Hey, hey, hey! Welcome to the Faithfully Confident Podcast with Christian Confidence Coach Courtney Berry. That's me. This podcast was created for those of you who God called to become entrepreneurs and you desire the confidence, pursue a business. If you're starting on your journey and want to learn all things faith, confidence, marketing, and sales, you are in the right place. If you enjoyed today's episode, share this episode on your social and tag me at She BloomsFaithly on Instagram. I'll catch you later and enjoy today's episode. Oh, and don't forget to subscribe. Hey, hey, hey. Welcome back to the Faithfully Confident Podcast. Today we are talking about something that I truly believe every faith-driven entrepreneur needs, and that is learning how to pray over your business with power, with boldness, and just with that expectation. Because prayer, it isn't a checklist. It's a foundation of everything that we build. We want God within our business. And when we pray, we are inviting Him into our business. And maybe you've been showing up, creating, posting, and selling, but it feels like something's been missing. Maybe you've been operating more in your own strength than a place of surrender. I have been there too. And today we're going to talk about how to bring your business back to the feet of Jesus and invite him into every part of your business. So if you are ready, let's begin this episode and let's pray, you guys. Father, we come before you right now, not as entrepreneurs chasing numbers, but as your children seeking your presence. God, we thank you for the dream you placed inside of us. Thank you that this business isn't just a random business. It's it's an assignment. You called us to create, you called us to serve, you called us to impact and to reflect your kingdom here on earth. Lord, I lift up every listener tuning in right now, every woman, every man who feels tired, uncertain, and unseen. I pray, Holy Spirit, that you would meet them right now where they are, in their car, in their kitchen, in their office, and just fill that space with your presence, Lord. God, breathe fresh wind into dry places. Where there's been discern discouragement, pour out divine confidence. Where there's been confusion, release the clarity. Where there's been striving, Lord, teach us to rest in your rhythm of grace. Father, we surrender our businesses to you completely. Our offers, our ideas, our income, our influence. Lord, it is all yours and we give it to you today. If there's anything that we're building that's not from you, oh Lord, please strip it away from us. But if it is from you, breathe life into it, multiply it, expand it. Let us give glory to your kingdom. Father, give us boldness to speak about what we carry, wisdom to lead with integrity, and the discernment to recognize those divine opportunities when they come. Father, we declare right now that every client that we serve, every message that we share, and every sale we make will advance your kingdom. That through our obedience, lives will be changed, not because of us, but because you move through us. Lord, come and take over our businesses. We choose to partner with you today in this season. We won't rush ahead, we won't hold back, we will follow and we will let you lead, Lord. Anoint our hands to build our voices to speak life, our hearts to remain pure before you. And we call forth those connections, those provisions, and just open doors that no man can shut, Lord, and you are the only one that can open those doors. Father, when fear tries to creep in, remind us that you've already gone before us. And when doubt whispers, oh, let your word roar louder. When we feel small, remind us that we are we are the children of a king and we lack nothing. God, we give you the glory, the credit, and the control. May we seal seal this prayer with gratitude, with expectation, and with complete faith, believing that from this moment forward something will shift within us and within our business. In this Jesus, we pray. Amen. I want to start this episode today sharing a very powerful story with you guys about when I first started my business. I don't know if many of you have heard this story or not, so I want to share it again because it it really shows the power of surrendering. So when I first started my business, I had nothing lined up. I had no clients, I had no safety net, and I just had faith and just that that thought from God saying, Hey, I need you to quit your job, and I need you to start this business. And again, remember, I had no clients, no safety net, nothing lined up. Like I did not know what I was doing. All I knew is that I hated my job and it was time to quit, and God had this big plan for me. I was not ready, but I knew I needed to surrender and I knew I had to be obedient and to be faithful and just follow through with it. So I remember sitting there and having just quit my nine to five thinking, okay, Lord, you said to do this, so I'm trusting that you're gonna provide. And he did, but not in the way I was expecting. I wasn't an over I wasn't an overnight success. It was just one small step of obedience after another. And it was praying over my business every single day, even when there was nothing to show for it. And that season taught me that surrender isn't weakness, it's where God shows up the strongest. And in Proverbs 16, 3, it says, Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. That's not a one-time thing, it's it's a daily thing. It's a daily surrender. It's handing God your schedule, your strategy, your sales, your vision, and just trusting that he's gonna make it align with his will. I used to separate my strategy sessions from my prayer time. Like one of them was spiritual, okay? So one of them was spiritual, and the other one was about business. Like I used to separate them completely, they were never combined. And I actually remember when I first started my business, I used to completely separate God from my business. Like He was not a part of my business at all. I did not talk about God. And then I remember that feeling of discernment of like, hey, this isn't right. Like, no, they are one. Like, this is the plan that God has for me. So God needs to be in my plan, He needs to be out there. I need to speak about Him. I need to share what He's doing in my business, in my life. And that was when they kind of started combining. And I felt the enemy attacking me during this moment because I was getting people reaching out to me saying, Hey, Courtney, you should maybe not talk about God in your business. That's very unprofessional. And you're gonna you're not gonna get get clients if you talk about God, and it's like, um, excuse me. That is by the farther from the truth than it could possibly be. I need to shout at the top of my lungs that God blessed me with this business and this purpose, and he qualified and equipped me for this divine purpose. Not hide him. I do not need to hide him. But, anyways, we're going on a bit of a tangent there. So let's go back. So invite God into your strategy. You you can pray while you're while you're planning. You can invite the Holy Spirit into your brainstorming sessions. Ask him questions like, Lord, what do you want me to focus on this season? What do you want me to focus on today? Who are you calling me to serve today? How do you want me to serve them? How do you want me to show up today? Questions like that are so powerful in your business. And I've learned that when you pray through your strategy, you are going to receive clarity. You can't get from any online course, from any mentor out there. God gives direction. He does not give like God gives direction that no algorithm can provide. No algorithm, no course, no video, no podcast, no nothing. God gives you that direction personally. And you can like when things get hard, our our instinct is to fix it ourselves. So we always go, like, oh, what's the best what's the course out there that's gonna, you know, fix this for me? What's like what training can I take? What masterclass can I take? What mentor can I sign up to work with? But God wants you to bring those challenges straight to him because he has the answers. Remember, he's the one that equipped and qualified you for this purpose. He has the answers for you if you're willing to go to him. And I can't tell you how many times I've prayed over my business that felt like it was falling apart, or asked God to help me have the right words and sales conversations before I started mastering sales. And sometimes he didn't change the outcome right away. But he did always change my heart. He gave me that peace, even when those numbers didn't add up. It is prayer, it is prayer, you guys, that keeps us anchored when the outcome isn't what we hoped for. It keeps our focus on who is leading us and not what we can control, because we always want to be in control. It is natural for us to want to be in control. That's why surrendering is so hard for us. And I want you to, if you have your Bible with you or if you have a piece of paper with you right now, I want you to write down these scriptures because they are going to be such a powerful business tool for you when you don't know what to pray and you just want to speak God's promises within your business. You don't have to have to pray. You just need to know these scriptures. And these verses are going to remind you that your business isn't it isn't built on trends, it's not built on algorithms, but it's built built on the truth. So this is the prayer that I use when I am praying, and I just I took all of these from the Bible. It is literally word per word of scriptures in the Bible. And if you want a copy of this exact prayer that I use, the one that I pray before launches, coaching calls, big decisions, etc., just DM me the word prayer over Instagram at SheBloomsFaithfully, and I will send it your way. So what it says is, if I remain in God and God's words remain in me, ask whatever I wish and it will be done for me. All things that I ask for in prayer, believe I will receive, but when I ask, I must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. I do not have because I have not asked, and when I did ask, I asked with the wrong motives. Lord, I am asking and I am ready to receive. Lord, I am seeking and I'm ready to find. Lord, I am knocking and ready and fully prepared for you to open the doors. Amen. So if you want a copy of that prayer, just send me the word prayer at She Blooms Faithfully on Instagram, and I would love to send it your way. Because I want you to have something tangible that you can speak over your own business with confidence and faith. And just if you were like me and you just didn't know how to pray, that's a great prayer for you to pray over your business. So you don't need the perfect words to pray over your business. Like I said, those are all taken from scripture. Every word on there is scripture word per word, other than like the end that I am ready to find, I am knocking. I mean, those are paraphrased, but they are in the Bible. But the rest of it is all just scripture. When you pray, it isn't a formula, it's a relationship. It's saying, God, I want, I don't want to build this without you. And when you do that, you're gonna start noticing that shift. You're gonna notice that that peace is now replacing that pressure and that faith is replacing that fear. You're not just running a business, you are running a kingdom assignment. This is your assignment on earth, is to run your ministry. So I want you to pray over it like it matters to heaven because it does. This is God's assignment for you on this earth. He equipped and he qualified you to run this business. So pray over your business. Invite him into your business. Be willing to have that heart to serve, be willing to fulfill that ministry that he blessed you with. And really, that's that's all I have for you guys today. But I just I pray that this episode served you, and if it did, it would mean so much to me if you left me a review on iTunes. I am setting a goal and the intention of getting a hundred written reviews this year. We are currently sitting at 35, so it's a big goal, but I know through God it is possible. So thank you. God bless you, and I will see you around for our next episode. Thank you for tuning in to today's episode. I pray it brought blessings and inspiration to your day and in your business.
