There's new things happening all the time. There is a glory. Yes, very healthy. Obviously, very different environment to maybe those that you've been in previously"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":315.0,"endTime":315.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":315.0,"endTime":320.0,"body":"growing up in. Is there anything else that's really surprised you since joining Unity?"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":320.0,"endTime":321.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":321.0,"endTime":326.0,"body":"I think there's maybe two things. I pleasantly surprised because I didn't have joined if I"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":326.0,"endTime":326.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":326.0,"endTime":332.0,"body":"didn't think these things would both come out eventually. But I think the first is the genuine"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":332.0,"endTime":332.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":332.0,"endTime":338.0,"body":"excitement from clients that real embracing, we still have a huge amount of proof, right? No doubt."},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":338.0,"endTime":338.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":338.0,"endTime":346.0,"body":"But that real embracing of our philosophy of the way that we show up, of our expertise,"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":346.0,"endTime":346.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":346.0,"endTime":349.0,"body":"of how we've embraced technology. So I think that that kind of real genuine,"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":349.0,"endTime":350.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":350.0,"endTime":355.0,"body":"even just watching clients react and saying that is what we've been missing."},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":355.0,"endTime":356.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":356.0,"endTime":361.0,"body":"And so I think that's the first thing. And then the second thing would be just the energy from"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":361.0,"endTime":361.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":361.0,"endTime":366.0,"body":"the teams. I mean, we've got a lot of energy. We've having a lot of fun. But the teams who joined"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":366.0,"endTime":366.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":366.0,"endTime":371.0,"body":"us as well, they are, and you talk about kind of decision making and the empowerment that's there"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":371.0,"endTime":371.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":371.0,"endTime":375.0,"body":"is real. And it's quite infectious. There's almost this flywheel of creativity happening."},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":375.0,"endTime":376.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":376.0,"endTime":381.0,"body":"And I'm sure you'll hear from a lot of them later, but it really just is this kind of that"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":381.0,"endTime":381.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":381.0,"endTime":391.0,"body":"that's infectious enthusiasm to create products, to create flows that make, just drive at real"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":391.0,"endTime":391.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":391.0,"endTime":396.0,"body":"outcomes for clients. So that's been cool to see. This is really interesting what you're doing. How can I help you? And here's what I think about sort of what you're doing. So helping us to shape"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":425.0,"endTime":426.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":426.0,"endTime":433.0,"body":"our thinking with some real honest feedback coming from the place of we want you to succeed."},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":433.0,"endTime":434.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":434.0,"endTime":436.0,"body":"That's really good."},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":436.0,"endTime":438.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":438.0,"endTime":444.0,"body":"I think also that honesty is so important because it works both ways. We're really inviting honest"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":444.0,"endTime":444.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":444.0,"endTime":450.0,"body":"feedback from anyone who's given to us, which is great. But there's a real, to pick up your"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":450.0,"endTime":450.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":450.0,"endTime":455.0,"body":"point about being liberated, there's a real liberated honesty for us. When we are responding"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":455.0,"endTime":455.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":455.0,"endTime":464.0,"body":"to clients requests, we are not leaning on a crutch of case studies of this is work that we've"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":464.0,"endTime":464.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":464.0,"endTime":471.0,"body":"done. Everyone recognizes we all bring deep, deep collective expertise. But as a team,"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":471.0,"endTime":471.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":471.0,"endTime":476.0,"body":"this is where we are, we're new. And so being able to be really honest about that, to say,"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":476.0,"endTime":476.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":476.0,"endTime":482.0,"body":"this is what we collectively bring. This is who we are. And this is where we're learning,"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":482.0,"endTime":482.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":482.0,"endTime":486.0,"body":"is really refreshing. There's no pretense. And I think that's probably been the biggest,"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":486.0,"endTime":486.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":486.0,"endTime":487.0,"body":"the biggest change."},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":487.0,"endTime":487.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":487.0,"endTime":491.0,"body":"And I think my best, I think what I was proudest about the most just was the"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":491.0,"endTime":493.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":493.0,"endTime":500.0,"body":"level of interest from talent. So we've all worked in a lot of places. We've all been in the industry"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":500.0,"endTime":500.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":500.0,"endTime":505.0,"body":"and doing these things for a long time. So collectively, we know a lot of really, really good people,"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":505.0,"endTime":505.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":505.0,"endTime":510.0,"body":"but they're really, really good. And they've got, you know, they were very, you know, doing very"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":510.0,"endTime":510.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":510.0,"endTime":517.0,"body":"well where they were. But actually there was a real need in the industry, like,"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":517.0,"endTime":517.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":517.0,"endTime":523.0,"body":"kind of multi-other professionals for something different professionally. And I was really,"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":523.0,"endTime":523.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":523.0,"endTime":531.0,"body":"that for me was again self, self, kind of rewarding that we've made the right choice because it's"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":531.0,"endTime":531.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":531.0,"endTime":535.0,"body":"not just us, it's actually there's a whole plethora of professional people that are looking for"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":535.0,"endTime":535.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":535.0,"endTime":540.0,"body":"something different. And I was quite as far as initially by that."},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":540.0,"endTime":540.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":540.0,"endTime":545.0,"body":"I think it's that thing you, we all went into this, or certainly I did thinking,"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":545.0,"endTime":546.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":546.0,"endTime":553.0,"body":"this is the right time to do this from an industry perspective. It seems the right opportunity in"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":553.0,"endTime":553.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":553.0,"endTime":562.0,"body":"terms of the leadership, the back-in for it. And then when you get that validation with people,"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":562.0,"endTime":562.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":562.0,"endTime":568.0,"body":"you know, so we'll put out a linked impulse and we're hiring this and the recruitment team"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":568.0,"endTime":568.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":568.0,"endTime":573.0,"body":"just got a flood of people coming through. And we only now get to see the people that they're"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":573.0,"endTime":573.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":573.0,"endTime":579.0,"body":"sifted through. And you go, wow, these are really good people. I'm glad I'm not applying with them"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":579.0,"endTime":580.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":580.0,"endTime":587.0,"body":"because sort of I'd hire them. You want to watch this? Absolutely. But the talent that is coming"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":587.0,"endTime":587.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":587.0,"endTime":595.0,"body":"through and the people we've not been able to hire yet. It's just fantastic. Yeah, super."},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":595.0,"endTime":595.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":595.0,"endTime":600.0,"body":"For any of you, was there a real sort of pin drop moment where you thought, actually, yes,"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":600.0,"endTime":600.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":600.0,"endTime":609.0,"body":"I've got to join these guys. So I went through, I was looking at a number of other opportunities"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":609.0,"endTime":609.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":609.0,"endTime":615.0,"body":"and I had a way of thinking through where I wanted to go, what I wanted to do. Not a spreadsheet."},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":615.0,"endTime":618.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":618.0,"endTime":626.0,"body":"It was there in a digital format that was available for me, it's really flexible."},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":626.0,"endTime":627.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":627.0,"endTime":634.0,"body":"And I had a coach here, I was talking to, and she said to me, where would you regret"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":634.0,"endTime":635.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":635.0,"endTime":641.0,"body":"which opportunity would you regret not doing? And instantly, I said, well, whilst there was a"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":641.0,"endTime":641.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":641.0,"endTime":650.0,"body":"here's what I wanted to do. And it was just, yeah, this opportunity was so different and so appealing."},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":650.0,"endTime":650.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":650.0,"endTime":658.0,"body":"And possibly, it won't happen again. Certainly my career. And so there was just that crystallization"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":658.0,"endTime":658.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":658.0,"endTime":666.0,"body":"moment of, well, yes, it's the hat. Yeah. I think for me, it was selfishly what opportunity is going"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":666.0,"endTime":666.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":666.0,"endTime":675.0,"body":"to keep me relevant. Because I kept where I was before unity, all this AI technology was out there,"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":675.0,"endTime":675.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":675.0,"endTime":683.0,"body":"I wasn't using it myself. And it wasn't until I joined unity that my, yeah, my application of AI"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":683.0,"endTime":684.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":684.0,"endTime":694.0,"body":"increased dramatically through self, self preservation situation. But it was a, for me, that was,"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":694.0,"endTime":695.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":695.0,"endTime":700.0,"body":"where will I go next that's going to keep me relevant, that's going to put me on a really"},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":700.0,"endTime":701.0,"body":" "},{"speaker":"Speaker","startTime":701.0,"endTime":708.0,"body":"exponential learning curve and pushing me out of my comfort zone.
