Create with Me: Lessons from the Digital Frontlines
Digital Reality Check
The digital revolution isn't just changing how we communicate—it's fundamentally reshaping reality itself. As new content creators harness AI, machine learning, virtual reality, augmented reality, and what experts now call "extended" or "mixed" realities, we find ourselves living in something resembling The Matrix. Yet behind every digital innovation stands a human creator, driven by our timeless desire to express and connect.
For content creators—whether individuals building personal brands, businesses establishing online presences, or professionals sharing specialized knowledge—this digital migration represents both challenge and opportunity. The key isn't simply acknowledging that technology exists, but understanding how to use it meaningfully. While establishing a digital footprint has become essential, true success comes from a balanced approach: venturing into the physical world to gather authentic experiences, then bringing those insights back to our digital communities.
Many express legitimate concerns about privacy and data collection, but retreating into technological avoidance isn't the answer. We've moved beyond the information constraints of previous centuries. Today's reality centers on what we do with the abundant information and tools at our disposal. When you share authentic perspectives online, you'll often discover others thinking the same thoughts—"I was thinking exactly that!"—creating moments of connection that build genuine community. Throughout this period of unprecedented technological acceleration, I've committed myself to helping others navigate this complex digital landscape because everyone will contribute to our collective digital future. How will you use these powerful tools to find your community and make your unique contribution?
Yes, we have a lot of new content developers out there creating different vehicles for expression within the AI, ml space, and you know all things virtual reality, augmented reality, even what they call now extended reality or mixed realities, all these types of realities. They say these terms because we are living sort of in that matrix period, but, at the same time, guess who creates these realities? Human beings, people have an appetite to create and express themselves right now because they want to connect with each other. So, as a content creator, whether you're an individual or you're a brand or a business or wealth management professional that wants to share their insights this is important because people are moving to digital. Okay, they're moving online so that people have a presence there, but does that mean you stay there? No, you have to go out into the real world to bring this information back. But you also should not be ignorant that technology does exist. So it just depends on how you're utilizing technology and digital media, social media connectivity, how you communicate with it. That matters. It's the how, it's not the what. So much all the time.
Speaker 1:I know we're all worried about big data, but I think that's already been happening. I'm not sure, but we need to live in like the days that are not the 1800s. We're not like in the bunker anymore. Okay, we're not like in the middle ages. Information is readily available to you. It's what you do with the information. It's what you do with the tools that are at your disposal. You'd be surprised how many people will probably relate to your opinion, and often, if you say it, someone's already thinking it and they're like oh my God, I was thinking the same thing, wow. And then you like, find your community. Like that. We're living in a hyper growth period of time with technology, so if we're not all communicating with each other, how can you find your community? I did this because I know that this is the only way I can help people learn how to navigate the digital landscape and its intersection with society right now, because everyone is going to contribute to this world.
