I'm your host, Courtney Berry, your Christian confidence coach. And today we're diving into something that's been really heavy on my heart. And that is you can't play small and expect God-sized results. Let me say that again. You can't play small and expect God-sized results. If God called you to it, he will sustain you through it. But you need to put in the work. And in this episode, we're going to unpack what that means for you as a Christian entrepreneur, especially when fear or uncertainty tries to hold you back. So if you are ready, let's take a moment and let's pray. Father, I thank you for every person listening today. For the business owner, the dreamer, the visionary, you've called to build something that carries that impact within us. Lord, remind us that we are the light of the world, a city on a hill that cannot be hidden. So today I pray against every lie that's told your sons and daughters that they're not enough, not ready, or not capable. Oh, those lies that we tell ourselves, Lord, remove them. You don't call the qualified, you qualify the called. Give us boldness today, Father. Boldness to speak about our offers, boldness to show up even when we don't feel ready. Boldness to trust that you will sustain what we've started, what you've started, Lord. Remind us that selling isn't selfish. It's a service when it's done with you at the center. Let this episode reignite a holy confidence in every listener to step forward in obedience and boldness. In Jesus' name. Amen. You know what's stopping most of us from that success? Fear of rejection. Fear of rejection is often masking that fear of success. And many of us, we're afraid of rejection. I know I was, and I know sometimes I still am. It creeps up every so often, if I'm being totally honest. But if we're honest, we're also afraid of success. It's not just the rejection, it's success because it's that uncertainty of what's gonna happen. Success comes with that visibility. It comes with responsibility, and it comes with a lot of change. But here's the truth if God called you to it, he's already equipped you for it. You are ready. You just need to mentally prepare for it and be okay with being obedient and stepping into that role and having that visibility, having that responsibility and having that change. You don't have to fear the growth that comes with obedience. You just have to trust that the same God gave you the vision is going to give you the capacity to carry all of that. You are capable. And it's time that you let go of that fear of rejection and just show up as that big bold version of you that God created and to step out of that fear of success and be okay with being visible, being okay with having that responsibility, and being okay with change. Because again, he gave you that vision, he called you to it, and he's already equipped it, equipped you for it. He's just waiting for you to be obedient and to be ready. It's not that you haven't had the ability to meet that success that you want. It's that you you're you're stepping into the kiddie pool when he wants you out into the big ocean. You are literally dipping your toes into a little kiddie pool and going, why am I not successful yet? Why are the clients not coming to me? Why, why, why, why, why, why? When God's going, just jump into that deep end, jump into the ocean. I'm ready, I will catch you, I've called you, I've equipped you, but you need to be willing to take that big scary step and be obedient. They never said being successful was, you know, a straight road. Like it's it's up and down, it's a roller coaster, but he's going to catch you along the way. So again, with that, you know, being with that success, there is selling. You have to sell in order to be successful, in order to meet that purpose that God has for you. So with having an offer, you have to sell. And a lot of us step back as soon as it comes to selling because we don't want to be salesy. But in order to be obedient, we have to sell. Here's the truth, you guys. You have to sell as a business owner. No matter what business you have, you're going to be selling. So when your offer is something you've built with that prayer and intention, I will remind you right now, you're not being salesy, you're being obedient because God placed that offer in your hands and went, here you go. You are the person that I want to sell this. You are the answer to someone's prayer. There is someone out there that is praying for this very thing that you've created. And when you hide your offer, you're not being humble. You're withholding a blessing that someone's been praying for. You are literally the answer to someone else's prayer, and you are hiding it because you're scared of being salesy, you're afraid of that success, you're afraid of being seen, but you need to be visible. You have to be okay with being visible. It is okay to be seen. It is okay to be seen. It might be scary at first, but when you step out, I assure you that God is going to catch you. And selling selling becomes it becomes basically a sacred thing when your motive is service and your message, your message and how you lead those conversations. And that is something I teach in my confidence sales academy, is just being led by God and being obedient with the sales process. Your message is led by the Holy Spirit. He is with you every step of the way. So another thing is just I want to share a little bit about just being bold. Because a lot of people think, like, oh, well, I can't sell this because who am I to sell this? Because, you know, you're you're afraid of being that big person who's capable of getting those results for other people because you don't know if you can get those results. God again, God placed this desire on your heart for a reason. So stop stepping out in fear and step out in obedience, step out in bold confidence. Boldness isn't arrogance, it's being obedient and trusting in who sent you to this mission. This, like, this is your service, this is your ministry, your business is your ministry. This podcast is my ministry. Sometimes I don't want to do it. Sometimes I'm like, who wants to listen to me? Who wants to listen to me talk? Like, but we are currently top 3% globally. He knew that God put him in that position. He knew that God would not let him down. He knew his purpose right then and there was to face that Goliath. And he went out with a slingshot. A slingshot, you guys. A big giant Goliath. And he comes out with a slingshot and defeats him. The same is true for you. You can't play small and expect God to move big. You can't put your feet into the kiddie pool. You have to step into the big wide ocean. You have to go to the deep end. You have to put yourself out there because that is when God is going to start moving things in your life, is when you are willing to get uncomfortable, when you are willing to step out in that fear and know that faith requires movement. It doesn't require perfection. It just requires movement. It doesn't require proof, just requires movement and obedience. So maybe you've been waiting for the perfect timing. Maybe you've been playing small, hoping that someone else would validate what God's already confirmed in you. But your obedience, my friend, is the key that unlocks God's next step for you. You don't need to see the whole staircase. You just need to take the next step. You don't need to see the whole picture. You just need to take the next step. Your business isn't about building your name, it's about building his kingdom. And that means you can move forward with peace. Knowing that you are like the creator of the universe is building this business with you. He is with you. And when you have that peace in your heart and know that he is with you every step of the way, he's equipped you, he is qualified, and you can do this. You're you're just as capable as I am. You're just as capable as your business owner next door to you, or Susie or Sally, or whoever. Why do I always say Susie and Sally? I don't know. But stop shrinking back. You were made to shine his light in what you do. Let everybody know that your business was built through faith and obedience and that God is the center of your business. God is the CEO of what you do.
