Welcome to Mondays with Adam on a Tuesday. Just been thinking about you, so I wanna dedicate this on to you.

SPEAKER_04

Maybe I didn't treat you quite as good as I should have. And maybe I didn't love you quite as often as I could have. I just never took the time. You were always on my mind. You were always on my mind. Maybe I'll go strongly. And I guess I've never talked.

SPEAKER_00

That was uh the Michael Blue Blade version of Always on My Mind. We're gonna wait for it to end. There it goes, it's done. See you later, Michael. God bless you. Hope you're doing well. What's going on on a Tuesday? Taco Tuesday. Tuesday in Ohio. I don't know what day it is. It's July something. Things are going quite formally well for me. Let's see what's uh what's new in my life. Um let me think of something here. Not a lot, actually, just more of the same. We're working on a lot of cool things at the moment. And uh just encouraged by life. Kids are good, families are good, everybody's living their own little adventure. You know, life is an adventure at times. You never know, it's like a roller coaster you've never been on before. That's what life is. It's a brand new ride. There's no twist and turn, ups and downs, that goes fast, and maybe your laptop isn't completely insecure. We don't know. You hope it is. You hope the new guy fastened your safety artist correctly. Maybe he did, or maybe he didn't, but we don't know, we're gonna find out. But it's always something new, it's always an adventure, and I've just learned that we have to stay flexible, we have to stay nimble nimble, not overreact, not just react, but pause and contemplate or listen. We listen and do not judge. You know, just take it in, but then being deliberate on how you respond to situations, I think, is probably what you're supposed to do. A lot of people get themselves in the messes because they just react without thanking We call that thing. It smells your life up. So sometimes when you get approached by a situation or a problem, as they say. Sometimes you get problems in your life, you know, they just bring up like weeds. Problems are like weeds. The grass grows and so do the wings. You just gotta pick little problems out and throw some um weed killer on there or something, problem killer. I think you can get that at Home Depot. But you just have to make good decisions and moments. You know, because life I think is just like comprised of a series of moments. We don't have tomorrow, we only have now. We remember yesterday, but not all the details on it. But we can only decide what we're doing right now, and I think that's important. Um pretty philosophical today on a Tuesday. It's rainy outside, so maybe that's what it is. When it rains, I get philosophical or something. I don't know. Kind of in like a low song kind of mood. Just like I don't know. Trying to think of something I can sing for y'all to make you feel better about yourself or whatever. But this is one of my favorite Elvis Russia songs because I'm in a loving mood right now. I love people. I love my family, you know. I love most everybody I know. I mean I love everybody. I don't necessarily enjoy spending time with all everybody, but for the most part everybody's cool, you know. Trying to think. A few people, maybe not. I got a list, I got a short list, but I pray for them because maybe I'm on their list too. I don't know why I'd be on their list. Hopefully I'm on their Christmas list. But we'll see. But let's sing again. Elvis Presley, folks.

SPEAKER_04

Love me tender, love me sweet. Never let me go. You have made my life complete, and I love you so your heart. For my darling, I love you.

SPEAKER_00

And I always always gonna love. Until he doesn't, you know? Until he just stops. But anyways, that's a sad story. We won't talk about that part. What else is happening? Um, I haven't really been watching the news at all, which I think is probably the key to sanity. They say ignorance is bliss, and it can be at times because you don't you can't care about what you don't know about, or you can't think about what you can't hear about. So I've been just limiting my exposure to the news. Uh like if it's something important, something on hand on me. Maybe they'll post about it on the Facebook. Just trying to get things done. You know, I've I I looked at it in my life, I kinda like audited, audited it in my life. I just things that I do unnecessary that don't produce anything. And if you look at your day, we all have the same amount of time in the day or 24 hours a day. Unless I changed it. The last time I changed it was 24 hours. Sometimes I'm sleeping during those hours. But we all have the same amount of time. And all of us have the same opportunity to utilize that time. I think that's a really good thing. We can totally use all of the goodness out of every minute of time. And I've been really looking at my time, what am I wasting time on? Or doing things unnecessarily. Have you just ever been in that moment where you're like sitting down or and or standing up? Maybe you're just wine or something. You're just like in the corner of the room sitting Indian style for some reason. But you're just like doomsrolling on your phone. Video, video, video, video, video, ha ha ha ha ha, video, video, video. Back to that video, that video, video, video. And you just wait an hour. You wait forty-five minutes. And you just kind of shake yourself, you're like, do this rolling home. And you realize, oh man, I gotta be productive. You put it down, and then you start doing whatever it is you probably should have been doing 45 minutes ago. So I've just been kind of like watching myself. Making sure that I don't waste time. Obviously, we're gonna take some time to chill. We're gonna take some time to go play on the girl. We're gonna take some time to spend time on the we have to do those things on purpose. And so I'm just not trying to like do everything that I do on purpose so I can maximize my time. And when I'm with somebody, like setting in a social setting, to really focus on like eye contact, no distractions, listening to the words that are coming out of their mouth. Waiting for them to stop talking to my story, but to like interact with what's happening in their life in that moment and providing value. I think it's important that we may have the most of our time because it is so precious. And instead of wasting invest it in something that's beneficial. Invest invest it in things that will produce growth in your life. Because I think it's time to do that. And I also think it's time to sing one more song. Another one by Elvis Presley. Hope your Tuesday is wonderful. Um next week, we'll be back meeting you together here on the podcast. You'll be my special guest how about it. Interview you about your life and stuff. It'll be great. See you then, and have a wonderful rest of the week. God bless you.
