Great day and welcome to the Selflessly Selfish Podcast. I just decided to turn on the camera today and just talk. The reason being is sometimes when you have no choice, it becomes the only choice. And at first I was like, that makes no sense. But yeah, it really does. It really does. Sometimes you have to remove all of the options and just do a thing. You'll hear me say that so God can do a thing. Do a thing so God can do a thing. Just decide that you know what? This is what I'm going to do today. I wanted to lay in, I wanted to sleep in. I felt like I was tired. And I said, you know what, Teresa, you accepted the challenge. I got 10 days where I got to get up and I got to get my body moving. And you just got to do it. And just do what you know to do. Do that thing that brings you joy. And you've been told for so long and so many years about who you are, what you should do, or what you could be doing. And today it's really about kingdom identity. And so I asked you today: what is your kingdom identity? Have you even asked God? Have you consulted God about the thing that you were placed here to do? What you're doing now, does it bring you joy? Does it make you feel like you're changing the world? You're being impactful? Or do you feel like you're spinning your wheels? I want to encourage you today. I want to encourage you today to spend time with God and ask him to reveal to you the thing that you were not only called but chosen to do. I'm talking about that thing that you do so well with the least amount of effort. Your kingdom identity. That thing in your life that you can clearly see God's fingerprint on. The thing that everyone knows that you are the go-to person for. That's it. I remember just before I became a life coach, and I could feel on the inside of me that there was something, something more that I should be doing, could be doing. And I kept telling myself, and even in my conversations with God, because I talk to him all the time. I talk to him all the time, and I kept saying, God, there just has to be more. There has to be something more. There has to be something more. It has to be something more than this just nine to five day-to-day. I know that I'm speaking to someone out there. I know that this word is resonant. I know that I cannot be the only one that have felt this and felt this way. And as I begin to talk to God and pray with him, spent time with him and ask, God, reveal to me that thing that you have called me to do. My gift to the world. So I ask you today, what gift has God given to you? And it's your gift to the world. Are you stewarding it well? It's time to remove all the options, all the other choices, and make the only right and rightful choice. And that's now to walk in purpose. I felt it, and I know you're feeling it. You were created for so much more. And it's time to step out and trust. Trust God, no matter what it looks like. We've been accustomed so long with the world's definition of what success is. Who has the right to be successful? Who has the right to do it, to create it, to bring this thing forth, to birth it. And I'm telling you today, the gift that God has placed on the inside of you was not just for you. It's your gift to the world. It's the way that you give back, it's the way that you show up. Because whether you believe this thing or not, there are people that are waiting for you, waiting for the gift that God has placed on the inside of you. And it's time for you to show up. It's time for you to decide that you know what? I'm ready to do a thing so that God can do a thing. You may be the very person that doesn't just change your life, your children's life, your spouse's life, your family life. But so many people in the world can use that gift that God has placed in you. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been there. Nothing wasted. Nothing is wasted. Every situation, every circumstance, every test, and every trial was leading you. It led me to this moment. And it was at the time when I felt, it was almost like you heard them in the world say what desperate times calls for desperate measures. Some of us have to get desperate. Some of us have to get to a point where, listen, you have no other choice but to do a thing. No other choice but to do a thing. Stir up the gift that's on the inside of you and trust that God is with you. There is no way that He's placed a gift on the inside of you and not equipped you to go forth and move in that thing. So I want to encourage you today to continue. Don't give up. Don't give in. Show up. Stay planted. So that that gift can begin to what? Spring forth in you. So that every individual that you've been placed here for, that needs that gift, they'll receive it. They'll receive it. Walk in purpose and do the thing that you were created to do. I love you with the love of Christ. I had no idea where this was going. And I'm telling you, sometimes you just gotta press the record, turn the camera on. Listen, just step out there on faith and do the one true thing that feels right to you. That thing in your heart, your kingdom identity. I love you with the love of Christ.
