Cubs vs. Brewers for 1st Place + Trade Deadline Predictions

Welcome back to the Monday Morning Cubs Show and it's the most loaded one we've ever published. People are freaking out after a 3-3 week against the Royals and White Sox but it could have been much worse. The young guys stepped up and carried us to the Brewers series and now it's the biggest week of our lives. The veterans have slowed down. The competition is through the roof. And lurking above all of this is the biggest trade deadline since 2017 and it's not even close. We've waited so long and have watched so much average baseball to get back to this point - it's important we try to enjoy ourselves. Today's show is all about where this Cubs team is headed and the things that make us optimistic about a deep playoff run.
