Welcome to the Disneyville Podcast, episode 62.
JessicaWhere we talk about the Disney parks, Disney Cruise, and all the magic in between. What are we talking about today, Tyler?
TylerSo this is all you you had this idea of doing this, and it is things that are legal to do in Disney, but feel illegal. Like you shouldn't be able to do are we allowed to do this?
JessicaWait, are you sure? Should we Google it?
TylerYou told me about this idea, and you're like, I'll write some stuff down. And within like 30 seconds, you had written down our entire list. I'm like, I don't think I have anything to add to this.
JessicaI just added another one.
TylerBoom, boom, boom, boom, boom. So this is a Jessica episode.
JessicaThese are all your uh Well, we're gonna share them together because we we've talked through them now. And so yeah.
TylerBut yeah, this is a fun idea.
JessicaYeah, I'm excited. Uh let's see. Should we just start? Are we are we diving right in? Trying to think if we have any housekeeping.
TylerWe have uh by the time this is going live, if they're not up already, the Disney vlogs from our time at Animal Kingdom Lodge should be coming up. They might already be coming out by Yeah, I think so. Um trying to think when this one's going live. But it will they they are pretty good. Yeah. So I hope you guys are enjoying those or you will enjoy them when they first come out. And then right after that, we're gonna have some Disney Cruise ones coming out. So we got a lot more Disney vlogs coming out too. So if you listen to the podcast but you don't watch the vlogs, check those out because they're a lot of fun.
JessicaOh, and to add to that, I wanted to say we did a like prepping for the trip, packing vlogs, shopping, all of that kind of stuff. So if you're into that kind of content, that is also here on our Disneyville YouTube channel. Check that one out. That's before we basically put that one up before the vlogs. So, okay, let's dive in.
These are the things that I think feel illegal, but they aren't. And I did double check because some of these, I'm like, wait, can we do this here? Are we allowed? Like, I've done this before, but am I allowed to? I did double check. So we should be good here. First one, and this was kind of like the impetus for this video the idea of an umbrella. Uh, someone I know was going to Disney recently, and they were asking, like, okay, for the rain, like, we've got ponchos, we've got this. Should we bring an umbrella? And my instinct was to say, no, because you can't. And then I'm like, wait a minute. So I Googled it. You can.
TylerYeah.
JessicaTotally allowed. Um, ponchos are such a thing in Disney. Yeah, and why have umbrellas? I think I thought they were illegal because I'm just picturing if everyone in the park had an umbrella.
TylerYeah.
JessicaEveryone would be bumping and poking kids' eyeballs and like with the ends of the umbrella, like it'd just be chaos, right?
TylerI don't know. I'm I think in the big city, in the big city, somehow they pull it down. Somehow they manage to all these umbrellas.
JessicaYeah.
TylerI will say I'd never use a poncho anywhere except Disney. But when I'm in Disney, I use a poncho. And then when I'm uh outside of it, I you know, don't use an umbrella in Disney, but I only use umbrellas outside of Disney. Yeah, I don't know.
JessicaSo I'm thinking, I know. Well, my only other guess is I wonder if people are deterred from bringing them too, because I'm betting an umbrella will set off where they have to check your bag. You know, like nowadays, you can just kind of walk through their security scanner, and then only some people are called over. That would be another thing, like, all right, well, then let's just not bring the umbrella because we keep it's the only thing setting it off, you know.
TylerYeah. So but that's the bag check line's usually pretty quick. I have to go through it all the time with my camera stuff. Yeah, that's true. It's usually pretty fast.
JessicaYeah. Oh, I love this one. Yeah.
TylerYou want to do this one?
JessicaNo,
no, no.
TylerOkay. You can order your quick service at your hotel while you're on your way to your hotel. So, like while you're on the bus or the monorail or anything like that. In your Uber. Say you're going back for the afternoon, you're going back for the evening, whatever, you want to get some food. You can place the order on the mobile app while you're just sitting there waiting around on the bus. And then when you get there, you can hit, I'm here, place my order.
JessicaOr I'm here, prepare my order. Or I'm here, I'm here, prepare my order. But here's the thing. Let me kick you a few scenarios that we've specifically lived through. One, we were on the um bus, not the magical express anymore, the like mirrors transportation, whatever. And it was taking us to our hotel, and it was getting later, and we were hungry, the kids were hungry, and I was like, you know what? I wonder if the quick service still opened, and it still was. And I was like, okay. So we like quickly got our order together. I placed it. Then when we got there, like 20 minutes later, I hit I'm here. And so we were able to literally go to our room, grab our food, and bring it back to the room and eat.
unknownYeah.
JessicaBecause I don't know what else we would have done. You know what I mean? Everything was closing. So um, another scenario, actually just the same thing, but coming home from the park, we were like, you know what? We're kind of snacky.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
JessicaYou could just get order a little dessert. Yeah. Pick that up. Like and you can do that. Feels illegal though, doesn't it? It's like, I'm not, but I'm not there. Like, because you can pick your arrival window and all that.
TylerBut you can do it in the parks too. So say you're standing in line for Peter Pan, you know what I mean? And you're just waiting there for 30 minutes. You know, you can place your order for lunch later in the day at a quick service, and then when it's time, I'm here prepare my order. So yeah. Use that time wisely as opposed to waiting until everybody's hungry later in the day.
JessicaAnd then a lot of times, like the arrival windows that are for common eating times, like noon, you know, 1215, 1230, are all kind of sold out, if you will. And so you're like, oh, well, the next arrival window is an hour from now.
TylerBy the time you're building your lunch at noon and you're hungry, it's like next arrival time is 1245. It's like too long.
JessicaToo long.
TylerOkay, this next
one. This is a biggie.
JessicaOh, yes. Okay. At Fort Wilderness, not Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness, they have this Chippendale campfire sing-along. We have been before, it was darling. We are totally wanting to go again. You guys, it is free and anyone can go. You do not have to be singing at Fort Wilderness. And I did double check this. So you could Uber there, although that's a little tricky because you have to get to the back. You might have to get on the bus then. Yeah, yeah. If you can get on bus transportation or no, no, boat transportation there. I think that's the ideal way. And um, so like if you were leaving the magic kingdom and you're like, all right, instead of saying for the fireworks tonight, we're gonna go do the campfire sing-along. Yeah. So it's Chip and Dale. You can take photos with them, you meet them, you know, whatever, and they're just kind of running around being cute. Uh, there's like this cowboy like singing sing-along songs on this like kind of stage. It was a bigger deal than I I thought. Yeah. And then there's there, there's a marshmallow roast, which is free. If you want like actual some more stuff, you can buy a kit there. You can bring your own. Um, and then they do a movie under the stars.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
JessicaI just think it is amazing. It's kind of crazy that they are still doing this because this feels like an older Disney thing. Definitely. And it makes me so happy that they still do it. And that's so happy. I just free. If you were a local, you could just go. You could just go.
TylerOh, it's so fun. It's so cool. I hope that's that's one of those last bastions of Disney in the 90s that I just please don't get rid of it.
Okay, this is fine. If you like popcorn, you can take your popcorn bucket back and get it refilled, right? For a discounted price.
JessicaBut you know what feels illegal?
TylerYou can go where they have the flavored popcorn, for instance, the Canada Pavilion, where they have the maple popcorn, and you can get the discounted price for the maple popcorn.
JessicaYes, you can.
TylerTo get your refill.
JessicaAnd they, every single time I've ever bought the maple popcorn, like in the souvenir thing, like this last time, they told me as I was checking out, like, by the way, you can refill any kind of popcorn at any popcorn stand, flavored or not, in this bucket. And I think that it's like maybe a dollar more. Like, if let's say, I don't know the exact price, but let's say the refill is two dollars. The maple one would be like three dollars, but come on, that maple popcorn is so good. Yeah, so yeah, it feels illegal though. Are you sure? How does this not topple your economy? I knew you were gonna say all right, yeah.
TylerPool hopping. So at most resorts, you cannot pool hop to another resort. Like, say you're staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can't go over to Beach Club and you know.
JessicaBut don't you feel like we used to do that like way back, even like 20, not even that long ago, I guess, but like 2010.
TylerI feel like you like could there was a time where you had to use your magic band to get into the pools. That seems to have gone away. The last several times we've gone, different resorts don't have that anymore. I'm not condoning pool hopping.
JessicaOh, no, no.
TylerBut I'm just saying. It used to be they were very, very strict about it.
JessicaNow honestly, it just feels like so much work. I'm like, I'm gonna go.
TylerThen you have to figure out how to get home.
JessicaBut you know what? Yacht and Beach, they do give you uh like a special wristband because it's it's too cool. That like they can't just let
anyone in.
TylerBut that said, at the All-Stars, if you're staying there, you can pool hop around any of those. If you're staying at like Port Orleans, whether it's French Quarter or Riverside, you can pool hop. If you're staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can do uh Jumbo House or Kidani Village. So there are areas where you can pool hop. And a lot of obviously a lot of them have multiple pools to begin with, just because these resorts are so huge. Yeah, yeah. But check depending on where you are, there might be a sister resort or there might be something where you can pool hop and do something different for one of the days that you're there.
JessicaYeah, especially if you're doing a whole day where you're just like at the resort, like let's say you're seeing all-star movies, you're like, let's go over to all-star sports, let's get crazy, let's go to all-star sports pool, and then let's go get their quick service.
TylerI think you can do can you do pop century and art of animation? Can you pool hop there too?
JessicaOnly one way to find out.
TylerI think I feel like I remember that. I know I'm obviously you can go over and get you know, food in the quick service and all that kind of stuff. I know, but let me think I remember people talking about that.
JessicaIt'd be cool if you could, though. Let's see. No, technically you cannot per Plan Disney.
TylerOkay.
JessicaDarn. Yeah, Disney strictly enforces a play where you pay policy, pool areas are fenced, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Often requiring a scan of your magic band, which again, in recent years, we have not. Well, it's combined, you know. Um, yeah, sister resorts, all-star in Port Orleans. You can, blah, blah, blah. The other thing is you could just, you know, while you're getting crazy and going from all-star movies to sports, you could take your refill mug, go refill it there.
SPEAKER_01Just gets so that's crazy. I can't believe you said that. Wow. Okay.
JessicaWow.
Oh, this feels a little bit illegal. Taking Disney transportation from one resort to another by way of like going to a park and then getting on a bus to go to another resort. It just feels like are we allowed to? I don't know. Do you know what I mean? Like, well, and it's interesting to me because And it's a lot of work, you know, versus like if you just had a direct line, like Uber from one hotel to another.
TylerBut well, so say, say, for instance, you're gonna go eat at something at the Contemporary, you know, you have a uh reservation there. You have to have a dining reservation if you're gonna drive there and park there. But if you are staying at any of the other resorts, you can just take a bus or monorail to Magic Kingdom and then either walk over there or you know, whatever. And I'm like, it's it's just interesting that they're so you know crazy about the parking lot. And I think some of it must just have to do with they don't have a lot of parking spots.
JessicaI think well, and if people were parking like at the boardwalk to go to Epcot, that would be crazy fast. Yeah. But you're right though, and that's another reason I think I don't think I realize that's why it feels so illegal because you can't just drive in unless you're like staying there or have a restaurant reservation, like you said.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but you can go there, just get on a bus.
JessicaAnd you also don't even have to be staying in a Disney hotel because if you just go to Disney Springs, yeah, get on the bus to go. So it feels quite illegal.
TylerYeah, my aunt did that recently. She went to Disney Springs and then took a bus to Magic Kingdom, I want to say, and then went over to Fort Wilderness to see the hoop to do review.
JessicaYeah, yeah. So it's you know, you just gotta know the system, and then all right, this is my favorite one.
This was one that I just can't believe isn't like it's just crazy. So if you have heard of the Phantasmic Dining Package, we've been doing it, we've done it a couple times, yeah. Um, where you're basically making it just a dining reservation at the most of the sit-down restaurants at Hollywood Studios. RIP Mama Melrose. Yeah, it used to be Mama Melrose, uh, Hollywood and Vine, 50s Primetime Cafe, sci-fi dine-in, and technically Hollywood Brown Derby, but we'll talk about that. So you have your dining reservation, but it's booked with this special Phantasmic dining thing. And so when you do that, basically you're given VIP really great seats at Phantasmic. It's a separate area, you have to prove, you have these little tickets they give you at the restaurant. It is amazing though, because it is they are amazing seats in a really great area, like near the center. It's it's awesome. But if you are booking it, I thought for a while it was the same price. Like if you were to go to the restaurant versus not, basically it ends up costing around like $10 to $20 more per person, kind of depending on what you would have gotten versus this. But you're kind of basically paying for a good seat for Phantasmic, which always fills up, always, and you know, you're not guaranteed where you're gonna sit. Well, the illegal thing is if you were on the Disney dining plan, it is one table service credit for any of those restaurants except for Brown Derby or for the Phantasmic dining package for the restaurant and these seats, it is also just one table service credit. So it is kind of an amazing value to do it. So if you were using dining plan and you were eating at one of the restaurants in Hollywood Studios, 1000% you should book it as the Phantasmic Dining Package, which you just do on your app, just the same.
TylerAnd you can do lunch, it's not like you have to do it. Yeah, yeah.
JessicaWe ended up doing lunch and then just came back for the first show or whatever. Yeah, it is amazing. Now, Brown Derby, it is two table service credits, which it it's two table service credits either way, but just I always like to point that out.
TylerYeah, because it's signature.
JessicaYeah, yeah.
TylerWell, and so the way they do it, so it doesn't cost you like extra to get the the dining package. The way they do it is it's a prefix menu.
JessicaYeah, so it's a little different than if you just went to the restaurant.
TylerSo if you just went to the restaurant and you ordered food, you could end up paying the same amount, but I don't know. It's it's kind of a wishy-washy thing. But with the dining credit or with the dining plan, it is thousand percent worth it.
JessicaYeah, thousand percent, yeah. It's like insider knowledge, you know what I mean?
Like when you know. So we have a bunch of food ones.
TylerYeah, so you can bring your own food into the parks. It's a question we get a lot.
JessicaDoesn't need to be factory sealed, nothing like that.
TylerBut if you don't want to spend money on the restaurants there, you want to bring your own lunch in, or if you have like dietary restrictions, stuff like that, you know, you can bring in your own food in a backpack, have it for lunch that day.
JessicaI mean bring some PBJs, some uncrustables.
TylerExactly.
JessicaI'm just getting hungry again.
TylerBut that is one of those things that again, people always wonder like, wait, am I allowed to bring in food?
JessicaAnd I think it's because some theme parks and some public places like that can be really strict, like stadiums. And so I think we all have in my our minds, but yeah, you can totally just you don't have to buy food at Disney at all. Yeah if you don't want to. Or drinks for that matter. You could bring in a little tiny thing with sprites and diet cokes and whatever. You know, I was gonna say
there are no rules, but I mean there are some rules.
TylerThere's nothing but rules. Okay. Ordering DoorDash to your hotel.
JessicaOr Uber Eats, whatever.
TylerYeah, whatever, whatever service you use. So for a long time, obviously, we would only get Disney food. And I remember a couple years ago, we were like, Do you think we could just order from like a restaurant and have it delivered here?
JessicaYou're like, this is you know, I think that's illegal, certainly. But we'll get arrested.
TylerDisney people want they want the food money, they won't let you, but yeah, they uh they let you order. And so depending on the resort, they like they might come right to your door, they might come to the lobby. I feel like generally it's always a lobby now. Well, what although once I think they like somehow when we had we had pizza order, uh a pizza order, and it was delivered like right to our room. So I'm not sure.
JessicaI think we were like in an outer building of like in the side or something, yeah. But yeah, generally it's the lobby. I think that's protocol, is like go to the lobby. But yeah, you know, you could DoorDash, those kinds of things can be expensive with the fees and you know, whatever, but might not be as expensive as Disney, depending, depending on where you're ordering from. Or if you're just craving something different, like something specific. You know what we did once? Uh we ordered Chipotle, and it was awesome.
TylerYep, yeah, we did.
JessicaThat was at uh Fort Wilderness, actually. Remember? We got chips, guac, I got my bowl, you got your burrito.
TylerThat was the time they came all the way to the maybe that's what it was. But there's a time we ordered a pizza too, and they came to our door. Well, anyway, I don't know, it just depends.
JessicaSo illegal.
TylerYou'll you'll figure it out.
JessicaYou'll figure it out.
Okay, here's something we did at the the for the first time, I think at like the yacht or the beach club, one of those. And it was using the microwaves they have in the quick service area. Like, obviously, they're there, you can use it for whatever, but in my head, I'm like, no, well, you have to use it for things that are like that they're selling. But no, not at all. They're just there. Yeah. So, like, if you had little mac and cheese cups, you know, those kinds that are like Easy Mac, whatever, you could just do that. Save some money on dinner for the toddler, you know? Yeah. So I remember doing it and like looking around, feeling like wrong. The water, but you know, those like Easy Mac things, the water's always exploding. I'm having to clean it up.
TylerOh, yeah. Yeah, you gotta put a bowl under those things.
JessicaOh, yeah, 100%.
TylerOn the same kind of vein, you can get
anything delivered to your room, like from Amazon, like they will just deliver it.
JessicaJust order a pair of goggles on Amazon.
TylerYou guys there's been a few times where we forget something, uh, you know, like a GoPro battery or whatever, and I'm like, just order from Amazon and they'll just deliver it to your hotel. Yeah. That's they can't do it. Seems like the silliest thing in the world, but yeah.
JessicaAnd it's not illegal. Yeah, it they used to charge like a surcharge for it.
TylerThey have gone back and forth on this and moving on.
JessicaI think, I don't think they're currently half the time.
TylerYeah, I don't know. We have literally had every single different kind of thing happen to us. Like sometimes they just deliver it to the room, no big deal. Sometimes they deliver it and there's a note on it that says, like, there's been a $7 charge to charge to your room. Sometimes they're like, hey, just come pick it up at the lobby. I don't know.
JessicaYeah, or at the bell stands. Yeah.
TylerAw, cute.
JessicaDon't hold my hand.
TylerUm, but anyway, it's one of those things that's like, yeah, you just have stuff delivered to your mind.
JessicaSorry, I'm giggling about flirting with you.
SPEAKER_01Don't hold my hand.
JessicaOkay, this is the one I just added. It feels a little bit illegal to like lounge in the hubgrass or really anywhere in Disney for that matter. But the hubgrass, my understanding is that's basically what it was for. I mean, they end up using it too for like viewing of the fireworks, but like during the day, you can just take your toddler there and they can just crawl around. And but there's not
really many places like that in Disney. So even doing it still feels like, wait, are we allowed to do this? Are they gonna be like, hey, you can't sit there? Hey, hey, you gotta stand up. It's kind of like when you're in line for a ride and you've been you stood in the same place, like maybe it's shut down and you're just waiting. I'm like, are we allowed to sit? And when one person sits, then another sits, and then everyone sits. And I'm like, is someone gonna yell at us all? I'm like, well, they can't kick us all out, right? Anyway.
TylerAll right. So that was our fun little list here. Let's see what you guys had to say.
JessicaSo we asked you on our Welcome to Disneyville Instagram page on our stories and man o' man. I perused these right as we were sitting down quickly, and I was like, oh my gosh, I cannot wait to read all of these. So, ooh, there's a lot.
TylerWow. Okay. Yeah, literally uh right away. So many people saying bringing food into the parks feels illegal. So, I mean, it just in my one eye line here. Victoria O'Neill bringing food and drinks into the parks. Uh, Ruru 9412, bringing food into the parks. Uh, Chelsea Jewel, a simple one, but bringing outside food and drinks feels illegal, but it's not. I mean, that is a big one.
JessicaYeah. And I really do think the reason we all feel like it is, is because most places like this, you just can't. I'm thinking of stadiums, like if you're going to a sports game, you know. All right. So Rachel Merzlack said resort hopping, yeah, it still feels illegal. Like just resort hopping in general, and like walking around a resort that's not yours. I'm like, as if they're ever gonna know. There's something about walking into, and not necessarily in Disney anymore, but like if I'm in downtown
Indianapolis, like that's our close city, if you will. And I walk into a hotel I'm not actually staying in, you feel like they know. Like they know you don't belong there. And I don't know. I know.
TylerThey know all 2,500 guests that are there. Yeah.
JessicaSo anyway, so resort hopping, yes. Picking up your mobile order after paying on the app, yep, and free water cups. The fact that you can walk up to basically any walk-up stand. What? Yeah, and just get free water cups does feel a little bit illegal.
TylerYeah.
JessicaI'll take 10 water cups, please.
TylerThe best place to do that is at the Starbucks because you can get like a venti cup, like a huge cup of ice water, and that's for free. That's the way to do it.
JessicaThat is that is definitely the best place, but you gotta wait in the line. Although at the Hollywood Studios Starbucks, they had a water thing on the side, remember? And I was like, oh, where you could just more of those. I know everywhere, especially in the summer.
TylerMeg and Meg Hanzer, 15, has three. So putting a kid on your shoulders for fireworks slash parade isn't illegal, but it should be. Take the opposite there.
JessicaUh wait, that's a really fun episode idea.
TylerUm, Disney bounding and uh wearing a costume to the Halloween party. Because yeah, you normally can't wear a full costume unless you're going to the Halloween party. Um, so that's that's definitely fun to wear. Yeah. A real costume. Um, and then bringing a cooler with your own food and beverages. So again, that's a very popular one.
JessicaYeah. Please remind me to add to our list to do the opposite the what things that should be illegal. The things that should be illegal. That's hilarious. Yeah. Valley Galley said walking by at the perfect time with a low wait time for a popular ride without a lightning lane. That feels illegal because you're like, we're just walking on. This is amazing. Um, and then Ava Alemi uh said, cans of soda. I always pack some in the bottom of our backpacks.
SPEAKER_01There you go.
JessicaAnd again, you feel like you have to hide it. Like I'd be like, we better hide these.
TylerUm, this is a good one. Emily E. Dominguez said, being able to join a ride queue mere seconds before the park closed. So if you as long as you are in the queue, they will let you go through and ride the ride, but you have to be in the queue. So that feels like illegal. That I definitely get that. But honestly, the best part of that is depending on where you are, is at the very end when you're walking out after the ride, say you're in line for 45 minutes, when you're walking out, and then there's no one in the parks, and like there's like you and like three other people. That's that's the best part. Yeah.
JessicaWell, speaking of that, S. Hankle or Shankle 89 said hanging back after park close, avoiding crowds and making the day last longer. I very distinctly remember a couple of times uh where we've done that where you just kind of hang back and you very leisurely leave. Like, you're not being rude to the cast members because you know there's people in line for rides for the next hour, like yeah, but you know, just kind of leisurely enjoying and just stopping and looking at the castle and yeah, oh good, good, good stuff. Oh, yeah. AJ Cadmus said, bringing your own PBJ to munch on while you wait for Rise of the Resistance. I I wonder, are you allowed in line to bring food and drink? I know that obviously as you get farther in, I would say no.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
JessicaBut like if you're kind of waiting outside, like where is the line? Is it like once you're entering an inside area? I could understand if they were like you need to throw that away. I don't know. Yeah, but I think it has to be something that closes.
TylerYeah.
JessicaBut like if you had like a starbies and a sandwich, you know, but yeah, for one of those long, long lines, like popping out a little PBJ, taking a little nibble.
TylerUh Gillian Joy Avenue said, buying your own bubble wand before the trip.
JessicaYes.
TylerSmort.
JessicaThat's a great example. Oh my gosh. Yes, this is similar. Clian uh 1992 said, filling up my refillable resort mug at resorts I'm not staying at makes resort hopping a 10 out of 10. Yes, it does. Want to do a thing where I get like a different soda at every single one. Like, okay, I'm gonna get a coke here and just move on down the three if I'm doing resort. Yeah.
TylerOh, this is funny. Peyton Isabella said, wearing specifically themed clothes to the wrong park, like a Lion King shirt and Epcot.
JessicaThat is interesting. I also saw, where was it? Yes, uh, Ciara Scott13 said, staying off property feels illegal. Yeah, I could totally see that. Resort mugs in the park. That does feel a little illegal, which again, you can't really refill it, but you can bring it. You can just bring it, or like you could get again, like a Starbucks drink and pour it into it. Maybe it'll stay colder longer. Like those kinds of things. But also, yeah, just bringing in your own coffee in the morning.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
JessicaUh, but she also says wearing Disneyland or Universal merch in Walt Disney World. And I would say vice versa, too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
JessicaI'm wearing a Disneyland shirt today. So I'm I'm on I'm on the right path for being illegal. I don't know. I've lost my training thought.
TylerSometimes I start a sentence and I don't know where it's going. Katie B. Blair said, actually filling in the space they tell you to fill in feels like cutting, but it's not.
JessicaI know, because the people around you are like trying to like keep their place, but you're like, no, she's saying move forward. I'm just, I swear I'm not trying to cut you. Razzleberry 9 says, Being an adult and asking for pixie dust at the Bippity Bopity Boutique. That makes me so happy. Quinn Hot said, spending $20 plus dollars on a cocktail feels illegal and should be illegal. I know. Oh my gosh.
TylerUm, yeah, there's I would say half of these are bringing food into the park.
JessicaYeah.
TylerSo I'm not gonna read all of them, but there's a ton of them. Um, this one though, Chelsea Dacey said, stealing the Joffrey straws because they are hard sugarcane ones, not paper.
JessicaI'll take the I'll take a hundred, please. Alexis Mercedes 5 said, eating off property or just leaving the property in general. That is so true. I remember a time where um, I don't remember what it was, but we were you had you had a car. It was like one of the only times in Disney we've had a car. Like so we've driven down a few times and just driving to like go get something was so weird. So weird. Because if you're like us and you're used to flying in and you are just dependent on yeah, not not your own car and not a rental car, but like the kindness of strangers. No, yeah.
TylerWe drove down once and had our car, and then twice we've had a rental car there for various reasons.
JessicaWe had like a big, big group or whatever. But yeah, it always feels weird. Like if you like drive and go to like a Walgreens, like what? No, this can't be.
TylerDusty Dust Dustin said soda samples at Club Cool. Are you sure this is free? Walking out like I stole something.
JessicaTake your resort mug and just refill. That might be illegal. I don't know. Mary Chippy said, your mom will love this one.
TylerOkay.
JessicaOrdering kids' meals as an adult and bringing your own food. I always feel like they'll catch me. I don't even know if you're like allowed to order kids' meals. Like on the dining plane, obviously, it's gonna be a little different. But like, I think like you're supposed to be under a certain age, and I'm putting air quotes if you can't see me. But I don't think that they're really asking her.
TylerWell, and I think one time my mom had somebody, if I remember right, said that she couldn't, and it was, I don't know why, but it was but she just doesn't eat that much food. And so she's like, I don't need a big portion, so she would order child-sized stuff, which again, if you're doing the mobile order, you just order it and then go figure out.
JessicaYeah, we could we could, as one adult, order five kids' meals. How are they gonna know how I'm using these or who's a four?
TylerOne cast member one time where it's like, you can't order off the kids' menu, and she's like, just let me at Disney Springs though.
JessicaMaybe I'm trying to remember. I wonder if she'll remember, but I think that's why it's in my head. But yeah, the kids' meals uh still have like a decent amount of like food.
TylerYeah, exactly. Uh Lily Vin uh Vignalt, I'm gonna say, uh bringing my resort mug to a fancy resort for the Coke freestyle machines.
JessicaWhere are they, right? I know there's a list. I saw someone had like written a thing.
TylerI'm pretty sure at the Riviera. Yes, that's the one I'm thinking of. Uh we just saw it at the New Polynesian.
JessicaI really, oh my gosh, though. Getting a vanilla or like cherry added to a literally anything.
TylerYep. Oh my gosh. Oh, this is I want my own coke.
JessicaAll right, Tyler. For Christmas, I want my own Coke freestyle machine.
TylerIt's not the machine I object to, it's the 500 different flavor syrups we're gonna have to store. Okay, this is a really good one. Duns do Disney sharing memory maker with your whole family and not buying it four times. Yes. We just got annual passes for the first time. We hadn't done them in a few years.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
TylerAnd if we did it, if we all checked out at once, it was gonna add memory maker to everybody on the like all four of us. And so I bought their three separately, and then I bought mine with just memory maker on mine. Yeah. But yeah, that's you can then you can download all the photos and share with them. Even like my mom will go, you know, separately, and I'll just download her photos because she's sharing with me.
JessicaAll right. Hey, well, we've got a review to read. Um, we love when you guys share reviews with us on uh Apple Podcasts, it's the only place you can really do it.
TylerAll right, this is from Victoria Michelle W, Disney Vibes is the title. It says, uh, we just listened to these podcast episodes on our entire seven-hour drive home from Disney, and it helped avoid those Disney blues setting in. So glad we found this podcast. It's easily a new fave. Seven hours of us. I couldn't deal with seven hours.
JessicaYou're probably like, they've repeated the same thing. And they keep if they cut each other off one more time, I swear.
TylerIf they talk about mobile order one more time.
JessicaIf Jessica says, go get yourself a Coke one more time.
TylerWe get it. Oh goodness. Well, that was a very fun little episode. So I hope you guys enjoyed that. Um, and I think our next one we're gonna do is on the Disney Destiny.
JessicaBecause by then we will have been on it. Boop, boop, boop, boop, boop.
TylerAnd we got lots of vlogs coming up too. Anyway, our battery's about to die. I hope you guys enjoyed this episode.
JessicaLove you guys. See you guys later.
TylerBye.
