Bethel was supposed to be the house of God, but Elijah and Elisha walk into a place filled with scoffing, idols, and a forgotten spiritual legacy. That tension drives the question we cannot dodge: if God parted seas and sent fire in Scripture, why do we talk like miracles, healing, deliverance, and the power of the Holy Spirit belong to the past?

We trace the Jordan crossing in 2 Kings 2 and Elisha’s audacious request for a double portion. We connect it to Jesus’ promise of greater works, then bring it straight into modern church life: a culture that normalizes evil, churches tempted to settle for comfort, and believers who rely on yesterday’s revival stories instead of today’s obedience. We also address the “hard thing” Elijah names and why the real challenge is learning to receive from God directly, not from personalities, platforms, or spiritual nostalgia.

Then we head to Jericho, the “pleasant city” with poisoned water, and unpack what compromised preaching and lifeless Christianity do to a congregation. Elisha’s answer is not a new gimmick but salt in a clean vessel: the pure gospel, the uncompromised Word of God, and lives set apart for a fresh anointing. If you feel called to go deeper than shallow religion, this message is a wake-up and an invitation.

Welcome And Message Setup

SPEAKER_00

Hello, welcome to Valley Gospel Church. We are a non-denominational Pentecostal church located in Springdale, Pennsylvania. Our sole mission is to present the living truth of a risen Lord, Jesus Christ, to a remnant church and a lost world. So let's go into the service recorded live at Valley Gospel Church.

SPEAKER_07

Come on, Christy, early start. As I said, this comes from a message probably in 2022, 21, maybe.

Bethel’s Fall And Modern Idols

SPEAKER_07

I don't remember completely, but it's about Elijah and Elisha. And these two prophets come to the city of Bethel. Bethel means the house of God. It was a city of great spiritual significance. Jacob offered his sacrifice there. It's in Bethel where Jacob wrestled with the angel that turned out to be the that he was wrestling with God. It was in Bethel that Jacob's name was changed to Israel from Conman to Prince. Wow. And if you remember that message about Jacob a few weeks ago, but over the years the city had changed. Jeroboam had set up the golden calf in Bethel. The people began a long slide into idolatry. And understand this, idolatry isn't just statues or paintings or things that we would genuflect toward. Idols are anything that we treasure more than God. That's an idol. And as a result, an entire generation had been lost to skepticism and scoffing and mockery. Of a great spiritual heritage. Things were so bad that people mocked Elijah and Elisha when they arrived in Bethel. And look, the Elisha was shocked at the backslidden condition of Bethel, the mockers and the scoffers. And we know that Elijah had his own dealings with mockers and scoffers, right? And that was at Mount Carmel. But that was a cult. He was dealing with a cult. These were supposed to be believers that they came back to. Hardened, so hardened in their lack of understanding and their unbelief, even hard, even harder than the godless priests at Mount Carmel. Elijah asks Elisha to pastor these backslidden people. And you know that was such a revelation to me to realize that my pastorship isn't confined to this building. That it's the people that we meet on the job, it's the it's the people when we stop for coffee in the morning, it's the pastor, the pastoral duties are much broader than a small group of people. And Elijah asked Elisha to pastor these people, and realizes what Elijah knew all along, that he needed more of the Holy Spirit to do a greater work. And he needed that extra measure before he could face down this evil, this wickedness in front of them. So the two of them go on this Holy Ghost journey, and that is where our message begins today.

Elijah And Elisha Cross Jordan

SPEAKER_07

And that's in 2 Kings. 2 Kings 2. We'll read 6 through 14 this morning. Whenever you get there, would you please stand in reverence to God's word?

SPEAKER_00

And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray you, hear for the Lord has sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you. And they too went on. And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off, and they too stood by Jordan. And Elijah took his mantle and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided, hither and tither, so that they too went over on dry ground. And it came to pass when they were gone over, and Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for you, before I be taken away from you. And Elisha said, I pray you, let a double portion of your spirit be upon me. And he said, You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me, when I am taken from you, it shall be so unto you, but if not, it shall not be so. And it came to pass, as they went on, and talked that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder, and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof, and he saw him no more, and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back and stood by the bank of Jordan. He took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? And when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither. And Elijah went over.

SPEAKER_07

What an account. But how does it relate to the modern church? How does it relate to you and I today? And just to give you the quick cliff notes, God tells Elijah his ministry on earth is done. He's going to cross the Jordan, go to a certain place where a chariot of God is waiting to take him to heaven, his eternal reward. Amen. But first, he and Elisha must take this trip. They have to complete this journey. And when they arrive at the Jordan, Elijah takes off his mantle, his prophet's gown. I should have, yeah, cloak of. I don't want to give you the wrong image here that he was, this was just his cloak with the hood, and he takes it off, strikes the water, and the two walk across the Jordan on dry land. When they reach the other side, Elijah asked Elisha, What can I do for you before I go? I'm leaving. Probably pretty happy about that. What can I do for you? And Elisha says, Let a double portion of the Spirit be on me. Elijah responds, You ask me a hard thing, and we're going to explore that today. If you see the chariot, if you see me taken up, if you can see into God's kingdom is the point, it shall be so. If you don't see this, it won't be. Elisha sees Elijah being taken up in the chariot, but the mantle drops from the chariot back to the ground where Elisha picks it up. Elijah picks it up, puts it on, returns to the Jordan, and does just as Elijah had done, smites the water and they part just like it did for he and Elijah. This incredible, powerful, awesome account begins Elisha's own remarkable journey in ministry. But this passage, and this is the part where the message that he gave me some years ago, this is where it parts company with that, because it relates it to now, to here. A clear, simple message that God wants to do greater things in our lives than he did in the lives of our parents or those who came before us. And that's not just it. Amen. Hallelujah. In each successive generation, with our own measure of the Holy Spirit, wants to do more in Josh and Josiah and Jason and Jacob's lives than he's done in yours and Joanne's. That's his business. That's what he does. A higher reception of the power of the Holy Ghost. Now use for a subject this morning, a double portion.

Why We Stop Expecting Miracles

SPEAKER_07

Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you, Lord. Sorry, Lord, for the long introduction. I so appreciate what you've entrusted unto me, Lord, and I'm in such awe and reverence that you would entrust your word to a dumb landscaper like me. Lord, help me to rightly divide your word of truth. Let it be a lamp and a light. It is in the name of your blessed Son, we pray. Amen and amen. Please be seated. Help me, Lord. As powerful as it is to read about the Lord's parting the Red Sea, or this spectacular passage from 2 Kings, or all the manifestations in the book of Acts. Why do we hesitate to ask God or expect him to perform wonders in the here and now? To open a blinded eye, to heal a sick body, to provide a miracle when it's needed. And you know, we talk about the great deeds, but it seems to me that we limit them to a past and bygone age. You remember when we were and how the Lord would move. Yet, the Lord, we know the Lord desires for us manifestations of power, miracles, healings, deliverances, more of his power, more of his glory, more of his spirit in us. More than anything we've witnessed in the past, more than apostolic times. You know, I rise up in correction whenever I talk to someone, especially when pastors tell me, oh, that's all ended. That's all gone away. That's past. And I rise up because he wants to enlarge our faith. So like Elijah, we can glimpse his kingdom and we can ask boldly for a double portion. A double portion. Understand, in this Old Testament reading, Elijah is a type of Christ. Amen? And think about this. He ascended into glory, he's received by the Father, much like Jesus when he went to be back to heaven. Do you remember Jesus' words to his followers, to his disciples, when he said, Greater works than I have done shall you do, because I go to the Father. Glory, glory. You see the correlation there between this and Elijah and Jesus. He speaks these words not just to those people that were present, he speaks them to every generation from Pentecost until now and beyond. Why? Because look, I don't think it's any mistake that we will need a greater anointing than those who came before us to be in the times that we're in. Because we face greater evils. You will need more of his power. You will need more of the manifestations. And by my spirit, the Lord said, You can have all you want, all you need to be my witnesses. You can have everything you need to be my witnesses.

A Dark Culture Demands More Power

SPEAKER_07

Back to Bethel for just a minute. Before Elijah is translated into heaven, he takes Elisha on a training mission to a place where wickedness abounds. Trying to teach him. Where wickedness, think about this, where wickedness has become commonplace, where idolatry is the norm, where evil and lust have taken over. You know, we too live among scoffers and mockers, not only in our world and on the job and our families, and sadly in our churches. And this generation, I believe, is worse than anything Elijah or Elisha ever faced. I believe we live in those times. Church shootings, ten-year-olds raping five-year-olds, grade schoolers carrying guns, cutting down classmates, teachers, parents changing genders, killing babies because they don't like the gender of the child, police lured into situations and killed. This generation is the generation that is proud, disobedient, unthankful, unholy, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. But this day demands something from us as Christians. And it's not fight or flight or fear or flight. It's to receive a double portion of God's power and authority. Because we need a measure of the Holy Spirit such as never been seen. A holy remnant, a holy remnant must rise up in times like this and like Elijah, cry out, we need more. We need more. And you know, you get all the time, well, I don't want to be greedy and ask God for more of his power. That's one thing you can be greedy for and greedy of. Amen? Because the supply is inexhaustible. It just keeps coming. The more you receive, uh, the more the storehouse grows. That's not a concern. I don't want to ask God for too much. I don't want to overstep my bounds. There are no bounds when it comes to that. Hallelujah. It just keeps coming. His power grows exponentially. It grows when it's hot, it grows when it's dry. Teddy, it doesn't matter. It just keeps growing. Glory. Grows in the rain, in the light, or the dark. It bubbles up from the spiritual river that flows beneath Jerusalem, the Gaion, the angel's fountain, Jacob's well, into the spirit of believers, and out from our bellies shall flow rivers of living water. Glory! Glory.

Jericho And Lifeless Christianity

SPEAKER_07

Elijah and Elisha leave Bethel and they proceed to Jericho. And check this out. Jericho means pleasant city. Pleasant. But when they arrive, it's anything but pleasant. Jericho is barren, it's dry, it's lifeless, the water supply has been poisoned, and there's no life, there's no crops, there's no fruit. Jericho, and here's where we kind of part ways with the old message God gave me because of the revelation. Jericho represents a lifeless faith and a lifeless Christianity. Jesus actually describes this type of Christianity in the book of Revelation, recalling from our study. Let's just look at it. Let's have a peek at it real quick. Keep your finger in in 2 Kings, but just go to Revelation 3 and 1. At first blush, you'll you'll look at this and go, well but and unto the church of the angel at Sardis write these things, saith he that write, saying, He that hath the seven spirits of God and the seven stars, I know thy works, that thou hast a name, that thou livest but art dead. But art dead. So Jesus calls out that same group amongst Christianity. It's in Jericho that Elijah established years earlier the school of the prophets, a Bible college, that Elijah began, but it's not the same. Elijah and Elisha visit the school, and the young preacher asked Elisha if he knew that Elijah would be taken up that day. Elisha recognizes that even though these young men were students of the word or supposed to be, there was something amiss. Because they were talking down to him. Yeah. Yeah, we we get this vision of preachers being all he tells them to shut up. These were the preachers that were supposed to be sent out across Judah, building schools, churches, preaching the word, but they lacked the power. They lacked the authority, the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the authenticity. It was all intellectual. You see, that's what's happening today. It's all intellectual. How do we know that? Because after Elijah is taken up, Elisha relayed the how and what to these preacher boys. They wanted to go. And look for his body in case the Holy Spirit chariot wrecked. These are preachers of the word. In case the Holy Spirit's chariot wrecked, and Elijah was laying on a mountain somewhere. They needed to go check. They could preach and teach, but were ignorant of God's power. Hadn't experienced. Hadn't experienced it. Never known it for themselves. They were trying to be little Elijah's. Thought their anointing depended on Elijah. They lived on miracles of the past, trying to recreate Elijah's anointing with intellectualism, not knowing what the Holy Spirit wanted, not caring what the Holy Spirit wanted. And that he wanted to anoint and empower each one of them. That God had great things in store for them. All of them. They had their own anointings available, was the point. If they would just receive it. And you know the church today falls into that same category, trying to recreate past revivals through a church or a denomination, trying to duplicate a move of God. Brothers and sisters, God has for us fresh oil, new wine, uh, in vast quantities. And the anointing and power of God is new every morning. See, the power and anointing of God is like manna. That's what it's like. All we could ever need for any, for whatever occasion, whatever issue we're dealing with, but we can't stack it. We can't can it, we can't store it, we can't open a pack of Smith Wigglesworth when we need it, amen. Or a bottle of Azusa. You can't do it. It's new, it's fresh, it's unique for each one of us. Um can't open some Holy Ghost power when we need it. You gotta have it. You've already got to have it on board. Glory.

Fresh Oil Not Past Revival Stories

SPEAKER_07

I want to go back to Jordan for just a minute and examine why uh Elijah slapped the water with his cloak, with his coat. Uh I researched this geographically, and the Jordan wasn't deep or wide or very big. There's no indication that the water was high or anything. They could have waited across just about anywhere. It was like it was like Deer Creek. Could have got across just about anywhere. Was he just showing off? Watch what I can do. I believe he was showing Elisha that whether it was the parting of the Red Sea or or Joshua crossing the Jordan, that it had great spiritual significance, that it was a powerful thing. Uh powerful teachings and great historical events. But going forward, trying to tell them, I don't want you to be limited uh by the things, and you know my phrase, things that used to be, things that we used to do. Hallelujah. I know my old pastor weekly, weekly, would talk about the miracles that would used to happen, uh, the power that used to fall, how God used to move. And I would think, how cool is that? How cool is that? How how great that must have been. God did some great things back then. He'd tell about healings, how a person lost 50 pounds from the front pew to the back pew, uh, how his mother witnessed, who only knew Italian, witnessed to a woman who only knew Polish. She witnessed to her in tongues and letter to the Lord in Polish. But how cool was that a long time ago? About demons in the form of two dogs. George remembers the two dogs that showed up at the door inside the church and they were cast out. And years later, I understood that we cited the Eustace because we didn't have faith to believe God now for our own miracles, for our own healings. We relied on miracles of the past. Uh we spent all our time pouring over and extolling the mighty moves of the past. And I'm not exaggerating, that was a weekly occurrence that he would tell about all these miracles that happened way back then. Uh and the Holy Spirit was trying to tell us that he had something better for us now. Now, something better, more powerful. Uh I want to change your life. I want to change your ministry. I want to fix your marriage. I want to restore your family. I want to save your kids. I want you to experience the miraculous glory. We, you, may face deeper waters than the Jordan. You may face wider seas than the red. But he wants to part those waters for you. He wants to show you glory. Elisha crossed back in the same power as he first crossed. When Elisha asked Elijah, Elisha asked Elisha, uh, what can I do for you before I go? That wasn't like an I'll grant your wish. That wasn't what it was. And I know this is that's a what we read today that can get a little bit confusing, but it's not a it was the words of a teacher checking in on the heart of his student, seeing where he was. Uh, what would he ask for? Something personal? Something private, maybe so he didn't have to work anymore? Uh maybe to join him in the chariot? I don't know. I might have said, can I come with you? I don't know. Do you remember James and John asked Jesus, can we sit on your right and left hand when you come into your kingdom? I think it was akin to that. Uh seeing the evil of society, the task before him, the enemies that he'd face in the future, I couldn't blame him. Uh, but Elisha knew that God wept over Bethel, that he cried over Jericho. Uh he knew what the Lord wanted. He knew what the Lord wanted him to do. And he had to take the mantle of facing an evil society, a dead religion, a system, a system that was anything but godly, and he asked for a double portion. Give me more. Give me more of this. Oh my. God was calling him Elisha to mend the breach.

The Hard Thing And No Impartation

SPEAKER_07

Jordan, I'm gonna quote Rocky Balboa now, okay? Winning isn't how hard you can hit. Winning is how hard you can be hit and still keep moving. Glory, glory, glory. Elijah tells Elisha, you'll ask the hard thing. Hard for who? Hard for God? Hard for Elijah? No, it would be hard for Elisha. Hard for Elisha because he would have to receive it on his own. He would have to seek and receive more authority, more power, more glory, more of God's Spirit. Elijah couldn't give it to him. That's the point. Couldn't impart it. That's a doctrine that has invaded the church over the last 20 or 30 years. Impartation. That we can get something from someone else. Ma. The very idea that a human can impart divine power to another human, blasphemy. Blasphemy. Only God can impart his spirit to man. Alright, really revealing. Verse 10, back in 2 Kings. And this will, this will you'll appreciate this. And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee, but if not, it shall not be so. I know. This is that sounds confusing. If you have a King James version, you see those couple of words that are italicized? And what are they? Nevertheless, when and I am. So they were added to the, they're not in the original Hebrew text. They were added in the King James for clarity. And here's what I'm going to read this without the when and the I am. And here's what I believe Elijah said. Let me read it first. And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing. If thou see me taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee, but if not, it shall not be so. All right, let me try to explain as the Holy Spirit gave it to me. If you see this event as I'm being taken from you, in other words, if you're relying on me, looking at anything that I might impart to you, or anything that I have done, don't. Don't. If you're looking, if that's what you're looking to, if you're looking to a pastor, a priest, a denomination, a person to impart something to you, then you can't receive the double portion. You won't receive it. Elisha, I'm gone. Don't look to me. You no longer need me. You're ready. You're ready. I know, well, I don't want to bring up anything personal, but you know, I know over the years people have seen me as a little bit impersonal and why I don't have a lot of altar calls and lay hands on people all the time. And certainly I understand it's a godly uh call and what God's called me to, but I don't want anyone to ever think something's came from me. I can't give you anything. Yeah, I don't have it. Hallelujah. I can't impart it. When Elisha saw his teacher whisked away in a heavenly chariot, he knew then that it was passed to him. It was his now. Amen. The mantle of Elijah. His teacher was gone. And listen to what he cried from the banks of the Jordan. I seek the God of Elijah. Not I'm looking for Elijah, I seek the God of Elijah. Work through me, Holy Spirit, work through me. That's his prayer, that's his cry. And Elisha crossed the Jordan the same way he and Elijah had crossed originally. This time, just he and the Lord. And they head back to Jericho, the pleasant place that's barren and dead. 19. Where's my watch? Oh, I got time.

Poisoned Water And Bring The Salt

SPEAKER_07

Two and nineteen. And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of the city is pleasant as my Lord seeth, but the water is not in the ground barren. Poison in the water. Poison in the water. What does what is water in Bible type? One, another one. The water of the the water of the word. Water of the word. Amen. So in Bible type, the water represents the word. The word was polluted. It was compromised. From the pulpits, in their homes, in their schools. It was causing spiritual death. Self-serving, lifeless, fleshly sermons. Not the word. Giving you our book reports, giving you what we're doing in our mission field. That produces no life. It produces no life, but causes spiritual death. Just two, two, three weeks ago, a young man told me on a Wednesday, I invited him to Bible study, and he said he had gone from church to church, and dead sermons had drained him of all spiritual life that he used to have before. And I I advised him that's not that's not surprising because it's what dead pastors and dead churches do. That's what they do. Once we get to a certain place, a certain comfort level, then we stop. We stop. No more manifestations, no more Holy Spirit, no more, no more searching for miracles. We need to stay safe because now we've reached a certain level of income. Show me a preacher that doesn't believe that God's word is infallible, a minister that doesn't rely solely on the blood of Jesus, a church that turns its back on the miraculous and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. I will show you a ministry that's dying. That's dying because poison water has infiltrated the pleasant city. Poison water. So what do we do with the pollution? We do exactly as Elisha did. Bring the salt. Bring the salt. Glory. Put it in with clean vessels. Clean vessels. Bring the salt. Salt is the purity of the gospel, the purity of the word. Not trying to twist it to fit our doctrine, but giving you the word. Good, bad, ugly, doesn't matter. This is the word of God. You don't like it, talk to my boss. Glory. Clean vessels, men and women, uh cleansed by the blood, sanctified by truth, prepared and unafraid to preach this pure, uncompromised gospel, calling sin and truth, truth. That's it. That's my call. Glory. That's the only thing that will stop the pollution. Pure vessels preaching a pure gospel under a fresh anointing. 23.

Mockery Judgment And Church Compromise

SPEAKER_07

And he went up from thence unto Bethel, and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city and mocked him. And listened to this little children, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head, go up, thou bald head. And he turned back and looked on them and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she-bears out of the woods and tear forty and two children of them. Hmm. Hmm. Elisha goes back to Bethel, and young men come out of the woods. These are teenagers. Maybe 12, 13, somewhere in there. And they come out to mock him, called him bald head. And actually, actually, they committed the unpardonable sin. That's a whole different sermon, but I'll just briefly explain. They attributed an act of the Holy Ghost, Elijah, caught up in the chariot, by telling Elisha he should have gone with them then. They actually made fun of the chariot and that Elisha, if that was real, why didn't you just go too? Because they suspected that Elijah was off hiding somewhere. There was no chariot, there was no rapture, didn't happen. And they were saying that this act of the Holy Ghost, this act of God, was actually magic. Some magic. And bears come out of the woods and killed 42 young men. Just saying. Just saying that view we have of this, of this, of this old grandfather who wouldn't hurt a fly. Huh? That's not the God we deal with. That's not the God who we serve. It was an act of mockery and blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. God was patient with the fallen fleshly church at Bethel, giving them chance after chance, prophet after prophet, finally sending Elisha with the double portion of the Holy Ghost to pronounce judgment. That's where we're at. And it's happening again. It's happening again with church leaders like, and I'll call names like Rick Warren, who are polling amongst unbelievers, to see what you want in the church. What would you like to see? What do you want us to talk about? Actually, polls and selling them in the purpose-driven church. And if you've read the purpose-driven church or any portion of that, you know I'm telling you the truth. They're trying to adapt to polling results of unbelievers. Now, instead of worship, churches offer entertainment. Instead of ministry, they offer mentors and counseling. Instead of the Word of God, we're offering a new age, how to grow and prosper for a remnant that in this day of sin, I thank my God for a remnant. A remnant that's going on with the Lord. Amen. Interceding, weeping over sin, grieving over wickedness in the world and the church, pursuing a greater anointing, more power. And yet, I don't know if you've noticed or not, the few people that I'll, the few pastors or ministers that I'll listen to, they're all preaching the same message, the same one. Glory. Judgment is at the door. But we need to take up the mantle of Elijah, proclaiming the word of the Lord. And there's still time, but it's now. There's still time, but it's not next week. It's not next year. It's now. That's the time. He's high and lifted up. His train fills the temple. Men and women of God now are coming together in spirit and in truth, even though the water has been polluted. Even though, and you know what they're doing? They're carrying salt. They're not trying to drain the pool or get a different water source. They're bringing the salt. Bringing the salt. God is gathering preachers, longtime preachers, short timers, even future preachers, like the Sons of Thunder. Glory, glory, glory. Not only at Valley Gospel, but elsewhere. And they're being trained and fortified to bring the truth regardless of.

Closing Invitation And Deep Discipleship

SPEAKER_00

Thank you for listening to this week. We pray it was an encouragement and a blessing to you. We invite you to listen to this week's worship service that follows and tune in for next week's podcast.

SPEAKER_01

There is a story in the scriptures about the converts of Jesus who were fishermen. And one day they were fishing in the shallow waters of the Sea of Galilee and had no success, not one catch. So Jesus from the shore calls out to them and says, Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch. And they knew that fishing in the deep waters of the sea were not successful. But they obeyed Jesus anyhow. And they launched out into the deep and let down their nets. And the scriptures say that their catch was so great that it began to sink their boats. That day it also says they left everything they knew. They left everything they knew right there on the shore to follow Jesus. That day they went from being converts of Jesus to disciples of Jesus. And that's what Jesus is calling us to do, to leave the shallow waters of Christianity and launch out into the deep waters of discipleship where our catch is freedom, victory, and healing. Deeper still, Steph.
