C4 Church Hawaii

Uncomfortable Mission | Activated and Empowered | Week 2

C4ChurchHawaii

This week we continued our series in the book of Acts, looking at how the gospel spread beyond Jerusalem into Judea and Samaria—even in the face of persecution. Through the story of Philip, we’re reminded that God uses ordinary people in extraordinary ways, and that His gospel is unstoppable. Just like Philip, we are all called to step out, be Spirit-empowered witnesses, and bring the hope of Jesus into our circles of influence.

Be encouraged: even in seasons of hardship or discomfort, God is working behind the scenes to advance His kingdom.

Discussion Questions:

  1. Do you consider yourself a minister? Why or why not?
  2. Share a story about someone who influenced your faith. Was this person a friend, a family member, a co-worker, a Pastor?
  3. Share a time when you ministered to someone and brought them hope. How did this person feel? How did you feel?
  4. Like Philip the Evangelist, did you ever experience an unexpected shift in your life – either at work, your place of residence or something that took you out of your comfort zone? What did you learn about this experience?
  5. Who are the “Samaritans” in your life? What would your response be if God calls you to minister to them?
  6. Repeat Question #1
