“Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.” This is one of my favorite quotes from Carl Sagan. It introduces the mystery of science and the unlimited possibility of discovery. Today, I am lucky to have the opportunity to speak with one such detective: Dr. Michael Starnbach. Dr. Starnbach has been a professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunobiology at Harvard Medical School since 1995. He is the principal investigator of Starnbach Lab and has been extensively published in journals like Molecular Microbiology and the Journal of Immunology.
