Not All Clubs
After languishing for years on the back oval with second-hand balls, women’s footy has finally broken out of the dark ages… or has it? Join us as we put male dominated sports under the microscope to find out what’s really going on in local land. Is the growth of women’s sport truly a sign of deep change in these historically male spaces, or is there something less genuine lurking beneath the surface? We know there are good ones out there, surely it’s Not All Clubs.

In our second bonus episode of Not All Clubs - Not All Clubs are Safe, we’re talking about accountability in community sport, and the everyday behaviours that continue to make sporting spaces unsafe for women and gender-diverse people.
Joined by Dr Samantha Marshall from the Reducing Gender-based Violence Research Group (ReGEN) At Latrobe University’s Safer Sport team, we unpack why gender-based violence in clubs is about more than major incidents - it’s also about the cultures that silence, dismiss, and exclude.
This episode also highlights Wear Red Round, encouraging clubs across Australia to wear red from May 29–31 in support of safer sporting environments and greater accountability when harm is disclosed.
Because community sport should be safe for everyone.
