Welcome everybody to Mondays with Adam recorded live on a rainy, rainy. This is the lounge music. Imagine you're having a nice night out, you walk into a room with a candle lit restaurant. You get greeted by a major D. That's where we're not supposed to do it. That should have been dry cleaned a long time ago. It's got some shank on it. But you sit down at a nice table, and in the corner there's a guy playing the piano. He starts saying things like this. Though your heart is breaking. Smile even though it's breaking. When there are in the sky, you'll get back. If you smile. Smile and maybe you'll see the sun come shining through. Light up your face with gladness. Hide every trace of sadness, although I maybe ever so near that's the time you must keep on trying. Smile what's the use of crying? You'll find that it's still worthwhile if you smile. Just sitting there looking at everybody in the room all dressed up and trying to figure out what you want to eat. Maybe the waiter came over and read you the specials for the evening. I do believe I have the shrimp scan pizza. Sounds delicious. Maybe they pour you a nice glass of their house wine, which they got on sale at Costco earlier in the week and they're trying to blow it out. What a relaxing day. The potential is great to have a fantastic time here at this beautiful restaurant. Can't wait for my trips camping. Everybody gave the guy around. Let me go. And I love you so love me too.

And I always will. Looking around, everybody seems to be having a good time. Maybe you just ran out of bread. I'm still waiting on that shrimp scampy to show up. You're already on your like second glass of that Costco wine. But you're just having a good night. You hope the steak that you're about to order is as tender as that song was, you know. It'll be out soon. But in the meantime, the piano guy is still just rocking and rolling away. He's trying to make it into tips. He's playing a classic. It reminds you of that song that was in that movie Ghost with Patrick Swayze. And so you start kind of like humming to yourself the lyrics. Like so slowly, and I can do so much. Are you still my I loved your God speed your love to the sea, to the sea to the open eyes of the sea. Wait for me, wait for me. Come and home, wait for me. So slowly and do so much are still not. Also, God sweet that steak to my table, please. We've been waiting for twenty minutes now, and it ain't here yet. What a lovely evening you're having though. The steak finally shows up. It's wonderful. It's wonderful. It's wonderful. And you just think to yourself, this evening could not be any better. And then you hear this in the background. Which is one of my all-time favorite songs, by the way. I love this song. I've sang it like 15,000 times. Minimum. And if you know it, sing the other words with me. I see trees of green, red roses. I see them with you for me. And I think to myself what a wonderful word I see skies of heaven, clouds of light, the bright blessed days and the dark seeds. I think to myself what a wonderful rain, so pretty in the sky are also on the faces of people calling by. Cafe Lombac. No, we don't want dessert, thank you. Trying to lose weight. This is gonna be expensive. But we hear babies cry. We watch them. They'll learn much more than I ever know.
