OTHP Short - all the way from LA ...it's Redd Kross
Hello again - it's been a while .... to launch series 3 of On the Huh Podcast - I somehow wangled 15 mins with the inimitable Jeff McDonald of the Rock gods Redd Kross... hailing from Hawthorne Los Angeles - a 40+ year career co-fronting the band with his brother Steve has led to a lifetime of music.
I had a catch up with Jeff at their Norwich Waterfront show recently where they were playing alongside The Melvins ... we talked about life on the road, getting established ( David Bowie was in the audience at their first proper show) we got into their writing process, and we talked about their "warts and all Documentary" which came out last year called "Born innocent - The Redd Kross Story". From LA (where Jeff was pals with Quentin Tarantino and where he dated Sofia Coppola ) to little old Norwich ..it's all here ...... enjoy
