(0:00) If you're starting on your journey (0:02) and want to learn all things faith, (0:04) confidence, marketing, and sales, (0:06) you are in the right place. (0:08) If you enjoyed today's episode, (0:10) share this episode on your social (0:11) and tag me at shebloomsfaithly on Instagram. (0:14) I'll catch you later and enjoy today's episode.(0:16) Oh, and don't forget to subscribe. (0:24) Hey, hey, hey, you guys. (0:25) Welcome back to the Faithfully Confident podcast.(0:28) I am excited for today's episode (0:30) because we're diving into something (0:31) that will set the foundation for everything. (0:34) You want to accomplish in 2025, your mindset. (0:39) So here's the truth.(0:40) You can have the best strategies, (0:42) the biggest goals, and all the motivation in the world, (0:46) but if your mindset isn't aligned with God's calling, (0:50) you're going to continue to play small. (0:54) Truth bomb. (0:56) Anyway, so today we're talking about renewing your mind (0:59) so you can step into that bold faith-driven entrepreneur (1:03) that God called you to be.(1:05) We're letting go of the fear, letting go of the comparison, (1:09) letting go of the self-doubt, (1:10) and shifting into an abundance mindset. (1:13) We're going to be learning to dream bigger today, (1:16) not just according to what we think is possible, (1:19) but according to what God is capable of doing. (1:23) And spoiler alert, that's immeasurably more (1:27) than we could have ever imagined.(1:29) So by the end of this episode, (1:31) you'll be left with practical faith-filled steps (1:34) to start shifting your mindset (1:36) so you can fully embrace everything (1:39) that God has for you in 2025. (1:41) So grab a notebook, grab your Bible, and let's pray. (1:45) Heavenly Father, thank you for this new year (1:49) and the fresh opportunities that it brings forth.(1:52) As we step into 2025, we surrender our plans, (1:57) we surrender our fears, and we surrender our doubts to you. (2:01) Lord, we ask that you renew our minds (2:04) and align our thoughts with your truth. (2:07) Father, help us to break free from fear, comparison, (2:11) and self-doubt so that we may step boldly (2:15) into the calling that you've placed upon our hearts.(2:19) Lord, your word tells us in Romans 12 (2:21) to not conform to the patterns of this world, (2:25) but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. (2:30) So today, Lord, we invite you to do that work in us. (2:34) Father, shift our perspective from scarcity to abundance.(2:38) Shift our mindset from insecurity to confidence. (2:43) Shift our mindset from striving to trusting. (2:48) Lord, let us dream bigger (2:49) and not based on our own abilities, (2:52) but in full faith that you, you, Lord, (2:56) you can do exceedingly and abundantly (2:59) more than we could ever ask or imagine for.(3:02) Lord, you are an amazing Father (3:04) who is capable of so many amazing things. (3:08) Father, we declare that this year, (3:10) we will no longer play small. (3:13) Lord, we will trust in your plan.(3:15) We will walk in faith and embrace the boldness (3:19) and the confidence that comes from knowing (3:21) who you are in Christ. (3:23) Father, guide our steps. (3:26) Give us the courage to take action (3:28) in an alignment with your will.(3:30) Lord, we thank you in advance for all that you do (3:34) and all that you do through us this year, especially. (3:38) May everything we pursue bring glory to you. (3:42) In Jesus' name we pray, amen.(3:45) Hey, hey, guys, welcome back. (3:48) So today we are diving into episode three (3:51) of our four-part series (3:52) on stepping into your God-given potential for 2025. (3:57) In the last episode, we reflected on the past year (4:01) and we identified patterns (4:03) that may have kept us playing small, (4:06) but today we're doing something a little different.(4:10) We are shifting gears (4:11) and we're diving into the mindset transformation (4:14) that needs to happen in order to step (4:17) into that abundance and that boldness (4:19) and that unwavering faith and trust in God's plan for you. (4:24) So if you've ever struggled with fear, (4:27) comparison, or self-doubt, (4:29) then this episode is definitely for you. (4:32) We're talking about that, (4:33) renewing your mind, shifting that perspective, (4:36) and just embracing God's vision (4:38) for your life and your business.(4:40) So if you're ready, let's begin, (4:43) because this is where the transformation (4:44) is really gonna begin in this series. (4:47) So I would like to just start this episode (4:50) with one of the most powerful truths in scripture (4:52) when it comes to mindset, (4:54) and that is Romans 12, two. (4:57) So if you have your Bible, open it up, go highlight it, (5:00) write it down somewhere.(5:02) It's a very powerful scripture, (5:03) but it is, do not conform to the pattern of this world, (5:07) but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. (5:10) Then you'll be able to test and approve what God's will is, (5:13) his good, pleasing, and perfect will. (5:16) So that was Romans 12, two.(5:19) But your mindset, your mindset, you guys, (5:23) determines your actions, (5:25) and your actions determine your results. (5:27) But so many of us are letting those old thought patterns (5:30) keep us stuck in fear, and that doubt, and that hesitation, (5:34) and it just, it stops us from moving forward, (5:37) even though the steps are right in front of you. (5:40) God is calling you to take action.(5:42) He's telling you to be obedient, (5:43) but we're stuck in those patterns of the fear and doubt (5:47) that this is just our normal to us. (5:51) We're scared to take action (5:54) because of where we feel we are right now, (5:57) but those actions are going to be determining your results. (6:02) God is calling you to renew your mind daily (6:05) so that you can operate from a place of faith (6:08) instead of fear.(6:10) He doesn't want you to be fearful. (6:11) He wants you to be faithful. (6:13) And I'm not saying that when you are running a business, (6:19) you're not going to be scared, (6:20) because to be honest, (6:21) the biggest decisions I've had to make in my business, (6:24) I made while I was afraid, (6:26) but they were the best decisions I ever made.(6:28) Being afraid is, it's going to happen. (6:32) It's part of our life. (6:33) It's part of who we are as human beings.(6:35) It's part of our natural body's response to protect us, (6:38) to keep us safe. (6:39) But God doesn't want you to feel safe in your situation. (6:43) He wants you to feel safe and feel that comfort with him.(6:46) But God is calling you to take those steps. (6:50) He's telling you to get out of those old thought patterns, (6:53) to stop feeling stuck with those doubts and the hesitations (6:57) and all of the things that he just, (7:00) he doesn't want you there. (7:01) He doesn't want you there, guys.(7:02) So all those things that you're telling yourself (7:04) that you're holding onto, (7:06) like all those old beliefs from your past (7:07) that are not serving you. (7:09) You know, maybe you've told yourself, (7:11) I'm not good enough to succeed in this business, (7:13) or I don't have the confidence to sell. (7:16) No one's going to want to buy from me.(7:17) Other people are more qualified for me. (7:19) You get where I'm going with that. (7:22) It is time to release those lies (7:24) that the enemy is telling you (7:25) and replace them with God's truth.(7:29) So now let's talk about the biggest mindset traps (7:32) that are keeping us small. (7:35) There's fear, there's comparison, (7:37) there's self-doubt. (7:38) Those are some of the biggest ones (7:39) that I find come up with, (7:41) not only myself, but my clients as well.(7:44) So fear, obviously being the biggest one, (7:46) because we all have our own fears, (7:50) but fear of failure, fear of judgment, (7:55) fear of success is one that I didn't think was a thing (7:58) until it came up in my life. (7:59) And I'm like, oh my gosh, fear of success, that's a thing. (8:02) But guess what? (8:05) Fear is not from God.(8:08) 2 Timothy 1, 7 says, (8:10) for the spirit God gave us does not make us timid, (8:12) but gives us power, love, and self-discipline. (8:15) God did not give us fear. (8:17) He did not give us fear.(8:18) So stop making that fear a belief in your life. (8:26) Your fears are just, they're just an emotion. (8:29) It's not set in stone that this is how you have to feel.(8:32) This is how things are going to go. (8:34) It's just an emotion. (8:36) It's just that fight or flight response (8:38) that your body's telling you, (8:39) okay, I have to be afraid of this (8:41) because we don't know what's gonna happen (8:43) on the other side if we take action.(8:45) But God knows, that's why he's telling you, (8:47) I need you to trust me. (8:49) I need you to take action. (8:50) I need you to be obedient.(8:52) And when you do that, oh, it's gonna be so beautiful. (8:55) It's gonna be so beautiful, but you need to trust me. (8:57) He's trying to tell you that right now.(9:00) So the other one is comparison. (9:03) Oh, you guys, it is so easy to look, (9:06) especially with social media, at what others are doing (9:09) and to feel like you're not measuring up to them, (9:12) to feel like you're not doing enough, (9:13) to feel like you are maybe doing the wrong things (9:18) because they're not working. (9:20) But when you look at those people, (9:22) everybody has their own fears.(9:24) Everybody has their own journey. (9:25) Your journey is unique. (9:27) And you are called to run your own race.(9:30) Someone might be able to accomplish something in a day (9:34) that might take you a month, that might take you a year, (9:37) but how they're built is different than how God created you. (9:41) Some people work well under pressure. (9:43) I work fantastic under pressure.(9:45) That's when I thrive is under pressure. (9:48) But some people collapse under pressure. (9:51) They do not do well under pressure.(9:53) They freeze. (9:54) God created us all unique, (9:56) and I just want you to assess what your uniquenesses are (10:02) and embrace them, especially your journey. (10:08) So the next one is self-doubt.(10:13) I don't know about you, (10:14) but have you ever felt like you're not qualified (10:17) to do what God is calling you to do? (10:22) I know I have, I'm raising my hand here. (10:26) But the truth is God doesn't call the qualified. (10:29) He qualifies the called.(10:31) And I love that because there's some people out there (10:35) who are qualified, (10:37) but they're not really good at what they're doing. (10:40) They're not really that great. (10:42) But there's people out there that who are qualified.(10:46) It's like, oh, you look at this, (10:49) like you're applying to a job, (10:50) like to put this in a real life perspective and experiences, (10:54) you're applying to this job. (10:55) You have the skills, you have the abilities, (10:59) you know how to do it, (11:00) but you can't take the job because they require experience. (11:04) Well, how do you get experience (11:05) if no one's willing to hire you, right? (11:07) Like it's just such a funny cycle.(11:10) Anyways, I'm getting off topic there, (11:12) but God doesn't call the qualified. (11:15) He qualifies the called. (11:18) He qualifies you.(11:21) You are destined for success in this journey (11:26) that you are pursuing right now. (11:29) This desire that you have on your heart right now, (11:31) God placed it there because he qualified you. (11:34) He is equipping you when you are ready to jump, (11:37) when you're ready to leap, (11:38) he's going to catch you (11:39) and he's going to be with you on this entire journey.(11:42) You are qualified. (11:44) So don't have that doubt. (11:45) Don't feel like you're not qualified to do it (11:47) because he will be with you every step of the way.(11:51) So shifting into that abundance mindset now (11:55) as we kind of jump past that mindset aspect (11:58) is there's that scarcity mindset of there's never enough. (12:05) There's never enough. (12:07) I'm never going to make enough, (12:10) but the abundance mindset says God is my provider.(12:14) God is enough. (12:15) I will always be provided for. (12:18) When we talk about Matthew 6, 33, (12:23) seek first his kingdom and his righteousness (12:25) and all these things will be given to you.(12:28) God's resources are unlimited. (12:31) His blessings are not scarce. (12:34) His blessings are not far and in between.(12:36) They're always there if you look for them. (12:38) They're always there when you place your trust (12:41) in his provision and you step into a place of abundance, (12:44) a place of peace, a place of confidence. (12:46) Those are the best places that you could possibly be (12:50) as a faith-driven entrepreneur is to just know (12:53) that God's resources are always available to you.(12:56) When I was at my lowest point in my business (12:59) and there was no way, like absolutely no way (13:03) I should have made any money that month whatsoever, (13:06) I made the most money I could have ever made in my business. (13:10) I was just shocked and blown away, but it was God. (13:14) It was a God thing.(13:15) I literally cried and screamed in my closet (13:18) like I can't do this anymore, Lord. (13:20) I'm not qualified to do this. (13:22) This is not working for me.(13:25) And he kept telling me to keep going, keep pushing (13:27) and to take action and be obedient (13:29) and just trust that everything's gonna work out. (13:32) And lo and behold, it worked out. (13:35) God is always there.(13:37) He's equipping you, he's qualifying you (13:39) and you just need to hold that faith, (13:41) have faith the size of a mustard seed and just keep going (13:44) because it may not seem like things (13:46) are gonna happen right now, but when you hold that faith (13:49) and you keep going, his blessings are there (13:53) right around the corner. (13:54) You just need to trust that they're there. (13:56) And I'm not saying that God's a magical genie.(13:58) That's not anything I'm saying by any means. (14:00) I'm just saying that God is our provider (14:01) and he's always there for us. (14:03) He is our faithful and loving father (14:05) and he will never forsake us and never leave us.(14:08) He's always there for us. (14:10) So whether it's maybe, you know, (14:13) maybe you want something to work out in a certain way (14:16) and he's pushing you in a different direction (14:18) and you may not realize it, (14:19) that's the way he's providing for you is saying, (14:22) no, that's not what I have for you right now. (14:25) This is not for you right now.(14:28) This is what I have for you right now. (14:30) And he's pushing you in a different direction. (14:32) Like no matter what it is, he's always there for you.(14:34) You just need to trust and have faith (14:36) and just always be listening to what he has for you. (14:40) So with 2025, like are your goals (14:44) based on maybe what you think is possible (14:47) or what God is capable of? (14:49) Because as I mentioned, (14:51) God is capable of some pretty crazy things. (14:55) Like he, that's like a whole podcast topic on its own.(15:01) But in Ephesians 3.20, it says, (15:04) now to him who is able to be, (15:07) who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask for, (15:11) imagine according to his power that is at work within us. (15:15) Like it says in the Bible (15:17) that God is able to do more than we can possibly imagine. (15:20) It's written in the Bible (15:22) that God can do more than we can imagine.(15:25) God's vision for your life is bigger (15:28) than what you can see right now. (15:29) You can't see the full picture. (15:31) It's like when you're doing a puzzle, (15:33) if you do it piece by piece, (15:35) you know that eventually you're gonna finish the puzzle.(15:37) Eventually you're gonna get to the end, (15:39) but you can only see it piece by piece by piece. (15:42) So stop setting goals based on your own limited understanding (15:47) of what you're capable of (15:49) and what you believe is possible right now. (15:52) And instead start asking God, (15:55) what do you want to do through me? (15:59) What do you, God, want to do through me? (16:02) How are you going to use me and be obedient? (16:07) So to end today's episode, (16:10) I have a few things for you, (16:12) some actionable steps for you to take after this.(16:15) So what I have is I want you to write down (16:20) one mindset shift that you want to focus on in 2025. (16:25) Maybe it's trusting God's provision (16:27) instead of worrying about money. (16:29) Maybe it's believing in yourself (16:31) and the calling that he's placed on your life.(16:34) Maybe it's believing in yourself (16:35) that you are equipped and qualified (16:38) and you're capable of doing this. (16:40) Maybe it's letting go of fear (16:41) and stepping out in bold confidence (16:45) and unwavering faith that you can do this. (16:48) Whatever it is, write down that one mindset shift (16:51) and I want you to put it somewhere (16:52) that you can see every single day.(16:55) And then the other one I have for you (16:56) is I want you to find that one scripture (16:59) that supports this mindset shift. (17:02) I want you to write it down. (17:03) I want you to meditate on it (17:05) and just let it be your anchor (17:06) as you step into the new year.(17:09) So that is what I have for you. (17:12) But wow, that was a crazy conversation that we had today. (17:18) Crazy, crazy episode.(17:19) So I really hope that this episode (17:21) challenged you to shift your mindset (17:24) and to start believing bigger for 2025. (17:28) And next week, we're gonna be wrapping up (17:30) this four-part series with the final episode (17:34) and it's gonna be a really, really great episode. (17:36) You definitely don't wanna miss it.(17:37) So make sure you're subscribing. (17:40) And again, if today's episode blessed you, (17:43) screenshot this episode, share it on Instagram, (17:45) tag me at shebloomsfaithfully. (17:56) All right, you guys have a fantastic week (17:58) and I will see you for next week's episode. (18:30) See you around.
