Sanjiv Chopra: Author/Motivational Speaker (PART 2)
Dr. Sanjiv Chopra is an eminent and world-renowned hepatologist, best-selling author, and a motivational speaker. Dr. Chopra is a graduate of the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, a professor of medicine and former faculty dean for Continuing Medical Education (CME) at Harvard Medical School. At Harvard, he ran an expansive and robust program for twelve years, connecting with more than 80,000 clinicians in more than 150 countries yearly. He is also the Marshall Wolf Master Clinician Educator at Brigham and Women's Hospital and co-director of the CME Division in the Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Chopra is the editor-in-chief of the hepatology section of the online resource UpToDate, which is used by over 600,000 physicians worldwide. He has received many awards, most notably the Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 2012 and the American Gastroenterological Association's Distinguished Educator Award. Furthermore, Dr. Chopra has authored numerous books including Doctor Chopra Says, Leadership by Example, The Two Most Important Days, and Coffee: The Magical Elixir, and he is a sought-after speaker for conferences and commencements alike. He has also spoken on the TEDx platform.
