When you're traveling somewhere and like being a tourist, the last thing you want to deal with is rain. And it rained, we were there for nine days. Uh, but it was sunny in Paris. Um, so yeah, I mean, listen, it was interesting. I don't like the long flight thing in the food was just bizarre. Has anyone ever been on a like a flight going to a different country where they serve that country's cuisine? Like is that normal?

We get to the airport, we get on the plane, and immediately everyone's like, I'm like, what? We don't cover our mouths anymore.

Met your sister in real life, which was great. And your granddad. And Auntie Eva and Auntie Elsa and your cousins. Uh we went to Paris, highlight of the trip. It really did make the trip from turn from a five to a nine. Um, and we came back home nine days later, never going anywhere again for nine days.

I I think the reason why I like Airbnbs is because most hotels wouldn't be able to provide certain amenities. The only thing that I was thinking about going to England for multiple amounts of days is to have access to a washer and dryer, at least, or some kind of kitchenette. So I thought that was like the great thing about it. However, um that doesn't matter if your sleep is gonna be ruined. I was jet I did not get more than three hours of sleep each day.

That was horrible. I could not sleep through the night. I thought it was because I was jet-like, but maybe it's because the bed wasn't as the bed felt like a fortune cookie. Yeah. Oh yeah, we I saw that it was a micro studio, but I thought, you know, we're gonna be out and about. But then once we landed, you being sick, uh, it being dark, rainy, and cloudy, we went inside for a majority of the time, but when we did get back, we were not having a good time inside.

That was kind of sad. Yeah, but anyway, so now we know. I mean, and I I think too, I didn't really inspect the Airbnb that you sent me because we had some we had some struggles leading up to booking this experience, and I was like, you know what? Blair deserves a win. He's gonna book this Airbnb, and we're gonna have a great time. So I didn't really provide too much insight into like what I thought we should be doing in sleep arrangements, but moving forward, we're not we're not staying in any more Airbnbs in for that long time.

You just can't trust them. When I look at a hotel, first of all, TikTok is the number one way to be able to figure out if you want to stay somewhere or not. Because I need to see yesterday what it looked like, not five days, five days ago, ten days ago, a year ago. What I've recognized also is people are honest about hotels because the hotel doesn't rate you back. What I recognize in our conversation about the Airbnb the other night is like, you're I'm gonna rate this five stars, and I'm like, it's not five stars. The bed was uncomfortable. We didn't sleep. If you if you're in the shower and you have to get out to dry your body, your ass hits the sink. Like that is not a good experience.

I don't know. I've never said it at a hostel, but what I recognize is because the hosts will rate you, you can't rate them honestly. So then that's why everyone gets duped with Airbnbs. It's not a five-star Airbnb. It's that people don't want to be rated less than five stars.

I remembered when we probably got to our breaking point in being in an Airbnb, and you said, Hey, um, I think we need to book a hotel. And I said, you know, that's probably right. You're like, yeah, because how much was this place like? $400, $500? You think the Airbnb was four to five hundred dollars worth of my time to be there. It was not $400, $500. Let me just tell you that. But you know what? We learned. We live and we learn.

Um, I think overall, what I was looking most forward to was just seeing everything through your perspective. I've I was born and raised there. I've visited once after coming back from America. Um, but I think the highlight for me was going back to my parents' house and you being able to see all of my baby pictures and all that kind of stuff. I look, look at you smiling. I knew you loved every single second of that. I might even upload a couple here. I was a very cute baby.

Three of them. Uh blood patties, two of them.

Yeah, we got a lot of things going on. Uh, but the only thing that I'm worried about or that I'm paying attention to is you. I really want to celebrate you, and I know that we just got back from vacation, but it's your birthday.

Yeah, and yeah, I mean, we got a lot of a lot will happen to the next couple of months. We've got hospital tours, we've got childbirthing classes, we've got a lot of stuff.

That's right around the corner. As soon as I came back into the dressing room, they were like, hey, you're gonna be a dad.

Well, um So yeah, we got a lot of things to do in the next four and a half months. You're gonna get a new car, also. It's crazy, it's crazy times.
