Lowell Schnipper: Philanthropy & Public Health (PART 2)

My guest today is oncologist and hematologist and cancer researcher Dr. Lowell Schnipper. Former Clinical Director of the Cancer Center and Chief of the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the Beth Israel Deaconess, Dr. Schnipper has over 55 years of experience in medicine. He is the Theodore W. and Evelyn G. Berenson Distinguished Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a member of the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society. Dr. Schnipper is very committed to research in oncology, and his research has made significant contributions in cancer care. Furthermore, Dr. Schnipper has been dedicated to extending cancer care to underprivileged communities, as since 2011, he has worked with two hospitals in rural Zimbabwe on the prevention of cervical cancer.
