Thank you so much for those of you guys who are tuning in, keeping up with my podcast and downloading the podcast, whether you're listening on spotify or apple podcasts. Just thank you because I've been wanting to start this podcast since I don't even know, like maybe like almost a year, and I put my podcast on my vision board for 2024. So it's really crazy how, like, what I'm saying right now is going to like perfectly fit into like what today's episode is going to be about, because I've been manifesting La Patrona Community Podcast for a while and like for it to decently be doing really good for like not even a month in already. It's, it's amazing and it feels really good. So I just want to say thank you. But before we get started, in previous episodes I've mentioned that I've been working on a digital course to help you master UGC, and the UGC career vault is now available in my shop for $12. The UGC Career Vault is your ultimate digital resource for stepping into the world of user-generated content, and it's a unique digital product that you will discover a treasure trove of strategies, brand pitching, templates, real-life examples and secret tips that will propel your UGC career to new heights, because my first month I generated up to $5,000 using the same methods listed in the digital course. I'm really thrilled to be able to make an impact on your journeys through my digital courses. So for those of you who have already ordered, and if you happen to be listening in right now, leave a review or DM me how it's going for you, and definitely don't hesitate to reach out to me. I would love to connect if you have any questions about the course. I'm here and you're here to get into the bag, babes. So let's move forward with today's episode.
Speaker 1:Some people may not believe in manifestation, but I sure as hell do. It may sound pretty corny, but I do make a vision board every single year. It's not your typical vision board like the magazine cutout hanging it up on your wall type thing. I'm very tech savvy. I'm always doing something on my macbook, my imac, my iPad, so I make my vision board, my wallpaper, for every device that I own, because my devices are in my face on a daily, so why can't my vision board be too? So the way that I do it is I go on Canva, pull up a wallpaper format and start pulling images from Pinterest, lemonade, anything related to my goals in 2024. And I'm not lying. I'm looking at my wallpaper right now and I'm already seeing four things that came true off of my vision board and we are on month four of 2024.
Speaker 1:Oh my god, that's kind of crazy. Four things off my vision board, april, month number four we're in year 2024, 444. Wait, what does that mean in angel numbers? I'm gonna check it real quick. I really just googled this shit and it says love, support and guidance from your angels. Okay, I'm not gonna lie that. That's pretty funny, like I just really realized that just now. Obviously, if you hadn't guessed it by now, I'm very in tune with my spiritual and emotional side. My angel numbers are 222, so let me know what yours is. But yeah, I found it pretty crazy and pretty amazing that I've been manifesting all these things on my vision board and four of them have already come true.
Speaker 1:I feel like manifestation is a constant practice. You can't just manifest one thing one time and expect it to come true, like eventually come true, and that's why I feel like creating your vision board digitally is way smarter, because you're on your device every single day. Your vision board will be in your face every single day, which will be a constant reminder what you're working towards and manifesting isn't only your vision board. I personally really love words of affirmation. I will speak things into existence in privacy. Imagine if this really fucking happened. It's a daily reminder to help you achieve what you're working towards and keep your head in the game at all costs.
Speaker 1:So, when it comes down to manifestation, it also comes with goal settings, and you know what? The way I set goals is not only on paper, but I will make a task for myself every single day related to the goal that I want to achieve. When you want to achieve something personally, whether it's you or your career, you should always be doing something to work towards that goal, and it could be a five-minute task every day. It could be a habit that you're setting every single day. As long as you're doing something every single day to get you a step closer to achieving it, I highly recommend that you use the reminder app that's already installed in your iPhone. I'll literally like the night before, I'll do like oh hey, siri set a reminder for da-da-da-da-da, and I'll say a task that I need to do and that reminder will not get off of my lock screen until it is done. Getting to your goal isn't a guessing game, it's a plan, and when you plan comes discipline.
Speaker 1:Another thing is the way you voice your goals. Me personally, I love my privacy. It is nobody else's damn business to know what I'm up to, what I'm working towards, because I don't need a loco, I don't need the fucking eye. I can name so many times in the past where I've heard someone voice something and do nothing to work towards that goal. Like, please, do not be one of those people that makes announcements with no results. If you're gonna say, oh, I'm gonna do this because I'm so determined, I'd really want this, and then time passes on and whoever you told is like I thought you said you were gonna do this, you were so all about it. What the hell happened? It is a very powerful thing to work on yourself in silence, because when you do achieve your goals, it shows discipline. And here's the thing when you're working in silence, when you're doing something for yourself, not making any announcements, just results, I kid you not, that is the most attractive shit in the world, and you know what? I can't remember where I heard this, but someone said it and it really stuck with me Stop making decisions based on your feelings. Discipline isn't about if I feel like it. Discipline is. I'm gonna do it because I get to do it.
Speaker 1:I'm gonna read something to you that I found online this morning and it just came across my explore page on Instagram, but I'm going to read it to you. It says marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard. Starting a business is hard. Nine to five is hard. Choose your hard. Starting a business is hard. Nine to five is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy, but you can choose your hard and choose wisely.
Speaker 1:When I read that this morning, I was like damn. It also reminded me of a podcast episode from leo skeppy's podcast aware and aggravated by the way. Go freaking, listen to it. It's so good. I'm gonna see if I can remember this correctly. Leo skeppy said something along the lines of if you have a goal and that goal is placed right on top of Mount Everest, imagine what my body and soul would go through going up a mountain that big. Just to get to my goal, I'm gonna bitch and whine. Leo said either bitch and whine from the bottom or bitch and whine on your way to your goal, because either way it's gonna be tough. But but yeah, I wanted to share those quotes with you. It has stood out to me, it has influenced my journey so much and I hope it does for you too.
Speaker 1:I do want to start getting into the ins and outs, but before I do, I really want to say something. I want you to be very aggressive when working towards your goals. Growth is never linear and you're going to have a lot of those highs and lows, but just know that. Go full throttle. That's literally what this episode is all about. Anything that's not helping your progress whether it's a bad habit, maybe someone really negative in your life we're cutting it out. That's not part of the process, that's not part of your process, and we're going to start getting comfortable with saying no, because I've definitely struggled with this habit as someone who is self-employed.
Speaker 1:I am keeping myself accountable. I no longer have anyone else bossing me around. I'm bossing me around, for example, if my friends call up and they're like hey, like, let's go out. We're planning this, we're planning that, but I'm in the middle of work and you know what A bad habit was stopping what I was doing, not giving a fuck and just grabbing myself, putting on some makeup, going out with friends, having fun at the expense of my shit not getting done. By the time I get back, I'm stressed, I'm feeling guilty and now I'm behind on work. So there's a few things that played a role in this. Number one. I made a decision based on my feelings instead of holding myself accountable and, lastly, I didn't say no. I could have saved myself so much stress and worry, not being behind.
Speaker 1:Sticking to a routine is important when you're done with what you have to do and you feel satisfied with like, okay, like. You know what I did quite a bit today. I was pretty productive. I'm working towards my goals. I can take a break. I can go out with friends. There's a time for everything. That's why I do what I do. That's why I stick with it. No stress, no hassle.
Speaker 1:And you know what else is out in 2024? Being comfortable. Start getting uncomfortable. If you're too comfortable right now, I know damn well you're not growing. When you are at a level of comfort, you are not going to be growing, and the whole point is to find results, work towards results, and you're not going to do that if you're too comfortable. You have to be intimidated. You have to be challenged, get uncomfortable. That's the only way you're going to learn new things.
Speaker 1:I'm always actively going to be thinking about my future, but I definitely don't also want to miss out on the present. It's just a matter of balance. Keep yourself organized, form a routine and romanticize the process, because it's a really great thing to do something for yourself and for your future, but also enjoying the presence of it all. But yeah, that's business full throttle Manifesting your dream career goal, setting the ins and outs, and I really hope you enjoyed this episode.
