It was so fun, it was a great time. It was a long process because we had I had work until 2 a.m. Then I was just like on a bender for many, many hours, which is why I think I keep falling asleep every night at 8 p.m. But it was so great to have my family here. And then for us to have a great meal. I haven't had a turkey in a long time. Have you?

My Thanksgiving? It was gorgeous and lovely and great, because I'm British. Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving.

Are you done? You're cute. Um I loved it. I I think that well, first and foremost, us Brits don't particularly celebrate Thanksgiving. It's not, you know, it's not like tied to the United Kingdom in any which way. So coming to America and hearing how people get around the table, share meal, break bread with their closest friends and family. I thought, oh, that's a very nice, it's a nice uh gesture. It's a it's a great get-together thing. Um but I won't say I've adopted it as something that I hold near and dear to my heart. I try to be grateful every day, but to have a particular day where everyone comes to, um, to just spend time with each other, eat um a really nice smell that I think that's a great time. So I think this Thanksgiving having your family come down, mom and dad, aunt, auntie, I think that was a really beautiful thing. Of course, I would have loved to have my family have my friends around. We ain't really got a big enough place, but um I I enjoyed it. I I did like it. I did take a nap. I said, wake me up right before the food was ready.

You baked some delicious cinnamon rolls. We ate that, chopped up some good game. Then I said, Let me take a nap. Took a two-hour nap, came, woke up, ate the meal. It was beautifully done.

You went to go into detail? Yeah, it was it was really fun. It was great. We have some guest suites that are in our same complex. My parents got to say it. So that's like super convenient because it's it takes away like the walking or the driving or the whatever. So we just got to pop over there and I could hang out while you took a nap. Everyone was in our house. It's not really that big, so we were watching Stranger Things on the couch all squished up, four of us all the way across here. But my parents brought their dog, Juni. That was so fun. Yeah, it was a great time. I had a really great time.

I always feel um, I always feel happy when you get to be around your family for like the special holidays.

Yeah, I mean, Thanksgiving, the reason I was looking at you like this when you're talking about Thanksgiving is because you know how I feel about the holiday. There was no friendships between the pilgrims and the indigenous people. It's not a good holiday. The premise of the holiday is so just like bad. So it's hard for me to like if it was up to me, we would do nothing in opposition of the holiday, because that's just who I am. But to be off all together on the same day is a great time to be together to your point. But I'm not gonna be putting turkeys in my house is and dressed up in outfits, and I'm not gonna have a baby that's wearing like a turkey thing, you know, like no offense, but like it just it just is not a holiday that I want to celebrate. Um it was a bad day in history, so you know, much like American history, we kind of like rewrite it and we're like, yeah, it was awesome, we're grateful, and it's like okay.

I think what's special to me is family above all else. So if anything, the days that we get off in this country are days that we can spend with each other because we're all off of work at the same time. So I'll take that at face value. I'm like, happy holidays, have a blessed one. You know what I mean?

This is all around bad. You wanna start the 4th of July. Here's the reason why Thanksgiving and Columbus Day celebrate two days in history where we've not only lied, the whole thing is a lie, but generations of people were completely obliterated. Now, Fourth of July is awful because it's celebrating the independence of this country for a select group of people. But we don't talk a lot about that in the history classes. We talk a lot about Columbus Day as if he discovered America, as if no one else lived in this fucking place, which is crazy work. And then we talk about the pilgrims and the indigenous people having a fun dinner while they're raping, pillaging, and killing people and giving them smallpox on blankets. So it's gotta go start 4th of July, Bench, Columbus Day. And cut Thanksgiving.

I I think it's because I was just like around new people. So for me, I don't know like where people align politically. Sure. So typically, as I go throughout life, it's not that I know where I align. But typically I'm just like, if I'm around someone new, chances are, or at least this is probably the wrong way to look at it. Because Trump is a president, I'm thinking everyone voted for Trump to be president. No, that's not true. I know that's not true.

However, when we went to Minnesota and we're around new people and they're like, Yeah, you know, because Trump is just crazy. I'm thinking I'm like, oh, oh, they okay, that's that's how they feel. Okay, all right, cool, cool, cool.

You really I mean, maybe you were before you met me, but I don't really think that was like a driving um force behind your algorithm or who you're around. So then to all of a sudden be put into a position where people are just like saying stuff, it's just like a little bit e, you know.
