We trained, equipped, and mobilized individuals and churches to evangelize outside their four walls. BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE EPISODE: Can you imagine dirtying your clothes by falling into mud or another noxious substance and not giving them a long soak in the washing machine? No? Sadly, however, we may neglect the time we need to soak in God's Word to rid ourselves of worldly spiritual grime and toxins that hinder our growth in Christlikeness. Today, we will examine the process of being made holy, set apart for God's purposes, called sanctification, and learn practical steps to grow from God’s Word. Our foundational scriptural passage for today is Ephesians 5:25b-26: “Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her to make her [the church] holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s Word.”
