1 John: Light and Darkness
In this message, Pastor Reginald Johnson teaches from 1 John 4:1–12, reminding us that knowing and trusting Jesus is the key to discerning ultimate truth from ultimate error. John calls us to two things: to be discerning disciples who test the spirits against Scripture, and to be loving disciples who reflect God’s character through genuine love. True Christian love is never divorced from truth, and true discernment is never without love. As God’s children, we are called to display both—rooted in Christ, empowered by the Spirit, and assured of victory in Him.
