Premonitions Are Bullshit: The Truth About Free Will, Timelines, and Your Future

Premonitions can feel like the most comforting thing in the world and the most dangerous. We unpack why so many people chase predictions through tarot, astrology, numerology, and psychic readings, and why I’ve had a long-running love-hate relationship with future forecasting, even while it keeps showing up in my work.

I walk through the difference between mediumship and predicting outcomes, and why “being right” can’t be the only measure of integrity. Then we get real about the nuanced cases, especially fertility, spirit babies, and pregnancy loss, where people aren’t asking for entertainment, they’re asking for hope they can survive. The turning point is a reframe that changes everything: a premonition is often the most probable path forward if nothing changes. Why Premonitions Feel Risky

Hello, everyone. Welcome back to the Unity Code Podcast. I got some beef today with premonitions that I want to start laying out on the table. And this has been a podcast episode that I have been thinking about recording for probably about six months now. I'm laughing about this because I couldn't have predicted it would have taken me this long to get here. And also at the same time, this is a topic that I have been like afraid of, slash mulled over, slash um uh I'm learning how to be a little more comfortable with in the metaphysical space as a reader because I think premonitions are such a core aspect of what we do, what we do. So let's rewind a little bit to talk about what premonitions are. I'm gonna kind of bring you on my own little adventure of premonitions today. And again, I think this is gonna be a one of many episodes. But premonitions essentially are the predictions of usually the near and sometimes far future for people. And actually, if I really think back to what hooked me in this metaphysical space, it was probably the first four minutes of my first mediumship reading I ever had, where this woman, who's no longer in practice anymore. So don't bother asking me. Um I sat down in her office, paid cash for the session. She only had my phone number, and she sat down and she predicted that everyone in my family was gonna live a long life, right? She predicted that my son is likely gonna go into science or something with technology. She predicted um some health issues that I would have when I'm older. I don't know, I don't know if that's on my timeline anymore. Um, and she predicted all of these things like I'm gonna be married to my spouse for the rest of my life, right? And so, like being able to literally hear some random stranger tell me that my life is gonna be sunshine and rainbows, I was like, yes, please fucking tell me more. And what is so interesting is now as I'm reflecting back on that moment, it wasn't necessarily just because she had said it, but I also felt the truthness, truth in what she said as well. So I'm just gonna put that one to the side. But I can see how and why premonitions and predictions are such an addicting and amazing fucking experience for clients because it allows us to feel safe in the information that's coming in. It allows us to feel safe in the current circumstances of our life and it allows us to feel safe knowing what's gonna come down the pipeline and make us feel better and or better prepared for what's to come. Right. It allows my nervous system to calm down a little bit with the belief of certainty, knowing where something is going, where my relationships are going, where my career is going, where my housing is going, et cetera. And it's so interesting that this is the basis of a lot of metaphysical work. Because so it's just interesting to me because I don't use a lot of the things for premonition purposes, but God, I fucking do. Um, but a lot of people will go to astrologers and get year-ahead readings. A lot of people will do numerology and figure out your personal year. A lot of people will go to tarot or oracle card readers to understand what to do in a certain situation. Hell, I have so many different clients that come to me asking for the future or likelihood of certain things happening for them. It's just a natural thing that we do, I think, in this space. And also, on the flip side, as a reader, it's also something that is really fucking uncomfortable for me. Because

The Addictive Safety Of Predictions

I know that everybody wants to know the future. Because again, you want that safety in your nervous system and your reality. You want to be able to predict and control what's happening to you, who fucking doesn't, right? But also at the same time, as a practitioner, this is something that I have always struggled with. I've always struggled with this because I am deeply concerned about the integrity that I bring into this work. And predicting the future is very different than mediumship because mediumship starts with chatting with departed loved ones. It's talking about things that have already happened, it's channeling messages from loved ones where I'm not necessarily responsible for what is coming through. I'm just responsible for being a clear channel to receive and relay this information. And so for me, there is integrity, there is responsibility, but it's a whole different level of responsibility with mediumship than it is necessarily doing premonitions or predicting the future that a lot of people want in the psychic space. And so I have always struggled with it. And as I think back, I started with mediumship probably for that reason, is because I felt safer talking to the dead than I felt predicting the future. And doesn't that just say fucking everything about me? Because I want to make sure it's right. I want to make sure it's accurate, I want to make sure that I'm bringing through stuff that is helpful for my clients, that is true for my clients, that is exactly what they need to hear at this age and season of their life. And premonitions always felt like such a big responsibility. I always felt like I have tried to avoid doing premonitions like the plague, which is really hard when one of my videos that went viral on TikTok was about spirit babies and how spirit babies come back to you. Um, so I ended up getting a lot of clients who were struggling with fertility and struggling to have babies. And a lot of them were coming to me to ask if the baby was going to come back to them, if they were gonna get pregnant, if um they should go through getting the snip-snip procedure because they were done with the heartbreak and loss of trying. And I really struggled as a practitioner wanting to give them hope and also wanting to give them the truth. And so here are a few stories related to those premonitions. Because I had one woman that came to me that was desperate to have a kid, tried multiple rounds of IVF, doctors couldn't find anything wrong that would have caused all of the pregnancy failures that this woman was having. And she asked me if having a baby was in her future. Like snapping, like so fast. And don't you know? She booked a session with me a year later, and that's exactly what it was. It was an iron deficiency, fixed it, got pregnant. Right. I had another client who was trying for their second. Hey girl, I know you listen to the podcast, and came to me desperate, desperate to know if a second one was gonna happen, if a second kid was gonna happen, because she was trying. She was at the end of her ropes. She was so sad, so distraught over the fact that month over month her period would come and she wasn't pregnant again, and she was ready to finally just give up hope because she didn't want to go through that heartbreak again. And I could see the second kid waiting. And I'm like, no, it's gonna happen. I can see that there's a second kid waiting for you. And so I brought in, I believe it was her grandmother, to channel some ways that she could make that happen and talk about how she needed to stop focusing on it and just relax like relax, go have fun, go live your life, and it will happen. And that same client, probably about a few months later,

Mediumship Vs Future Forecasting

booked me and she was pregnant, right? Had the second kid. Ding. And so even though I was so fucking afraid of all of these premonitions, they kept finding their way to me and they kept proving to me that they were right. Do you hear the angst in my voice? Like, I still don't like them. Because they're so nuanced. Like they're so nuanced. And this is the problem I have with premonitions. This is why I still struggle with premonitions, is because if I'm honest to God with you, like if I'm so truthful with you, is because I think that we get to choose and write our future. I think that we can choose free will, and at any point we can change the paths that we get to have in this lifetime. And this is something that has evolved for me over time and my belief of because I used to think it was just, you know, predicting the energy of the near future and like moving towards it. So essentially following the same energetic thread forward and seeing what's the most probable path forward. And realistically, that's essentially what most psychics do is they're taking that energy thread and continuing it forward to see what is the likely thing that's gonna happen should nothing else change. And that is really the energy of what premonitions are at the foundation of it, right? But the key is that should nothing else change? The key is that you can fucking change the future. You can change where you want to go, you can change what you want to do, and all it is is a is a prediction of the continuity of the energy. And so doesn't that change the whole conversation about premonitions? It's more like what's going to happen should nothing change. And I think I was much safer and feel really good about that energy in talking about it from that lens, because then it becomes very clear and easy for me to understand what's gonna happen because I can I can follow the energetic thread of the current vibration and bring that forward to know exactly what's gonna happen. And that feels really safe to me and that feels really solid, and that feels really high integrity for me. And also partnering that with if you don't like what I'm saying, you have the option to change it. And I think that's where a lot of people get misunderstand this work because we think that things are set in stone. We think that the soul has set a path, the soul has set your destination, your journey, your, you know, your your raison d'etre, your reason to be in this lifetime. And we it's immovable and we can't change it. And we're supposed to go through these things, come hell or high water. It's like final fucking destination, everybody. No matter what you do, these things are coming for you. There's nothing you can do to shift or avoid it. And that's not fucking true at all. Because my reality, and I think this is why it's taken me years to come to this conclusion. The reality is that we are supposed to have certain milestones in our life at a soul level, at a contract, soul contract, soul path level. We are supposed to have certain milestones. I'm supposed to have my kids. I am supposed to have my husband, right? I am supposed to, you know, have my dog, right? I'm supposed to go fucking batshit crazy as a private executive, private equity executive around the age of 40 and throw everything away. It was part of my plan. It was like part of my plan. But the reality is that those milestones are milestones. They are not a timeline. They are not set in stone that this was supposed to happen at 40 for me. Like, sure, astrology and numerology might say something different. But it's not that I couldn't change my path. It's not that this is my destiny and I have to do this for the rest of my life. Maybe part of my future is going fucking crazy and mediumship and being like, fuck this, I'm out, going back to corporate. I don't know. Right. I think the def the difference is that realizing that our soul comes here with infinite plans. We have milestones, but within them are infinite plans. And we call that free will. We call that the possibility of changing the path, changing the reality, changing the sequencing of events, which I think is absolutely true. But the reality is that we don't come here with one

Fertility Readings And Hard Truths

path. We come here with infinite paths. And at any point, we can change that path, and we're still quote unquote on the right path because that path was already established to begin with. It was one of the many options that we could take here in this physical world as we continue to grow and evolve as souls. And this is why I really struggle. And if you had these sessions with me, you might have noticed my brain break or my face do like a for a half second because people want to come to me and ask what their path is. And the reality is I want to put it back on them and be like, whatever you fucking choose is your path.

And so that's why I love this perfect idea of like putting these premonitions in a box to say, if nothing else changes, this is your path because I can read that. But if you don't like that, let's talk about the other paths that are available for you. Or even better, why don't we talk about what path you want to take? And then let's get you on that path instead. How about we talk about premonitions that way? How about instead of the future feeling inevitable and wondering what's going to happen because you have no free will to change it, which is how most clients come into this space. How about we change that fucking conversation entirely and say the entire future is open for you at every frequency, at every timeline, at every vibration, at every experience you want. So if you want to be the multimillionaire, let's talk about that. Let's see what that vibration of your future looks like, and let's see how do we get you on that timeline to become that person.

Yeah, fucking really. Really? I'm not I'm gonna pause for a dramatic effect while I drink my water here, but fucking really, you get to set the path that you're on. Stop acting like the path is set for you and it's you are a victim to it, that you are chained to it, because that is not the reality of this work. So you can see why I have an eternal struggle around premonitions, is because I sure I can give you that information. Here, I'll pull a couple cards right now, right? Like, what is the likely path of me later today? Should nothing change, right? The like the path of fucking Christ. Nope. The card that came out was choosing your path all is possible. Choosing your path all is possible. Can't make this shit up, everybody. You can't fucking make this shit up. Right? And so, like, here is oh God. And this is the worst do you see my brain breaks all the time? Because everything we think we know about this metaphysical work, the way that other people talk about it on the internet, through like all the lives on TikTok, like all of the social media shit is all it's a continuation of the giant fucking patriarchy society that says you have to do things a certain way, and this is the way forward, right? So, like, and this is the problem that I have is that a lot of my clients, um, well, you are you're all amazing, so that's different. But a lot of people in the marketplace don't understand this idea of sovereignty and empowerment. They don't understand the fact that they create their future. They don't understand that there are unlimited timelines, unlimited paths available to them that they can choose from instead of having the path choose them. And this happened recently with a friend of mine, I will who will remain nameless, who came to me dire with a medical, waiting for a medical diagnosis or response from a test, asking me, is it gonna be cancerous? That was a conversation because I was like, it depends what your frequency is, depends what you want out of it. Because if you're gonna come at it and worry the way that you have been and you're gonna maintain this lower frequency, that is gonna happen. I can see that happening. I can see surgery happening. Should you continue this lower vibrational frequency, this fear-mongering, this, this uh this path of sadness and frustration and not sleeping and not taking care of yourself. Like if you want to continue down and you want your behaviors and vibration to be at this lower frequency, then yes, it will be cancer. Yes, you will have surgery. I see that you're gonna be fine after this, but that is what I'm seeing from that timeline. And at the same time, you don't have to choose that timeline. We can go to a different timeline, we can go to a different path, we can make a different decision, and you can choose to start taking care of yourself. You can choose the vibration and belief that you are gonna be fine, that these tests are gonna come out benign, that everything is gonna be fine, because you also can see that this is not gonna be the end of your journey, of your path. You can see that these tests end up amounting to nothing, and you can choose that path too. Now, isn't that a fucking wild conversation to have with somebody that you set your destination? You set the frequency and vibration, you set your own premonition, your own future. Just through intention and belief alone.

Well, I yeah, I mean, obviously she chose the healthy path. And she just messaged me this weekend telling me that it was cancer free. Of course it was, because she chose

Free Will Changes Every Premonition

that path. And like, doesn't this sound like a cop-out? Can I be honest with all of you? Like, my my logical brain's like calling bullshit on the energetic brain. The divine masculine fucking is beating up my divine feminine right now because it sounds like bullshit. It totally fucking does. I understand that. But also I've seen people shift their frequency with me. I've seen people choose the different vibrations, I've seen people change their path while they are literally in the session with me. I've seen it happen over and over and over again because I feel the shift that they make. And I don't know how to describe it. It is an energetic shift, and as soon as they decide I'm gonna go down the healthy path, I'm gonna choose the happy path, I'm gonna choose this timeline because that's what I want, it anchors it in. I and I feel them anchored to that timeline just through intention and belief.

And this is the work that I do with people.

Because I'm not gonna have you pay your money, show up to me for me to tell you this is gonna be a shit life. Buckle up, you're gonna be poor, you're gonna lose your house, you're gonna be home. Like who? No. No. And I think. This is the fucking craziest part of the consciousness that's waking up right now is seeing that this shit is possible, is knowing that this shit is possible.

And this is something that I did in a recent demonstration in front of all the people that were there, mediumship demonstration with uh another woman who was struggling to get pregnant over and over and over again. And it was just this beautiful session filled with, again, like mediumship and timeline jumping because I could see flowers all around her. And it was really different that I saw flowers around her because this was part of the reading of three that I did. I thought I was reading one person, but I was reading three at one time. That was fun. Um, and I'm looking at the woman in the middle, I'm like, I see your aunt. I looked at the woman on the right, I'm like, I see your grandmother. And I looked at the woman on the left, I'm like, I don't see, I don't see anybody. I just see flowers all around you. I just see flowers. And we get into the conversation about how she has struggled with fertility.

She has struggled with bringing a baby to full term.

And I talked about how I can see that she has children, but she has to see it in herself. She has to choose that timeline. She has to make the conscious decision and belief that this is possible. And I said, you can do that right here, right now. And I promise you, a child will be coming your way. I promise you. And so, right in the middle of this mediumship demonstration with all the other people there, she declared that she wanted and believed that she would have kids. And her vibration changed. Her future changed.

All because she set the intention of that and set the belief of that. And I believe I said, you're not just gonna have one, you're gonna have two. So I could see that as well.

And when I asked her at the end, because they kept showing me the flowers, the flowers, the flowers, I was like, what are the flowers?

And she said the flowers are the pregnancy losses that she's had.

She named every single one after a flower. Can you see how fucking powerful this work is?

Choosing A Timeline In Real Time

that we have to choose a life that we want. Because we are not sent here to live miserable lives. We are sent here to learn the rules of the game so much that we can bend them. And that includes reality. That includes the codes of reality, which is why this podcast is called the Unity Code, is because it is the web of consciousness that we can learn to play jump rope with and change the future that is possible for you. And no, not all of this can be explained by logical thought, by physics, by, you know, quantum physics at this point. But yet that's what magic is, isn't it? Isn't it what we experience before science proves it's real? And by the way, there have been plenty of studies to show that belief changes outcomes. And there is quantum physics experiments that show the reality that exists and how you can change it. Because there's there's actually scientific studies called the observer effect. And you can Google this because the observer effect essentially looks at light waves before they are observed and then after they observed. And if you look at this study, it blows my mind. The observer effect shows that before you are looking at these waves, they tend to go in a very random pattern. There's no rhyme or reason to them. They're just kind of out there doing the things that light waves do and just kind of doing what they do, right? And only once you start to observe them do they change their behavior. Only once you start to set the expectation of what you expect those light waves to do, do they actually change their behavior and do what you expect them to do. Like it is fucking scientifically proven that light changes based on the belief and perception of what you expect it to do. And so we're taking these itty bitty things that have been proven by science, and we're like, let's change your entire fucking reality based on it. Let's change your entire fucking future based on it. Let's change the fact that you are gonna have kids in your future based on it. Because your belief in the future is going to make your reality happen. And this is why I call bullshit on premonitions. It's true. And like it makes so much sense to me. Hindsight's 2020, why I struggled with it so much. Why I struggled with it so much, and why when people would ask me, is this gonna happen? It would always be yes. Yes, you're gonna have kids. Yes, you're gonna get that house, yes, you're gonna get that job. To the point where I actually had to come to Jesus with my spirit team. And I was like, there's no way that everything is a yes. Why do you give me everything as if it's a yes? Why do you give me the most positive, amazing outcome for every time they come to me when you have mothers that are so sad and upset because they don't have the means and or, you know, money health-wise, whatever it is to bring a baby to full term and they have to say goodbye to it, you know what I'm getting at. And they come to me asking, is this soul going to come back to them? They come to me asking if this is in their future because they are so sad to see this baby go, but they don't have another choice. And Spirit tells me, Yes, they'll be back. Right? And so I've had that moment with my team saying, Why are all the answers yes? Why are they all the best outcome?

That surely can't be true. And Spirit's response to me was your job is to give them hope. That's it.

Belief, The Observer Effect, Reality

Oh, that's such an interesting perspective.

What they're telling me is because it's obviously tied into everything that I've said, because if I can give them hope, if they can choose that timeline, it's gonna happen. But I can give them hope and they don't and they might not believe it, which will change the outcome of what they think is gonna happen or what does end up happening. And so there is an element of free will in this, and it all comes down to do you believe? And so next time you try to control the future, and you try to go to the astrologer and you try to go to the tarot reader, wondering if something amazing is gonna happen, wondering if this dream job is gonna happen, wondering if that home is gonna be the home that you want. Save your money. Come to me. And let's set the frequency of that timeline together where it does become possible. Because we can talk about your goals in a whole fucking different way and set you on the right frequency that makes that a reality for you instead of hoping it will happen with a luck and a prayer. We can do more than that. We can set you on the timeline frequency that makes it possible. And so that is why I'm calling complete bullshit on premonitions.
