SPEAKER_01

Hello, greetings to my small and loving podcast family. Whoever is listening, welcome if you are new here. I am trying to, I really want to find a new way to welcome all of you rather than saying the traditional hello and welcome, da-da-da-da-da. I'm just like so not, you know, um like others. I am a very unique being, as everybody is, but I don't want to say the same thing. And I realize that I kind of got roped into being part of the hello and welcome. And maybe that's just a traditional podcast beginning, but I'm going to come up with something new for myself because it's been kind of um, I don't want to say annoying, but it it's it's something that's been not feeling in alignment to my being. So greetings. I love saying greetings. I feel like it's a little different. Not that many people say it. Um, and I'm going to just give loving greetings to anybody out there who is here with me today, all over the world. I've got about four other countries, maybe five, um, that are listening. And so that really just actually, you know, when you look at the statistics, um, the stats, right, on anything. I'm not one to do that, but when I do, which is maybe once a month, I might get a notification and then I'll just kind of peek at it. It really does help the creator of whatever you're sharing with the world to keep going. It it gives you just some feeling of that others are listening, even if it's only a few people, right? Um doing this because this is something I enjoy doing. I'm not necessarily doing it to get attention or to, you know, get so many followers or to make money, you know, like that kind of thing. It's not about that for me. It's just about that I brought children into this world that are going to be here a lot longer than I am. And I want to make a difference however I can. So this is something that I enjoy doing. It's like a little project of mine. And so that's why I'm here, y'all. And I have things I enjoy talking about and that I want to share and that I think are beneficial. So um today I have I'm doing things a little differently. Um, my studio that I use was not working because I think they changed some things around, or I know they did, because when I opened it, they told me, oh, we had we created this and this is new and this is new. And then I went to go in the studio and it didn't even work. And I'm like, okay, I am gonna do this totally just old school recording from my iPhone. And I've done that before when I've been out and about, and I almost wanted to do that today and just go into nature and record, but I'm still in my studio here in my home, and so I am going to light some sage right now and start our journey together, which, like I always say, probably won't be too long, but we will see. I just lit some sage, some white sage, that my daughter's dad grows, and I get some from him. I've I've gotten some cuttings and planted them in various places I've lived, and I have very little right now. I have just a little smidgen down in a pot of my many pots that I have around my home. So burning some sage, and we're going to talk about the samadhi within us, moving closer every day. So I will get into samadhi and a little bit about what that means. As you know, or if it's your first time here, I am reading from my blog that I write in Substack. I'm actually going to start putting it on my website and maybe get away from Substack a little bit. I just don't spend enough time on there, and I just feel like there's not enough readers, and I'm not like giving it the energy to kind of. I mean, I've got some. I think there's like 65 or something readers that I have, or subscribers, they call it. It is nice, but I really, you know, should concentrate on my own website, and that's like an area that's not getting any energy, and it really should be because I pay for my website and I've had it, and I need to be putting energy into it because that kind of has more of everything that I do on there. So that's my goal. And I will link that, it should be a link actually in the description of my show notes. Please check it out. It's a work in progress. So, have you ever noticed how the trees, the clouds, the waters of the world ebb and flow naturally without needing our recognition? Okay. Nature is utterly complete at all times, confident, changing through the seasons, always transforming, always there for us, predictably present, so still, yet gently moving each day in and out, and appears to be contently at peace. So this description is us. That's us, humanity, that is, you know, we are connected to nature, and I believe that that is the description of who we are and how we are supposed to be living our lives. So sharing more of oneself may seem like a way to build bridges, a way to keep communication flowing, a way to this or a way to that. When we are always, though, busy trying to translate our feelings, we may get lost in the weeds of the mind or the fastness of our culture. I'm learning that sometimes silence is best when all else fails, and I've like said so much, and it's just like you're hitting a wall, right? It's like I've said this, I know I've communicated this, I'm doing the same thing over and over, and I'm not getting any results. So falling into the abyss of oneness within the quiet solitude of peace of what is there inside of us. Compulsion to share is the ego's way to keep going, the spinning of the image that you are to be seen, which is what you've learned or inherited. Childhood may have taught us to stand up for what we need or to shut down completely. This leads into relationship attachment styles, how we relate to others. Okay, not just our most intimate relationships and our family, but on a more subtle level, how we're relating to strangers, even. And this is something actually I heard um, I think it was just this last week, about it was probably a podcast, and I don't think I listened to the whole thing, but they mentioned, or maybe it was gonna talk about this in its entirety, how the way we interact with strangers says a lot because that's really like who we are, and that's energy that we're giving out and that we're receiving back, and that we're even like maybe teaching on some level to those we interact with throughout the day, and that's something that I want to really embody more and you know, kind of tap into is just, you know, we think that others aren't important, that only our family and our closest friends and relationships are all that's important, and many of us are treating life that way, and you know, honking at others when we're driving and like not noticing people, not making eye contact when we're on a trail and we pass somebody by. You know, I mean, many times I walk alone, um, you know, hiking and and I'm on trails, and there's a lot of times, most of the time, there'll be people that are also alone. Sometimes they have their dog, sometimes not. And I have said hi, you know, hello, or tried to make eye contact. And I tell you, 80%, I don't know if I like that that number, but it's it's around 80% of people do not acknowledge you. And I, you know, I don't take it personal, but it's sad. And I feel like, okay, well, maybe they had their ear pods in, maybe they couldn't hear me, you know. Um, I mean, I I'm not saying that I'm never in that mode because I can be in that mode too. And there are times I don't really have my my AirPods, I can't even find the freaking um charger right now. So I haven't used them for months. But um I'd like to, you know, I think it is nice to listen to something when you're walking, but even if you are just making eye contact or or just an energetic kind of motion, like to acknowledge somebody when you're walking by each other on a trail, you're out in nature and beauty, you know, and you're two beings, you know, on a similar path, on a journey here on this earth together, and you're you're exchanging energy as you walk by one another. Why not be friendly? That's something that I notice like almost on a daily, and it's it's pretty sad, and and I just feel like as humans we have like so much to work on. I wish that I wish that we would, you know. Um, but anyways, I'm getting off track. So this may be something I discuss as I learn more and I will share soon. Without space, there's only noise. Living quietly, letting life unfold as it may, listening to the quiet within, this sacred space between. Okay, the sacred space between is precious. This is what is known as samadhi, the samadhi experience. The eighth and final limb of Patanjali's Ashtanga Yoga, where individual consciousness unites with universal consciousness, aka superconscious perception. I love the word perception. The Sanskrit word samadhi means the total concentration of the bringing together of all that is. Okay, all that is, becoming completely liberated from self, from the ego, from who we know that we are, who most of us are walking around in that identity. Samadhi is most often associated with what is experienced in meditation. Those who meditate more will feel this liberating experience more. When you drop in and you really can get out of the mind and you get into that real inner peace where you're not hearing all the noise. And that's a place, as you've heard, or if you do meditate, you know, where you can really feel a different kind of presence and a different oneness to what is beyond us and to our higher self, to God, to higher consciousness, um, and where we get the greatest insights and knowledge come from. And that space that's in between, that's just like the nothingness, that is samadhi, where you just feel like this void, this, you know, and it's just like yeah, it it's it's something that that um is very hard to keep, you know, unless you're a sage out in the middle of nowhere that is just, you know, meditating like 24-7, um, a Breath Arian, you know, or something that you know, you're you just you're addicted to that feeling and you just want that and nothing else. And there are there are some out there I hear like that in other parts of the world, not around where I'm living, but um, you can imagine, right? There's extremes on all level out there. As we become more with this higher self or God through meditation, we feel prajna, insightful wisdom. The samadhi is an absorbed state of mind of a meditating person, true inner peace of the highest level of existence, pausing to remember that our energy emanates out to others. Okay, so if we are meditating, if we are practicing meditation, we are getting into the samadhi experience, we are releasing all stress, we are releasing like all tension in our bodies, and we are completely surrendering. We are not only gaining knowledge, but we are also bringing peace to ourselves within, and that is bringing us into a more peaceful, calm energy and being. We're going to walk every step of our day in that, and that is going to emanate out. Others are going to feel that, and that then transforms others to just you know feel that without even going into the meditation. They are feeling the essence of it, and it is helping to transform the world and creating more balance and all the negativity and all the war and everything that's out there that we don't want, right? So, where are we going and where did we come from? Where we are going and where we came from. We all want to know this, right? Especially before we die, to have some kind of understanding, to have some kind of peace of who we are, of where we might be going when we're no longer breathing on this planet. Universal love is operating in effortlessness, moving through everything as life just happens. Modern minds feel the need to have constant noise and words that can ultimately cause utter confusion, spinning cycles met with pure stress. Pure stress. I know I have. I was taught that I have to or I'll fail. When I am not controlling the situation, I feel out of control per se. What about letting go? What about pure trust in spirit? Who am I really? I am a breathing being walking this earth. I am connected to all energy. I know that. Notice how when we hold our breath, we feel constraint all over. And when we let our natural breath flow, we feel at ease. It's simple. Yes, slowing down, consciously breathing, and trusting the process of why we are here, we really the only way to let truth be told and consciously guided to the next growth experience. Without our breath, we would not be here. We would not be alive. So listening and being in tune within, breathing in the way through. This is proven scientifically as well, y'all. Okay, so our breath is what connects us. Being grateful for our breath, we would not be here without our breath. Being in tune with our breath will bring us that natural calm and it'll get us into that deeper samadhi experience. Meditation brings peaceful bliss, insightful knowledge, and reverses aging, if that's your thing. Yes, this has been proven now. So samadhi experiences are simply a way to shift our perspective into a deeper knowing that there's something greater. A way to feel more connected to higher self, strengthening the inner knowing into what's separate from Babylon-driven culture. Seeds stay underground until they're ready to bloom, quiet and unseen until the right timing just happens naturally. So then, why are we trying to control everything that happens? Are we not also a part of nature? So, in my substack, I put a photo that a friend took of me in Fairfax here in Marin County. Um, there's this passion, there's a lot of passion flower that grows around in Marin, but there's this one fence that has this passion flower plant that's just always like blossoming out into the sidewalk. And I was showing him, and he took this picture, and um, it's one of my favorite plants. It's a plant that brings you peace, that helps you to calm your mind, and really is something that everyone should try. Passy flora or passion flower. It's a beautiful, beautiful flower, too. So there's a picture of it if you check out the Substack. So, yes, we fucking are and happy to be. Okay, that's stemming off of being a part of nature. So we are part of the Passion Flower Plant. Okay, we are connected to all plants and living beings. So what people see is not you. What others see is their own interpretation as in a mirrored reflection. Who is seeing through me? Ask yourself that. Who is seeing through me? I just want to be one with what is unadulterated by humanity for profit. I choose to be closer to nature every day. Plant medicine for health and well-being is here for all if we want it. Um I'm getting a little segueed, but the interpretation part, the mirrored reflection, and what we are actually seeing, you've probably heard that it's all an illusion, right? There's a lot of research being done on this as well. And I heard a podcast yesterday, um, one that I listen to quite often. Um, I'm not, I don't think I'm gonna put a link to this this particular episode, but I think it's the latest episode that he had, and it was talking about AI and the AGI, and how you know we only have a few years before AI is completely fucking taking over our existence, basically, up to maybe four years max. And it's pretty interesting what's happening out there. So there's a lot of division, AI is causing more division, and this um scientist was saying that. He believes strongly that it's all in assimilation. It's like we're all in a video game. And that our culture, our society is an assimilated reality. Now that's fucking out there, right? But could it be? I mean, I have always said that I'm open-minded and anything is possible. That's just another observation. I mean, it was kind of crazy, especially for the particular podcast and the podcaster. He was kind of like, I could tell he was kind of blown back too. I mean, he knew who he was interviewing, but it was very interesting and um yeah, a very interesting perception for sure. Um, so you might want to check it out. I'm just going to mention, if you're listening, it's the Know Thyself podcast. I listen to it pretty much weekly. He's got some very interesting guests. And um, if you want to know really what's happening with AI, um, I think the actually the guest he might have had last week as well was talking about AI. So I know he's had a few on there. And it's not all about AI, but sometimes he will, you know, because AI is changing things as we know it, right? So it's good to kind of know what's happening. So, anyways, don't have your head in the sand. I hope you don't. But on with what I am specifically talking about today. Here's a pro tip on samadhi experiences for getting easier when we let the plants speak to us. Okay, so I'm all about how can we enhance having certain types of experiences or healing, right? Like if we need to heal something, there's so many different ways. You always hear about diet and exercise. Yes, of course. But plant medicine is so vast, and there's so many attributes that each plant gives us, and so it's like endless knowledge, and just thinking about that in itself, it's like okay, the plant kingdom is here, all right? It's here for a reason, it's obviously here for a reason to help us as our friend, as our ally, as you know, bringing us knowledge, insight, yes, but also deep healing to every single wound and ailment that we can possibly imagine. That is good news, okay? And so there's some essential oils and flower essences that I listed in my substack. So I will put a link to that. And these are powerful plant medicines that bring a subtle yet profound healing to oneself, especially the flower essences I'm speaking of. They're they're a subtle energetic healing that they bring to our emotions. Each remedy can be used alone or in synergy with others. Now, that is true for essential oils as well. I really love the synergistic effect of different plant medicines working together. Nowadays, people are getting into what is known as a stacking effect, where you use one medicine on top of another. This is similar but also very different. The initial combining of plants, okay, like blending, as in a tea, for example, alchemizes the properties in such a beautiful way. Think of making a gourmet recipe with different spices that complement one another in such a way that your mouth smiles and so does your entire being. Okay, so Flower Essence Services, also known as FES, they are actually a local company, pretty local to where I'm at now, or where very local to where I used to live, um, here in Northern California, and they alchemize an amazing blend that I found called Peaceful Passage. And it's a spray, so you can just spray it in your mouth or on your body like a couple times a day, and it offers compassionate support for the soul's journey through transitions. So a harmonizing blend of flower essences plus essential oils to cultivate peace, courage, and acceptance, illuminating the sacred passage between life, love, and spirit connection. So this is a handcrafting of a synergistic specific remedy of flower essences, each offering distinct vibrational support. So I listed, I'm gonna go through a few of them here. I think there's like probably like 10 or 12 different flowers, and some of these are toxic. I looked up a few that I didn't know about, and it didn't surprise me because with homeopathy too, which is a different modality of medicine, but homeopathic remedies as well as flower essences, they are used on a very subtle level. So they are not like taking your, you know, regular herbs, um, you know, vitamins, you know, teas, tinctures. It's very different. So I've never actually made flower essences. I know somebody that did and learned how to. And I believe the process is like you put these flowers and you like float them in water, and they just kind of like sit in the water, and maybe they're supposed to sit under the sun in the water or something for a certain period of time. You like maybe mix them just a little bit, and there's just like this very like subtle process, and then I don't know if it's like you have to shake them around or something for a few days, but they're basically just you're not heating it or anything, and it's just this subtle kind of transfusion that goes in, the energy will go in to the water from the flower, and then of course, you strain off the flower, and then you just have the water. So, usually it just tastes like water, you barely taste the flower, and you just use a few drops, and it's just but it's so potent, and these work with your emotions, and there's hundreds of them. And you may have heard of the rescue remedy, it's a very popular combination from Bach Flower Remedies there on the East Coast, and that is used for you know, any kind of like stress, anxiety, any kind of trauma. It really helps to help regulate your nervous system. And this is another um combination, a remedy called peaceful passage flower essence formula from FES. So they're in California, and I'm gonna mention just a few. There's alpine aster, these are flowers, which frees the spiritual body from fear and attachment to the physical form. Angel trumpet supports the spiritual passage and unites the heart with higher love. Bird's eye Gilea fosters a sense of being seen, understood, and supported by the spiritual world. Chrysanthemum shifts awareness toward the eternal higher self. Forget me not expands love beyond the boundaries of life and time. And Mariposa Lily invokes nurturing, divine presence, and maternal comfort. So that's just an example of like half of the flowers that are in this remedy. You can imagine like how amazing this would help you to feel if you're having any kind of difficulty relaxing or getting into that deeper samadhi experience. And then there's essential oils that I listed that I believe would be beneficial for helping you go deeper into relaxation and in your meditation practice. So I will mention a few of my favorites. Okay, we'll just do sandalwood, which is known to help you focus, increasing attentiveness, so we are able to remain mentally alert while meditating. Some people get kind of sleepy, so you want to, you know, not fall asleep, but kind of keep just enough focus. And it also helps to bring forth a sense of inner peace. So I put to please choose a sustainable source because sandalwood is precious and under threat. Um patchouli. Patchouli is known for its calming, balancing, and grounding properties, and it's awesome, blended with sandalwood, vetiver, elang y lang, rose, or cedarwood, or all of the above. I have to mention frankincense. Uh frankincense is derived from the Boswellia tree resin, a versatile oil prized for its woody aroma and many therapeutic properties. Boswelia is used for pain, so it's a great anti-inflammatory, and aids in creating a calm meditative atmosphere, relieves stress and encourages deep breathing. Highly precious and very expensive, as is rose. I mentioned rose, which helps alleviate feelings of grief, anger, and nervous tension, as well as complete bodily wellness. Very, very potent medicine, and it's very, very expensive. Um highly precious, highly precious. Um, of course, it smells the most amazing. And what else do I want to mention? There's there's a bunch of them on here. You could check this out in my Substack. Palo Santo is something I burn every morning. Traditionally, it's used in rituals and by shamans to clear negative energy. It is a wood, the Palo Santo wood, and it removes bad vibes, similar to sage, promotes positivity. The scent reduces stress and anxiety, and it creates a peaceful environment ideal for meditation and yoga. And of course, white sage for burning anytime we feel a need to cleanse the spirit, to let in more light and calm the bad vibes. I'm going to leave us with a quote from Rumi. The great master Rumi. Silence is the language of God. All else is just poor translation. That's something to think about. I'm like, um, okay. Okay, Rumi. Um, that's yeah, that's just something. Let's just let's just all ponder that. I I could say a few things about that, but I'm not going to analyze. I will repeat it though. Silence is the language of God. All else is a poor translation. So too many words, too much trying and pushing and communicating, and of course we need to do some of that. We're we are living on this planet. But do we need to be doing it as much as we are? Is it really helping us? How do we feel? So I really appreciate you for being here. If you stuck with me, of course it ended up being longer than I always think it's going to be. I will catch you in a couple of weeks. I am going to be, I have to push myself to do this because it's been way too long and I've been settled now for a month. I'm going to start releasing yoga videos again. I will start doing that next week. I'm going to do it every other week on the weeks I'm not doing the podcast. So it'll probably be a similar like half hour to an hour. Usually the podcasts aren't an hour anymore, but um, I think the the yoga videos will be like 30 to 60 minutes. There will be a meditation also in the yoga video. And I really look forward to doing it. What I'm really excited about is I'm going to make a playlist for each one. And I will have a link to the playlist in the video. This will be on YouTube. And then the playlist, I mean, on Spotify, I'll have the playlist. So if you want to just listen to the playlist on Spotify, it'll be on my Spotify. But then you can listen to the playlist while we do the yoga, and I will be doing a voiceover for the video. So you will also have my voice added to the video. Although it's not going to be live, and yeah, I'm not going to be doing um my talking through the video. I will add it afterwards. And so you will hear me. We will do the yoga together, I hope. And then you can watch it anytime. All right. That's my project that is soon to come, hopefully, next week. You all take care. Sending you so much love wherever you are. Blessings.
