Criminal defense attorney and former prosecutor Joshua Ritter breaks down the legal battle at the center of Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial ahead of opening statements Monday.
Clancy is accused of killing her three young children, Cora, Dawson and Callan, inside the family’s Duxbury, Massachusetts, home in January 2023. Her defense does not dispute that she killed the children but argues that she was not criminally responsible because she was suffering from postpartum psychosis. Prosecutors contend her actions were planned and deliberate.
