Not All Clubs
After languishing for years on the back oval with second-hand balls, women’s footy has finally broken out of the dark ages… or has it? Join us as we put male dominated sports under the microscope to find out what’s really going on in local land. We know there are good ones out there, surely it’s Not All Clubs.

In Episode 9 of Not All Clubs – Not All Slurs, we're talking about the language that still exists across community sport and why "it's just a joke" is never a good enough excuse.
From casual sexist comments and homophobic slurs to ableist language and the everyday remarks that often go unchallenged, we'll unpack how the words people use shape club culture and who feels welcome. We'll also discuss why intent isn't the same as impact, and why saying "we can't say anything anymore" misses the point entirely.
We'll reflect on the success of Wear Red Round, highlighting the clubs and volunteers driving positive change, before diving into the stories you've shared about the language you've heard on and off the field - revealing just how much work is still left to do.
Because creating inclusive clubs isn't just about what we do, it's also about what we say.
