Today we are bringing you all the results from the All England Club. The results, the upsets, the biggest stories. We are so glad that you're joining us because day three and four have delivered everything that we love about Wimbledon. We've had dominant performances, amazing comebacks, and some surprise-shocking exits. Several players beginning to look like genuine championship contenders. The first week is always about surviving and advancing, and as we move towards the third round, the tournament is really starting to shape up. Let's get into all the action. Alrighty, so let's start with Novak. After a slightly shaky opening match, the seven-time Wimbledon champion looked far more comfortable during his second round encounter. The movement was sharper, the serving improved, and the confidence was beginning to return. He even brought back his jokes to side side court. Djokovic knows better than anyone that Wimbledon is often won during the second week, and his experience of these courts continues to make him obviously one of the most dangerous players in the draw. The Serbian is chasing yet another Grand Slam title and once again looks like he is going to make a deep run. On the other hand, world number one Yannick Sinna also continues to impress. After some early nerves during the opening round, Sinna has settled beautifully into his second round match and is beginning to look like come increasingly comfortable on the grass. His movement has improved, the serve is working well, and his ability to absorb pace and turn defense into attack makes him one of the most complete players remaining in a draw. As we head into the third round, he looks pretty cruzy. French Open Champion, I love saying that. French Open Champion Sasha Zwerev defeated Valentin Royer 616376. Zwerev won nine consecutive games during the match and completely controlled the opening two sets. Although Royer fought back during the third set, the German reclaimed and remained calm in the tie break to secure his place in the third round. Alex Dimino, Alex Diminor produced one of the strongest performances of a tournament, defeating Adrian Manarino. Manarino has been around for forever and a day. He never seems to want to quit quietly. Of course, no one does, but he always always puts up a good fight. Dimino getting through 6-3, 6-2, 6-2. Following the match, Dimino spoke about simply surviving the opening week, and with several seeded players already eliminated from his section of the draw, a genuine opportunity may be opening up. Australian tennis fans were all certainly on watch. In other news, Taylor Fritz continues he's run, quietly put together a very impressive opening week. He has not dropped a set. The American defeated fellow countryman Patrick Kibson, 62-6275. Fritz has always enjoyed the faster conditions on grass, and his serve continues to be one of the biggest weapons remaining in the men's draw. He may not receive the same attention as Djokovic or Sinner, but he could become a serious contender as the tournament progresses. Remember, we have seen him in a final of a Grand Slam before. Of course, one of my favourite stories and the emotional story of the day belonged to none other than Grigor Dimitrov. After his heartbreaking injury exit last year, Dimitrov returned to Wimbledon, determined to make another run. He defeated Rising Czech star Jacques Menzik. 76467563. The victory meant a great deal to Grigor and the crowd certainly appreciated the moment. Dimitrov remains one of the most popular players on tour and his experience on grass could make him a dangerous opponent moving forward. We also saw Tommy Paul getting through as well against his opponent. We also saw Matteo Berrettini getting through over Arthur Fills to set up a third-round clash with Grigor Dimitrov, the Battle of the Pritties, I guess we're calling it. I think they may have played once or twice. I haven't remembered many matches of them playing each other, but that will be sure to be a very interesting matchup. We also, of course, had umge Aliasim making it through, Flavio Kaboli, Medvedev, Karen Busta. Quite a few. On the women's side, defending champion Iga Swiantek delivered one of the performances of the tournament. She defeated former World Number One Caroline Bluskova, 6'1-6-3. After a slightly slower start to the tournament, Switek now appears completely comfortable on the grass. I'm starting to lose my voice again, guys, so please just ignore that. Amanda Annasamova survives a thriller. Perhaps the match of the tournament so far on the women's side came between Amanda Anasamova and Sophia Kennan. They've played a couple times in the last couple of months. Amanda winning this time 6-7-7-6-6-4. The match featured momentum swings, huge serving, and incredible shot making. Anasomova fired 20 aces and somehow found another level late in the third set to advance. It was dramatic, emotional, and exactly the kind of match that makes Wimbledon so special. Elena Rabakana, former Wimbledon champion and current Australian Open Champion, continues to quietly move through the draw. She has looked composed, powerful, and extremely comfortable on grass. Many people are talking about Switecks, Sabalenka, and golf, but Rabakana's experience at Wimbledon could prove crucial as the tournament progresses. Do not be surprised if you see her in the semi-finals. We also have seen Sabalenka making it through, Osaka making it through to the third round. Mira Andreva falling. Of course, she won the French Open just a few weeks ago, and she is now out of the main drawer. Ben Shelton and his early departure. The margins are getting smaller. They are sort of moving closer. We are at the round of 32. So let's take a look at some day four. Some other day four results. Madison Keys making it through. Francis Tiafo making it through. Flavio Caboli against Duckworth. Noskova against Resorio. Struff against Nakoshima. Now that was four hours and 21 minutes. It's a long match. Minar against Friendly. Kimberly Beryl falling to Sostia. Mata Kostiak making it through. Might I add her dress is just divine. We'll do a full recap on Wimbledon outfits towards the end of the of the podcast series. Lahechka Unmulkin. We had some pretty good, good, good, good options. And um we also did say goodbye to Nick Kyrgios in the doubles. That is probably he said the last time he'll play at Wimbledon. Of course, Maya join also falling as well. Looking at day five as we look ahead, I thought, let's take a look at day five. We've got Brindakesh and Djokovic first up on Senna Court. Number one court, Kazakina and Osaka. That'll be an interesting one. Brooksby and Sinner, Lee and Goff, Fonseca, Safulin, Pagula, Bozes Monero, Hubie Herkaraz and Tommy Paul, Bensik and Kellen Skya, Struff and Medvedev, Muchova and Swansky, Alexandrova and Eva Zhovic still in the competition. They'll face off. Devidach Vokina will take on Fustavic. Barbara Krashevic. Obviously, she took out Mira Andreva. She'll take on fellow countryman countrywoman Bartakova. Then we have quite a little bit of doubles action happening. Let's see here, really quickly. A lot of doubles action, and today also in action um Serena and Venus. So let's definitely keep an eye on that. Day five is shaping up to be a pretty good one. Of course, we're thinking that Djokovic, Sabalenka, and Cinna will all make it through. The others, I guess, we will find out as we progress for the day. Um every match seems to be bringing Novak, though, better and closer to the tennis that he is used to playing. Um, matches to watch, matches for day five, Yannick and Broxby. Novak Djokovic. Um, yeah, we've we've said it all, there's plenty of action for day five. Um after four days of action, the tournament is beginning to reveal its true contenders. Novak Djokovic is building momentum. Yannick Sinna looks increasingly comfortable. Aga Sviantec is reminding everyone why she is a defending champion. Alex Dimino is carrying Australia's hopes on his back. And Wimbledon is once again proving why it remains one of the most unpredictable tournaments in tennis. The grass excuse me, guys, the grass is becoming worn, the pressure is increasing, and the second week is now within touching distance. Thank you so much for joining me for another episode of Off the Court. I'll be back with a day five breakdown from all of the biggest matches, the upsets, and everything to look forward to. Until then, I will see you guys next time. And remember, this episode is sponsored by Air Allo, so make sure you go and check them out.
