Welcome back to empower your soul. I am here to talk today about my own mediumship demonstration that I had the day before I saw Teresa. Which incredible timing I just got to tell you. Incredible timing. I and the owner of the crystal mine who so that? Was that a crystal mine? The owner of the crystal store who she's like, did you plan it? Do you purposely plan the date before Teresa? I said no, I mean, not really. I had two days available. I could, we could book it, and Spirit told me to do the fifth. So I did the fifth. So so this was just a few days ago. I'm not quite sure where this is going to go. I'm going to let spirit lead me through this podcast episode, but um wanted to compare and contrast maybe a little. Let me talk to you about the night and maybe do a little bit of compare and contrast about, maybe, the Teresa. I don't know where this is going to go, so let's just roll with it. So so I have been doing events at um, this beloved, amazing crystal store, for quite a while Um, since almost a year now. I think February was one of the first events I did last year. It's a lovely space If you live in the central Massachusetts or New England area, so it's called a crystal mine.
Speaker 1:It's in Westboro, massachusetts. It's a beautiful store. 10 out of 10 recommend you going there. Not only that, but they sell a lot of crystals I have never seen anywhere else, and the energy and the vibe in this place is unreal. So it is essentially a medium's dream come true to work here.
Speaker 1:And I actually started here because I went to I don't know if I've told you this story before. I went out to brunch with some of my relatives nearby. I had some time to spare where my husband was watching the kids. I was like you know what? I'm going to go to a crystal store today. So I literally just hopped on my phone. I looked for crystal stores in the area and the crystal mine had the best ratings and it was not far away from me. So I was like, okay, so I'll go there.
Speaker 1:And then, when I arrived there, what's really weird about me is, didn't know, I was into the spiritual stuff, but I must have been at some point, because as a little girl I would drive by this location and it has the most beautiful windows and I remember being a little girl being like these are the most beautiful windows. That place is magical. So here I am, many, many years later, arriving, I'm like you got to be shitting me. It's this place. It's it's here, this place, that I've always looked at and said, oh, it's so beautiful. And I walked in and it's like it's like its own personal spa, like you walk in and the energy just cleans everything out and and it's beautiful and there's crystals everywhere and all of the amazing people that work there are the kindest, clearest, most amazing souls, so immediately fell in love with the space, asked them if they did events At the time. They were interested in finding a medium and, of course, the stars aligned. So I ended up meeting with the owner, jamie, and she loved me and I loved her. So that's how I started doing demonstrations there at a crystal mine. So mediums, if you are looking for a place and you walk in and you're like holy moly, this place is amazing, there's a reason you're feeling that way. Go ask, okay, go ask.
Speaker 1:So this is not my first radio here at a crystal mine. I haven't been there since October with I'm going to be honest with with the election in November and kind of how everything snowballed at the end of last year. I just energetically. It didn't feel right. So I haven't been here since before the election, which was planned. And I have to say it was planned and I'm kind of glad I took the break because I was taking some classes in between right honing in on my mediumship. So it was a you got to trust when, when your body says to take a break, take a break.
Speaker 1:So normally I can fit up to 30 people in the space and they clear out some of the racks. If you've been there, they clear out the back of the room. They put some chairs down. Normally it's, you know, it's usually a pretty full house. I've sold out there many, many times, so it's usually like 20 to 30 people that are in the back and then, for whatever reason, it was a lighter population of people that attended this event, which is totally fine. I'm not stressing about it. Spirit gives me exactly what I'm supposed to give. The people who are there are supposed to be there and getting the message. So it's perfect, it's perfect. So I believe there were 14 people there and it's about an hour and a half reading and then you can shop for crystals or I kind of hang around in case you have any questions afterwards.
Speaker 1:So how the night went none of my usual technical difficulties, nothing really wrong, although my daughter was homesick with the vomit bug that day, but otherwise it was totally fine. It was a totally normal, uneventful day showed up early, got to say hi, got to help set up, so it was like this really calm, chill, energetic vibe, which I loved. That, mind you, the spirits were bugging me all day and I had to tell him to scoot out a couple of times, which was totally fine. But it was interesting because on the drive there my sister-in-law helped me out by coming and taking some pictures of me. Thank you so much, ashley and she's.
Speaker 1:We were both talking and then, as I like, pull off the highway to go, hop on the back roads to get there. All of a sudden I'm just like Ashley. I said I feel like I'm getting hit on the back of the head. I'm like I feel pregnant. I feel like I'm coughing up like all this, like, like you know, really, phlegmy, gross coughs. I said like all this stuff is happening to me at once. I'm like I don't know what any of this stuff is. So we go, we do the show and then, one by one. All the things that I was feeling showed up throughout the night, which was always always happens, right, it's just really interesting to me, always happens, right, it's just really interesting to me. But there were some really great messages that are pulled through. I'm asking my team they're like it's okay to share. So we started with one.
Speaker 1:So just caveat here for all of you that are mediums and all of you that that are love mediumship and go to these events, the first spirit is always the hardest to place, because the first spirit is the one that sets the tone and the energy of the place, not only the first spirit, but also, like the person that it lands on to. So a lot of it really helps, I'm going to say set the energy. So the first spirit is just generally a little more difficult to read to the than the rest, just because you are building the momentum, you're kind of setting the expectations with the crowd and then, once you landed, it should go okay. And then, once you're in that mediumship vibration already connected to spirit, you can tend to ride that out for the rest of it. So, as usual, the first, the first reading, was a little tough to land. No one could really take this person that came through and I'm totally blanking on what the spirit was, but it took a while and then a person eventually claimed it. We were hopping back and forth between like two or three people, it just didn't feel right. And then one person finally was like I think that one's mine. So we were able to land that spirit and he was really funny and it was just really dry the energy, which is total, which is fine, that um.
Speaker 1:But as the night went on, I think people got a little more comfortable. People opened up um and the messages were incredible. The, the messages that came through were incredible. So we had a departed dad that had popped through um and he came, came in just looking like this I you couldn't, I couldn't mistake him Like he was just like bigger guy, short ball, like bald or close to it Passes, really tragic. And suddenly so I was able to kind of describe the spirit and these two girls were there and they were. They were his daughters that had come to the show and he had died less than a month ago. He had died right after Christmas.
Speaker 1:So we were able to deliver some amazing messages and evidence for them that he was in fact on the other side and they came because they had not seen any signs from him and I called that out. I said you have been looking for him and they're like, yes. And I said but here's the thing, because he died so recently, you're so heavy in grief it's hard to see those signs. I said, and your brain is already on overdrive, like trying to protect you and protect your energy and deal with this grief. I said it's just going to be harder for it to raise the vibration and like be able to see the signs. But I gave her some tips. I said listen for music. He was a big music guy and then I was like but here's some proof that he's around you.
Speaker 1:I said what's with the flower? And in my mind I could see like one flower and usually as mediums or at least maybe I'll explain my thought process a little bit when spirits, I often see multiple clairs or feel multiple Claires at once. So when I see or feel multiple Claires at once, I know that there is a story behind it and I need to really feel into the energy of it and understand. So it's not just the picture, it's the story behind it. So an example that happened later on in the night is I could see a woman standing in front of a whole bunch of heads that seemed to be like in a classroom. Like in my head it looked like a mosh pit, but I knew with my clairsentience, my knowing or my feeling, sorry it was. Yeah, with my knowing. I'm not going to use the Claire names. I screw them up all the time I could. I even though I could see a whole bunch of heads staring up looking at her and what looked like a mosh pit in my head, I knew she was a teacher and I don't know how I knew she was a teacher. It was just like I could see all the people. But then I felt teacher. So I was like so this woman's a teacher. So normally multiple Claire's will hit it once to help me understand the message, but in this instance I just saw one flower in my head. There was no feeling with it, it was just this flower. And apparently the this woman had an orchid that hadn't bloomed in four years and it's bloomed in the month since he passed. So it was like so there you go, so there's the evidence that he's around.
Speaker 1:And the other daughter had changed her hair. I could see a triangle or a delta sign. I guess is the way I want to say it, because it wasn't just a triangle, it was a delta sign, which I use all the time in my you know, in my real my, the muggle job that I had right, I would use the Delta sign for change. Um, and I was like change. And then I looked at her hair. I was like, oh, okay, so spirit made me look at her hair. So okay, so you've changed your hair. And apparently he always gave her shit for always changing her hair and her hair color, because it was wild. I loved the hair color, by the way. So we were able to give that amazing evidence for these girls that their dad is not stuck, because that's not no such thing. He is safe, he is on the other side. So that was wonderful. I loved that. We had some other amazing readings. We had some tragic readings, some huge healing that need to happen.
Speaker 1:I don't know how much I want to get into it, because I just want to tell you come to the next event, because it's amazing if you're local, but I have to tell you one of the stories that blew my freaking mind at this event, and this has never happened to me, but it was insane. So let's go into it. And I got to post this on my social soon too. What you may not know about being a medium is that spirit will choose my clothes. They will choose my clothes on the days that I'm taking readings, like one-to-one readings. They will choose my clothes for events. And the way they choose quote unquote choose my clothes is that I had to try on five different outfits until I figured out what was the right outfit for me, because I would put on the clothes and I felt very uncomfortable and I'm like, okay, this isn't it, this isn't it. I like I looked okay, wasn't it? Wasn't it, wasn't it. So I ended up wearing one of my old skirts from work and then some heels and, you know, a white undershirt and my pink blazer, my bright pink blazer. Mind you, I haven't worn this pink blazer since I left my corporate job in June of last year, so it's probably been about eight months, I don't know. Do the math, I don't know Eight months or so since I've worn this blazer. But put it on felt right, cool, let's go.
Speaker 1:So I'm reading this departed dad about three quarters of the way through this event and suddenly, in the middle of this reading, I feel my pocket crinkling and I'm like what is in my pocket? And I try to ignore it. And the way spirit works through me is they'll just make me do things like I. My brain does not even register and I'm doing something, so my brain doesn't register. But I'm reaching into my pocket. Even though I'm trying to ignore this, I'm reaching into my pocket to see what is crinkling in my pocket. If I were even wearing this blazer for multiple hours at this point had no idea anything was in my pocket. So I reach in and I pull out a lifesaver and it's, and I and I just laughed to myself.
Speaker 1:I'm looking at this lifesaver in front of this audience and I'm laughing to myself because I'm like of course there's a lifesaver in my pocket, because there used to be lifesavers in the bathroom when I worked in Boston. So I laugh, I put it down on the table next to me and then spirit immediately moves my hand to go pick it back up and I was like what is happening? And then I held it in front of me and I looked at the woman whose whose dad came through and I said what, what is with the lifesaver. What? What evidence is this for you? And she just busts out laughing and crying at the same time and she said he used to carry lifesavers everywhere and this daughter hated lifesavers. And I'm like, are you fucking kidding me? And I'm like, are you fucking kidding me?
Speaker 1:So we all, the entire audience, erupts into this wild laughter and I make this joke about this is physical mediumship? Right here, this is what physical mediumship is. That he knew that I would be wearing this freaking blazer eight months from now and he made sure that before I left my job I put one more lifesaver in my pocket and hung that thing up in my closet and haven't looked at it since. Like this is physical mediumship. So I took it, I gave it to her. I'm like this is, for you, a gift from your dad. And she's laughing. So I mean it was the most insanely wild thing that has ever happened to me and and my witchy group that kind of told that story to.
Speaker 1:It was a really good question, because one of the women asked she's like how did he know? Like did he know eight months ago that you would be there in front of that audience? And I'm like he absolutely did. But there's no time in the spirit world, right? So, yes, he knew that would still be in the pocket and that's why I felt so uncomfortable, over and over and over again, to wear the right clothes.
Speaker 1:And in the middle of being uncomfortable, not choosing the right clothes, I saw the picture of that blazer in my head and I'm like fine, I'll wear that blazer. It's fine, it's perfect. It's like it's the week before Valentine's Day. Sure, I'll wear my bright pink blazer. So they knew, and they knew exactly what to do to make sure I ended up with that blazer, with that thing in my pocket, so that I could have that moment, that moment, and deliver that incredible evidence to this daughter that your dad is still around you. And here's the lifesavers that he would always give you. How wild is it?
Speaker 1:And here's the funny thing I tried to record that session and the my computer like ran out of memory. So I missed that recording, like, like. And that's totally fine, because I think that's the magic of going to these events is that you never, ever know what's going to happen. And you know that's easily top two most ridiculous things that'll probably ever happen to me, right by mediumship. But it's just how amazing, how spirit works through you to deliver these messages. I mean everyone, all 14, right People that attended that walked out of there with, like, their jaws dropped because of not only that message but the other messages, and I'm not like, I'm not, it's not me, I've just learned the language of spirit.
Speaker 1:It's the messages that their loved ones are delivering through me, me as the conduit, so that I can make sure they know how much their love by their, by their loved ones on the other side, how much they're still with them. That that, yes, it's real, heaven's real. Here's the signs to look out for. And and everyone walked out feeling, I think, full, like in terms of their heart, and full in terms of hope, feeling full and hope and full in love. And that's exactly what I, different than I feel with most of my mediumship nights, and I'm going to be totally freaking honest with all of you, because not every night is a slam dunk with with evidential mediumship demonstrations, with every reading, and it hurts because I want to be and do my best that I can do, and not every night goes that well.
Speaker 1:And when you have the wins, oh, you got to celebrate the wins, you got to feel good about it, you got to be like thank you spirit. More of that, more of that, more of that. But not every night is like that. So I don't want to. I don't want to pull the wool over your eyes and be like it's a circus. Come, come see me every single time.
Speaker 1:But, um, but I'm really proud of myself because more often than not, I leave demonstrations wishing I did better, wishing the messages were stronger, wishing that I could deliver more messages, and I walked away being like I'm proud of myself. And that is a really big hurdle for me and I as a medium, you know, because we are our own worst enemies. We are so hard on ourself for this work and we are constantly beating ourselves up for doing. Why didn't I do better? Why didn't I try more? What went wrong? What did I do wrong? What did I do wrong?
Speaker 1:And I finally, in the last few weeks, opened up about. Am I being as true as I am to the messages that are coming through? Am I setting myself up in a way where I'm open to receiving the messages? I'm not filtering anything, I'm not. I'm not putting my biases and I'm literally just being the conduit and it's it's not up to me what messages come in and what I deliver to people and having that full faith and trust that spirit is going to give me exactly what they need to give me and and I can't ask for more and I can't ask for less, I just need to be the person who channels the information and I, like that, has been, I think, my biggest thing that has clicked or changed in the last few weeks.
Speaker 1:And I have to tell you, taking taking the me out of mediumship and I guess I got to do this whole podcast episode out of it, taking the me out of mediumship has been a complete fucking game changer. Complete game changer Because it's not about me, it's never been about me. It's always been about the messages that I receive from spirit and making sure I'm delivering them in their purest form to the person who needs to hear it, and and it's not about me to the person who needs to hear it, and and it's not about me. So I guess that'll be the next episode or shortly following. I got to think about this one but, um, I got to take the me out of mediumship and I don't know, I don't know. So that really spiraled, that really spiraled.
Speaker 1:So, um, so mediums, how are you proud today? I want you to think about how you should be proud about the work that you're doing and how you're delivering these messages, and how not everyone is a home run. You don't always hit it out of the park, but did you do everything you could to hit it out of the park, and that's what I want you to make sure you're patting yourself on the back for. And then for those of you that attended the event at a crystal mine, just thank you so much as always for trusting me with the souls of your loved ones, with allowing me to be the conduit and deliver the messages for you. And I think spirit is having me separate right now, because in my mind I just said something.
Speaker 1:Teresa says a lot, so that was spirit bringing in the five final closing remarks about how I'm reacting to my mediumship demonstration versus Teresa, because I did the best that I could do and I'm freaking proud of myself, and I walked away on Wednesday feeling like I am an amazing medium, right, I am an amazing conduit for spirit that delivers the messages with as much heartfelt compassion and as much accuracy as I can, and I know I don't get it right all the time, but I'm showing up in my purest, most highest intention form.
Speaker 1:Right, and they're telling me Teresa did the same thing. But shit goes down in demonstrations. So don't judge yourself by what goes wrong. Be proud of yourself for what goes right and just keep taking those steps towards what goes right.
