The Travelers Journal
#16: Grand Canyon Rim to Rim; Delta Meltdown; Misogi
Over the past few years, I've set out on this goal to go out and explore the world.
But to view some of these beautiful areas, one must endure a physical journey to get there.
For the past few years, I've been setting goals physically to accomplish something in the exploration world. Something that scares me a bit and something that if I finish I know I would be proud of accomplishing.
This year I decided to hike one of the most iconic hikes in the United States. The Grand Canyon Rim to Rim hike is one of a kind in this world.
This 26+mi hike with over 5,000ft of elevation is no walk in the park. On top of that, the 100+ degrees Fahrenheit will challenge anyone not used to the desert heat.
After completing this iconic hike, not only do I feel so accomplished but I learned so much about myself and I'm excited for the next big goal for next year.
So in this episode, I am going to talk about the Rim to Rim hike. What the hike is, what routes you can take, more information about the Grand Canyon, and so much more!
Also, if you missed the Delta Airlines internet outage disaster I touched on that as well. Something for EVERYONE to keep in mind when they're working with people.
Hope you enjoy this episode!
Never stop exploring!
