Nicole Uhre-Balk: Teacher/Politician
My guest today is extra special: from being my Science teacher for three years in middle school and a Biology and Computer Science teacher for over a decade, she has since been elected to represent District 32 in the South Dakota House of Representatives! A graduate of Bethel University and Black Hills State University, Ms. Nicole Uhre-Balk won a seat in the South Dakota House of Representatives this past November, moving one step closer to her goal of “balance through a stronger two-party system.” Ultimately, Ms. Uhre’s journey has truly brought “leadership from the classroom to the Capitol,” and I am thrilled to have her here today!
