vitamin A, vitamin D, things like that. So it works with us to support our health. And most people's microbiome has been distorted and destroyed. So this helps normalize the microbiome. The beta cells and pancreas are supported, those are the ones that produce insulin. Uh the oleocanthol has uh been known to uh be anti, not only anti-inflammatory, it has similar pathways as the ibuprofen, except it's a natural pain-controlling pathway. Um, the oleropin that I already mentioned, really good for joint health, uh to support normal, healthy weight. All of these different things work together, and they're different parts of the olive plant, from the from the oil to the leaf, to the seed, the fruit, all put together in a uh in this packet. And so the packet that Oliano is delivering has two capsules that actually contain the the high phenolic extra virgin olive oil. And so you don't have to actually take it down in a shot, you can do it in the capsule because it can tend to irritate the throat, the phenols can be a little irritating, so you just swallow it down. So the easy way to take it. And then another capsule has the olive leaf, the olive seed, and the fruit. And that's actually uh what they they uh trademarked it, and it's called olivectin. So that's a that's a name that you won't find out there except with oliavos because they trademarked that as their as their brand. And um, so that's all in one capsule. In another capsule is grapeseed extract and lycopene. And um by the way, in the in the hyphenolic extraversion olive oil capsule, there's also rosemary. And that not only helps protect the the oil. By the way, the oil when it's when it's released in Italy, immediately it's packaged in nitrogen because oxygen is its enemy, and it's sealed away from any light and express delivered to the United States. So it's very fresh and it's it's very active, which is almost impossible to find in the market today. So all of these things working together help to rebuild, restore, and help us to regenerate because it's think of it this way. We talked about the length of life of the olive tree, and the olive tree actually has the same number of chromosomes, same number of chromosome pairs as the human being, 46. And that's very rare. There's a couple of exceptions, but it's extremely rare out of the millions of different organisms, and so that's interesting. But the the thing that that caught my attention is that the number of actual genes is triple in the olive tree, because for some reason the olive tree was able to morph itself over time to create all of these different things to protect itself and give it strength, and it translates to human beings really well because as we analyze it scientifically, we see all of these amazing things, and as we look at the civilization that utilizes it, we see longer life with less disease. So these same things that the olive tree managed to create within itself to give it strength and resilience translates real well to humanity. So it's there's a reason that it uh was mentioned over fifty times in the Bible. Um uh olive and the olive tree and and olive oil and these kinds of things. Um, I think there was a reason it's in there. I think it was intended for us to help support us, especially in these times when our bodies have been exposed to so many different things, so many different toxins, so many things working against our well-being. And uh we need we just need the support, it's just common sense. And one thing about the Mediterranean people, to them, they don't even think about it, it's part of their culture. So we kind of need to educate ourselves on this, look into the studies, which you know we've done, we've done extensively, and it's pretty mind-boggling. I went over a few of those on the last call. And uh you can go to pubmed.gov. It's also under pubmed.org. Um, it's in the National Institute of Health, Library of Medicine, is where it catalogs all the public studies, and you can search uh EVO, extroverted olive oil, slash whatever you want to know what it plays with, you know, like diabetes, you know, or cardiovascular disease, and you'll see thousands of studies. And uh it's mind-boggling what point you you will go up, and if you go to the Mediterranean and you study that culture, you'll realize that there are people uh in their mid-late 90s, uh beyond 100 years, uh still have great cognition walking down the road, you know, living life like they did, you know, when they were 50. So it's uh it's interesting what we see. And if we think of the world today, we look at what's happening, um, the incidence of a lot of diseases has increased in the industrialized world in the last thirty years. And if you you track that, you begin to realize that it kind of goes along with kind of the way ch things were changed out. You know, the medicine and and uh agriculture all going more and more uh chemical. And uh it's just the incidence of diseases, things like cancers, autoimmune diseases, mental disorders, dementia, autism, things of that nature all have become diabetes. Uh sperm counting in men is like fifty percent less than it was, you know, back in the before the nineties. So it's it it's becoming a huge issue. And people are seeking answers. They're realizing it in fact trust in the healthcare system has dropped by over thirty percent uh since twenty twenty. And also the life expectancy in an industrialized world's countries is dropping in the last uh few years, not going forward like it always did. So people are looking, they're looking for answers, they're looking for solutions. To the tune of uh 203.42 billion dollars are spent, that was in 2025, on supplements. But keep in mind supplements, many of them are actually synthetics. Vitamins, ninety-five to ninety-eight percent of vitamins are synthetic. And so synthetic vitamin is not as good as what you would find in a food source because the food source has all of the synergists, all of the active things that are related to it from the food, and the body actually recognizes it when it's synthetic, that has an action, but it can be some of that overwhelming action, kind of almost drug-like, is just true, like it it doesn't work with the body as well as the food does. The food allows the body to choose what it needs, the synthetic just goes right in. And the body is better off by choosing the various things it needs and utilizing them because we are a series of membranes, not only the gut membrane, and we talked about a lot in the last podcast, where the gut selects what it wants and takes through the gut wall, the semifermeal membrane, and keeps out what it doesn't want. And now you go into the liver that where things are kept and manufactured, things it doesn't want, eliminate impedance, etc. But the final membrane is is in the cell membrane. Where the cell determines we want some of this, we don't want that. So gives it that chance to work the way it was intended, the way it always has. Where if you do something synthetic, it just goes right in. So it eliminates that body the body's ability to collect and choose. But people are looking. 2025, 203.42 billion. 2030, it's expected to be 430.39 billion. So people are looking for solutions and yet they're probably mostly throwing their money away because it's very hard to find to supplement and meet the deficiencies because you don't know where your deficiencies are. Everyone's a little bit different. That's why it's important to do food source, because that lets the body make those determinations. And I love the fact that Oliabo is delivering a food source supplement based on the olive tree, grapeseed extract, lycopene, and uh rosemary, all food-grade things, uh, in an easy-to-take daily packet. So it kind of gives you an idea of what we're we're doing and the brilliance of it. And we have now have access worldwide to the benefits of the Mediterranean diet with a simple packet uh from Oleabo. And uh that particular product is called Prima. They have other products, they have a skincare, they have an external amplification, and I'm sure they'll be developing other things from various Italian uh herbal botanicals. But this was a great way to come out of the gig with the olive botanicals and the grapeseed extract. So I give you just a little bit of an idea of uh a little bit deeper idea what we're working with, and um really happy to have been here and and experience this with you, Tanya. So thank you.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, and anything that has to do with God breathed ancient technology is has got so much life in it, and that's why we're talking about this because this this is this is a help, this is an answer, and I remember traveling when I lived in Minnesota, traveling with a friend down to a little town in Arkansas, and we wanted to go learn about raw cooking, raw cooking, raw eating, and pre-preparation of meals that were raw, because when they're raw, they have the life and the energy and the enzymes still in it, and and he his name was Chef Jeff, and he took a uh a probe that was some kind of an uh energy meter, and he put it into a non-organic apple, and it was supposed to light up and tell you what time it was, like a digital clock, and it did not, it did not light up at all, so there was no energy coming from that dead food, even though that apple looks so beautiful and bright red and shiny. And then he said, Now watch this, and he had an organic apple, and he put that probe into the apple, and that clock lit up for hours, and it powered and fueled that clock, and that taught me a huge lesson about what are we putting in our bodies? Are are we putting life and energy in our body to give us energy or or is there is it dead, is it void of energy and actually requiring energy to digest and and expending our own energy just to digest that food. So I have you know, it would be so fun if they could do, you know, a test like that with these products, because I have no doubt that this olive oil would be off the charts because it it the more you talk to us about this, the more reverence I have for this product, as in why you why you said that they just they kind of want to keep it to themselves because it's so precious, it's you know, um, it's like gold to them. And um here, you know, we we may not be able to travel to a blue a blue zone, even to visit, or much less to live, you know, in such a cool place, but this is the way to have it brought to your front door. It's it just blows my mind, and I I'm just growing in more and more gratitude for for this product and in the company and and the care that they take with it to be able to, you know, let us have it in our in our homes for for our families.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely, it is a blessing.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. And I did want to share with you, um, my daughter has been, you know, needing to um regain her health. She's been borderline diabetic and overweight. Well, since she's been with us, she's lost 70, over 70 pounds, and not having sugar, because when she did, she would get dizzy, and she's just like, I need to take my life back, I need to take charge here. And so she would exercise and walk, and she was tired a lot, you know, part of that detoxifying I think that you were talking about, but we were able to just let her, you know, rest and help her out with the the little ones, and and but what what has happened? She's had um kind of spots on um in her vision. Not that I I can't see it in her eyes, but she just fine has found that there's some spots there. And as she's losing this weight, I thought you know that the body would have gotten rid of that. So what what do you think? Do you have any thoughts to share that would help, you know, point us in the right direction with with her eyes?

SPEAKER_01

This may sound strange, but in traditional Chinese medicine, anything to do with the eyes treat and support the liver. And uh it it does make sense when you understand the mechanisms involved. Uh the liver does a lot lot of things, it supports a lot of uh our organs because of what it makes and manufactures, and one of the things it manufactures are the various sterols and lipids and things that the nervous system uses. And uh in hormones, uh our steroid hormones are you know made from sterols, cholesterol, things of that nature. So um the liver is is what you you support, and she's probably after losing that much weight in a stage of liver detox and maybe a little stuck and needs that some little support boost, and that's where the olive products could come in because there's a lot of gut and liver support, and so as a side effect of that, nervous system, brain, etc., uh, and of course eyes uh all begin to respond over time. Um, one of the things I caution people is do not expect. Expect your body to turn around overnight. We have an uh immediate gratification type society. I think we've been programmed to think, you know, you take something, you get immediate results. A drug can do that, but a drug doesn't work with your body. And in some ways, it makes it more challenging for your body to achieve balance and achieve good health. So it's always better to support your body through the process. And that's a little slower because the body doesn't get disease overnight. It doesn't become the toxic burden isn't created overnight. It's created on a daily basis over time, sometimes over decades. And so then the disease process can take decades to manifest. And so instantly turning it around is not the way that works. Now it took eight to twelve weeks minimum to just restore the mechanisms. Once the mechanisms and foundation have been restored, now the body can begin to make those changes. So it can take, you know, a few months, but uh you're headed in the right direction. And the things that help are exactly what your daughter is doing: eliminating the sugar, getting out in the sunshine, going for a walk, uh, you know, keeping the diet really clean, that kind of thing. That's all really good, and people need to pay attention to that because we're we live in a time where you know everything that's that's approved for us to consume, uh there are thousands of things that are approved here in the United States for us to consume that are illegal in places like Europe, uh Russia, these places that uh you know recognize that this is going to destroy people. Yeah, for some reason here, I think it's money. I think that you know uh our system is kind of based on money, and so uh industry can buy people up. And I think that happens on a massive scale. And I think that's the reason that we are forced fed things that we shouldn't be. So we have to take control of that in our own lives. You mentioned the organic apple and how it was completely different. I just watched this morning a guy that said that he would buy at the store different things, uh like celery and lettuce and things, and he used to put them out, you know, for the raccoons and the different and they had the year, and he said they're not eating it anymore, so he bought organic ones and they eat it.

SPEAKER_00

Oh wow.

SPEAKER_01

But they inorganic ones they're not eating because the animals can tell it's not healthy. That's just sad.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and then you add in there the GMO, it could be GMO, and and they just have that sense to know. They know that. We and you know, the Bible talks about that, you know, pay attention to the animals, watch the animals and and learn from them. And oh, thank you for sharing that. That's that's a wake-up call to us humans. Oh my goodness. I have one more situation. Um, my husband has um poor, I I guess I would call it poor circulation, and his his lower ankles to his feet are purplish and veining, and um is that um could Ole Apple help with that as far as circulation and uh I don't really know. It's I guess it is a little swollen. Um what what would you recommend in that situation? I've I've given him some um specific enzymes that that are supposed to help um with proteins and but um what's what's something that would help that?

SPEAKER_01

Well something of that nature could be the ideology, could be many things, the cause could be many things, uh could even be related to blood sugar. I don't know if you've had that checked.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Um but one thing again, uh you support the liver and the gut, and you help build those normal sterols, then the cell membranes get more resilient and flexible, and the thing with blood sugar, uh, type 2 diabetics, that's about 80 to 85 percent of diabetics, is a cell membrane problem. The body has enough insulin, but the cell membrane's no longer receptive to the insulin. So the receptor sites for insulin are no longer insulin's no longer unblocking it so that the glucose can go into the cell, so it stays in the blood, and that causes uh inflammation in the peripheral circulation and peripheral nerves, can affect the feet. You can get neuropathies and you can get circulation issues. Um could be that. Um there's other things it it could be. Okay. Um yeah, I would actually go out daily walk would help. But the oleabo would actually help support the nerve function. And through that help support normal membranes, which helps support normal blood sugars and normal inflammation levels. So kind of gives you an idea there.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, thank you. I appreciate that. It's it's so encouraging to have an answer, you know, when there's when there's a situation, and and I'm I'm just really grateful and and thankful for this product and for you being a voice and sharing. And so I'm my hope is that this podcast will go where where people um are looking for those answers and and maybe have tried a lot of things and been disappointed and um just just try. But what did the Lord say? Throw the net on the other side of the boat.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and I believe based on my journey as well, and the journey of other thousands of people that I've I've seen, the the body has the ability to restore itself if given the right ingredients, and actually you do take care of it. So you eliminate the things you need to eliminate, things like processed foods, the bad oils, the fake fats, things like that, the sugar, all of that, eliminate that stuff, meat oils, all of that, and start supporting it with healthy things. And the body was intended and created to be well, to be vibrant, to be healthy. And if we just pay attention to that, uh the body, I call it as I said the last time, miracle was in. So miracles can happen, but you have to support the mechanisms that are behind those miracles, and that's what we're doing.

SPEAKER_00

Hmm, wonderful. Does the the product work better when you consume it with food, or is it okay to take it on an empty stomach? What what's your experience with that?

SPEAKER_01

Because it is food, it's okay to take any time. So uh the body will just deal with it like food.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I take mine pretty much on an empty stomach, usually. I want the full benefit.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. So maybe someone with uh, you know, maybe for the taking it for the first time, if they know that they're kind of sensitive to things, maybe maybe they could take it with food and to and then kind of wean off and and take. Okay, okay, very cool. Well, thank you, Dr. Jerry. This was this was wonderful and just appreciate you so much. Thanks for being on the podcast today.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you, Tanya. Really enjoyed it myself. Thank you so much.

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm. Bye bye.

unknown

Bye bye.
