Welcome to, or welcome back to, the Faithfully Confident Podcast, where we talk about all things faith, sales and marketing. I'm excited. So today's episode we're going to dive a little bit into the topic of sales and just that fear and that anxiety that some of you get around just not even the word selling, but just selling your services, selling and putting yourself out there, putting your offers out into the world. We are going to dive into that today. So, without further ado, let's pray. Heavenly Father, we come before you today with hearts open and minds ready to receive your wisdom. Lord, we thank you for the gifts and talents you have placed in each and every one of us. Lord, help us to remember that these are not for our own glory, but to serve and bless others. In your name, father, we ask that you remove any fear or doubt that tries to hold us back from fulfilling the purpose that you've called us to. Lord, strengthen our faith so that we may step out boldly, trusting that you are guiding us in every decision. Lord, may we walk in confidence, knowing that you are the source of strength and that with you, all things are possible. Lord, help us to use the abilities you've given to us to make a difference, and let everything we do reflect your love and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray amen.

Have you ever felt paralyzed by the fear of putting yourself out there? Whether it's offering your services, pitching a new idea or even just sharing your expertise in general, the fear of rejection or not being good enough, it can hold you back. I've been there too, and it can feel very overwhelming. But I realized something it's not me that I'm putting out there. I want to repeat that it's not me that I'm putting out there. When you are selling, it is not you that you are putting out there, and that is a lot of what people are afraid of is their. I don't want to put myself out there. I don't want to put myself out there.

It's the gifts that God has entrusted to you, your work, your services and the value that you bring to others. It isn't about promoting yourself, but it's about serving others with what you are good at. There are people out there who need what you have to offer, and staying stuck in that fear and disbelief, it not only holds you back, but it also denies them the help that they're seeking. They have been praying for your services. They have been praying for what you have to offer, and that's what I want to talk about today is overcoming that fear with with a heart rooted in your faith and the understanding that God has called us to step out. God has called us to use those gifts, those talents, and trust him with the outcome. So let's dig deep into that today. So again, it's not about you. It's not about the value you bring. It's not about you. It's about the value that you bring. I want you to remember that when you are offering your services, you're not selling yourself. You're sharing a solution that someone else desperately needs. They have been praying for the answer that you are about to provide them, and if you stay stuck in that fear and remember.

2 Timothy 1.7 reminds us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and sound mind. And when that fear creeps in and holds you back, it's really important to recognize that this fear is not from God. He has equipped you with the strength and the wisdom to step out in faith. He has equipped you with the confidence and the courage to push through and persevere through the challenges and provide you with the solutions that you need to give to your clients, to give to your audience. God gifted you with these talents and abilities so that you can help others. And when you're holding yourself back with that fear, when you give into that fear of putting yourself out there, of pitching that idea, sharing your expertise, you know that fear of rejection, that fear of not being enough. Yes, there's a lot of fears out there, but fear is not from God.

I want you to step out in faith, not in disbelief. I don't know if you know this story or not, but Peter walked on water and when he kept his eyes on Jesus, the doubt still set in he to sink. And in the same way, when you're focused on that fear, you begin to sink in disbelief, but when you're focusing on christ and the mission that he's called you to that god-given purpose, you're going to find that courage and that strength to continue to move forward. I want you to trust God with the outcomes of what is happening within your life, within your business and when you are selling your services, when you are putting your services out there, when you're putting your offers out there, when you're putting your gifts and your strengths and your abilities out there into the world. I want you to put your trust into God and know that selling with confidence is also an act of faith.

By stepping out and sharing your services with confidence, you are trusting God to use your gifts and your talents for his purpose. You're not selling to take something from someone, and I know that's. Another huge disbelief is you can't take money from people because you're taking something away from them and you should just as a Christian, you should give your services away for free. No, you're selling to provide a solution that can improve their lives, and you're also glorifying God with your work when you offer your services with that excellence and that integrity, and you're also glorifying God with your work when you offer your services with that excellence and that integrity and you stay within your beliefs. You are glorifying God through your work. Your success isn't just for your benefit. It reflects the goodness and the provisions of God. When you continue to step out in faith and act within that, your service is a blessing to others.

I want you to step out today. I want you to step out today and I want you to remove that fear. Stop being paralyzed by that fear. That fear is just an emotion. It's not a truth. It's not. It's just an emotion. It is not a truth. It is just an emotion. It's not a truth. It's not. It's just an emotion. It is not a truth. It is just an emotion. It is put there from the enemy to stop you and to give you that paralysis so that you feel like you're not enough. You feel like you can't put yourself out there. You feel like you're not the expert in this area. It's so many things, but it's not. It's just an emotion.

Put your services out there, put your trust in God, give God the outcome and say you know what? This is what I offer, this is what I do. Here is the price, here's my services, and put it in God's hands and step away and walk away and trust that what is meant to here is the price, here's my services, and put it in God's hands and step away and walk away and trust that what is meant to happen is going to happen. We don't have to feel icky or pushy or salesy in any circumstances when we are putting our offers out into the world. Just like Sally has her ideal clients, susie has her ideal clients. You have your ideal clients too. So put your offers out there, because otherwise your ideal clients are going to find someone else who offers the same thing.

But you're never going to know that you can help those people unless you trust in yourself, unless you trust in your abilities and you realize that, hey, I am enough, I can do this, I am capable, I have God within me, I cannot fail and God blessed me with this purpose and this task. I can do it. I can do it. I can do it. I can do it. It's not about you. It's never, ever been about you. It is about the value that you bring. It is about the gifts and the talents and the abilities that God blessed you with to help others.

So get out there, push that fear aside and go and serve those people and fulfill that calling that God has called you to. You are meant to serve, you're meant to serve. You can do it, you are capable. I believe in you, I trust you and I know that God is going to give you everything that you need in order to take the next step.
