Clint Valladares: Musician/Talent Manager
My guest today is Mr. Clint Valladares. Originally from Mumbai, India, Mr. Valladares is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and the Senior Director of Global Engagement for the Middle East and India. Mr. Valladares played a key role in the expansion of the Berklee City Music Network since joining Berklee as part of the staff in 2009, building a network of organizations across the United States and Canada and focusing on delivering high-quality music instruction to children from underprivileged communities. He also co-founded the Berklee India Exchange in 2013 with the goal of establishing a platform for cultural exchange. Mr. Valladares has also worked as an artist’s representative; he had a significant role in the launch of Music Talent of Boston, a booking agency for the American Federation of Musicians, as the director of the organization. He has worked with domestic artists like musicians from the Boston Pops Orchestra, as well as international and Oscar-winning Bollywood artists like A.R. Rahman.
