We figured we would just do it all in one. So we are going to break down finals weekend. We're also going to give a little look ahead to the Miami Open. Of course, we had the some very interesting semifinals. We had Alcarez take on Medvedev. Let's start there. Alright. I don't think anybody was quite expecting Medvedev to play as well as he did and beat Alcaraz. It's been the Alcarez Cine show of late, of course. Um, however, I think we just didn't expect that to see what we saw. I was very glad for Mehdi that he did win. Um, of course, he did not um make it past Yannick to win the title. However, great, great effort considering he wasn't even sure if he was gonna make it to Indian Wells, let alone play the final. I just think that that is Stella. They're all in a league of their own, let's be honest. Um, of course, we had the other final, which was Sasha Zwerev and Yannick Sinna. Sash, like I said, and I'll say it time and time again, I think he is the best player who is currently on the men's tour who hasn't won a Grand Slam, right? There is plenty of capable players, but in my opinion, Sasha has all of the elements that you need to win a major title to win a Grand Slam. Um, unfortunately, that hasn't happened for him yet. It obviously did, it depends on the player. You know, it took quite some time for Del Potro and Andy Roddick as well to win their um, you know, there are single single Grand Slam titles that they won. Um, it really just depends, but I do think that Sasha has quite a lot of the makings to be a Grand Slam champion. So it's unfortunate that he didn't make it through to the final to be able to um progress to an Indian Wales title. However, he did have a great match, and obviously that set up a final between Medi and Cinner. Um, of course, today bringing that final. Uh Cinner winning the championship um and getting that win over Medvedev, but all in all, a great performance. They'll now both, of course, turn their heads to Indian Wells, uh, sorry, to Miami, which is also a Masters 1000 um HP 1000 title. Uh, same on the women's side as well. So that's something for everybody to look forward to. That starts on Tuesday the 17th. So, of course, qualifying and everything is already happening. They're literally back to back, which don't ask why, but that's just the way they have it in the tennis calendar, from one side of the country to the other within a few days, adjusting to different climates, sort of going from desert climate to, you know, warmer tropical. Very interesting. But that's how it's done, and that's what they do. Um, but in saying that, on the women's side, there were some really, really wonderful semi-finals, um, which set up the final between Sabalenka and Rabukana, a repeat of the Australian Open final. Now, guys, obviously Elena Rabuckana won the Australian Open. Um, and Sabalenka was not only looking for her first Indian Wells title, but she was also looking for her first um win over Rabukana in quite some time. Um, and just to kind of do that, you know, just shive a couple months later, not even, like two months after, um, is really cool as well. So, of course, men's Yannick Sinner, women's arena Sabalenka, they will now go off to uh the Miami Open in good momentum, in good form. Some other news, unfortunately. Um, today Djokovic has pulled out of the Miami Open. He will not be playing, uh, citing a shoulder injury. So we'll keep a close eye on that. Um, Coco Goff as well has had surgery on her uh forearm based on some information released recently. She will also not be playing uh Miami. I keep going to say Indian Wells because I've been so used to saying that for the past two weeks. Um, but she will also not be playing Miami, and you may see some adjustments um or some change-ups uh as it happens, but the schedule will be out tomorrow. Um, and then the sorry, the draw will be out tomorrow, and then the schedule will obviously come out um in the next couple days. Of course, there is quite a few um American wildcards. If you guys checked our socials, we did post that the other day who the wild cards are. Yes, Venus Williams does have a wild card. Again, here we are with the conversation of Staton Warinka not having a wild card, um, and several other American players, of course, having a wild card, which that's what happens for those of you who are unaware on our home soil. Usually, so for example, the Australian Open, that's why you see so many more Aussies in the main singles draw, um, because they're Australian on their own home soil. It's the same for any tournament in the US, any tournament in Europe, Wimbledon, etc. Uh, that's just how it rolls, and that's how it goes. So, definitely quite a bit happening in the tennis world. We are gonna turn our attention now to the Miami Open. Tomorrow we will have a Miami Open full pre-show for you guys. Um, we're gonna talk some pretty cool things, what's happening around the grounds, what you can expect. I can't believe we're talking about the Miami Open again. I feel like I just wrapped content on that, and that was obviously a year ago, which is crazy, crazy to think. Um, but here we are at the Miami Open, saying goodbye to Tennis Paradise for another year. It really is Tennis Paradise the most amazing tournament. The players love it, the fans love it. We had record attendance levels this year, which is absolutely crazy. Um, we like to put some of those numbers and some of those things in the description so you guys can go and check it out for yourself. Uh, but other than that, it has been a great tournament. Everybody got through it mostly unscathed. Um, and of course, it was a celebrity spotting tournament as well, as I usually are. Um, so we look forward to giving you guys more coverage and more updates from the Miami Open. But for now, we are going to leave it there and we will check in with you guys tomorrow for a pre Miami update. Bye guys.
