SPEAKER_01:

If you've ever felt certain uncertain about stepping into your business calling, especially when it comes to sales, then today's episode is for you. We are diving into why you're called to sell and how embracing your purpose can transform the way you approach your business. So if you are ready and you want to learn how to sell with confidence and just why it is that as Christians, we are called to sell. It is our calling. This is for you. So if you're ready, let's pray, you guys. Heavenly Father, thank you for every person listening to this right now. Lord, I praise you for you the unique gifts and talents you've placed within each and every one of them. Father, you've called them to build, to create, and to serve, not just with their hands, but with their hearts and their businesses. Lord, I ask that you open their hearts today to receive the truth that they are not only allowed to sell, but you have called them to sell. You've called them to step into the marketplace and share what you've given, given them, given to them with others. God, I pray that you would remove any guilt, fear, or doubt that they may carry around the idea of making money. Father, help them understand that profit is a tool. It is a tool to serve others, to bless their families, and to further your kingdom. Let them see their business as an extension of your mission and let them walk in obedience to what you've called them to do. Lord, I pray for the courage to step out in faith even when it feels uncomfortable. Help them to see that stepping into their calling fully is not about pride, but rather about stewarding what you've entrusted to them. Remind them that when they serve others with their gifts, they honor you. Father, give them clarity, confidence, and a boldness to move forward, knowing that you are with them every step of the way. I ask that you would open doors of opportunity that no one else can shut, and give them favor in the eyes of their clients, their customers, and within their community. Let their businesses be a reflection of your love, your grace, and your goodness. May their work be an act of worship and may everything that they do be done with excellence, integrity, and just a complete unwavering faith in you, Lord. Thank you for your incredible plans that you have for their lives. Lord, we trust you with the outcome and we surrender all of our plans to you. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Hey, hey, hey! All right, let's begin. So if you've ever wondered whether it's okay to sell what God has called you to create, I want to set you free from that today. That disbelief that as Christians we cannot sell, we cannot charge, we cannot make money. You are called to sell. And I know that sounds strange at first, but selling is something that many entrepreneurs wrestle with, especially Christian entrepreneurs. It feels like something's so sacred or personal, but I want you to understand this. Understand this, guys. God did not give you a gift or this business plan just to stay hidden and tucked away. You are called to share with others. And yes, that means you're going to have to sell. I know we're not in the in the business to make money, it is our calling, but we do have bills to pay. We have to sell in order to keep doing our purpose, in order to fulfill our mission. This is our calling. So let's start with the foundation. Business is not just a job or just a side hustle. It is it's an assignment from God. You were literally created with this unique skill set, these unique talents and solutions that is it's going to impact those around you. There's people praying for what you have, and you are too scared to get yourself out there and use those gifts and turn them into a business. You are fulfilling the calling that God placed on your life. And this is not just about prophets, it's about purpose. Let's let's sit let's sit on this for a moment. Let's anchor into Romans 12 6. If you have your Bible, open it up to Romans 12 6. It says, We have different gifts according to the grace given to each of us. Those gifts, they are meant to be shared, and that includes sharing them in a way that honors God. And yes, that involves selling. You have to sell. Selling is it's a service, sales is a service, and when we think of sales, it's easy, especially in the online industry, to think of pushy sales tactics and manipulative strategies. I can't talk tonight. Manipulative strategies, but that's not what we're going to talk about here. We do not share manipulative strategies on this podcast. If you are new, we do not do that on here. We are in the kingdom of God. Sales is a service. Selling isn't about convincing someone to buy something they don't need. It's about offering something that will genuinely help heal or improve their life. You are serving people. You're serving people by giving them an opportunity to experience transformation, whether that's in the form of a product, form of a service, form of a just a solution. You have the solution to their problem. And when you sell from that place of integrity and faith and within your values, you are providing a valuable service to those who actually need it. We don't sell to people who don't need our services. Not everybody needs what it is that you sell, and that's okay, because there's people out there who do, which is why we do not waste our time convincing people to buy something they do not need because that's manipulative, it's icky, it's gross, and we just don't do it. We are not pushy. We do not push in this podcast. I do not teach you to push. So if something feels off in your sales strategy, it's probably because you're being pushy or you're being manipulative, and we need to shake that. So, anyways, um I could talk about this forever. Um, but profit is it's a tool, it's not a sin. We are in we're not in this, like I said, to make money, but we are money is a byproduct of sell of sales. It's a byproduct of how many people you are helping. And a lot of Christian entrepreneurs struggle with the idea of making money. We have been taught that the pursuit of profit and sales is selfish, it's greedy, but that's just not true. Scripture literally tells us that God gives us the ability to produce wealth, not so we can hoard it, but so we can steward it well. God wants to give his children money so that we can do good things with it. Profit is a tool that enables you to support your family, to continue to fund this vision, this mission of yours. It it allows you to bless others, it allows you to just continue to grow your business to serve more people. God gives you the ability to make money, but it is up to you to use it for his kingdom purposes. The temptation is real to shrink back and avoid selling because it feels uncomfortable or because we don't want to hear or be that person who talks about money. But here's the truth. Here's the truth, you guys. Not stepping into your calling fully is actually being disobedient. You are not being obedient to God's purpose for you. You are being disobedient, you are not surrendering, you're not allowing yourself to fully step into your calling. You don't need to wait for that permission, you don't need to hide behind a humble excuse. When you feel called to sell, you step out in that obedience and you sell. Whether you're sitting on an airplane and you're talking about your products to the person beside you because you feel that nudge from God going, Hey, that person needs what you're selling, chances are they need what you're selling. And to be truthful, I've actually had that exact same situation happen to me, which is probably why it just popped in my head now. When I was selling a product previously to this business, I was talking just to a person beside me on the plane, had a casual conversation, and I was we were talking about fitness, and I ended up offering them what it was that I was selling, and they ended up signing up and selling, and they were a fantastic team member and it changed their life, yada yada yada. Not the point of this, but the point of this story and this example is that if you feel that nudge to step out and sell, you don't need that permission, you don't have to have that, you know, hide behind that humble excuse. If you feel called to sell, step out and talk to that person, step out and share what it is that you offer because you might be that person that they have been praying for, you might be the solution that they have been praying for. And if you be if you lead that that situation in disobedience, you're not answering their prayers, and that that's sad. That's really sad. So let's just let's step out in obedience, let's get uncomfortable because selling is uncomfortable, it's a skill. It has taken me so long to master sales, and there's still times when I'm uncomfortable, it's constantly growing and I'm molding just like you. But selling is a skill you need to sell in order to step into your calling. God is calling you to business, and selling is part of owning a business. That is how you honor God. You honor God by trusting that He has equipped you for this work, He's called you into this business, and you are going to how do I word this? You're just you're called you're called to sell. Stop questioning if you're able to sell because you can. Everybody can sell. It's a skill, it's something that is learned. So it's not just about making money, but it's to serve, it's to grow, it's to impact others with the gift that God has given you. So stop seeing sales as a burden and start seeing as part of your kingdom mission. You are a kingdom-led entrepreneur. You are listening to this podcast because you are a kingdom-led entrepreneur. And if your business is one of the ways God is using it to fulfill your purpose in this world, then get out there and sell. Get out there and sell. Whether it's an Instagram post, whether it's a live stream, whether it's a conversation in person, whether it's an email, it's a whatever it is, get out there and sell. You cannot be the answer to someone's prayers if you are standing back and just hoping and praying that this business works out, hoping and praying that your clients come to you, hoping and praying that you make a sale today. You have to step out in bold confidence and share what it is that you have to offer. So if this episode spoke to you and you are ready to step into your calling and grow your business with that confidence, I really, really, really, truly want to help you and support you. I'm opening up spots for my one-on-one coaching, which I have not done in two years. So I'm super excited about it.
