On the final Sunday of 2025, this message calls the church to pause, reflect, and wake up to what God is doing. It reminds us that we often don’t recognize “last moments” until they’ve passed, and invites us to ask where we may have been spiritually asleep. Centered on Jesus’ life of prayer and the Lord’s Prayer, the message encourages simple, honest, and daily dependence on God as we step into a new year—not rushing ahead with our own plans, but learning to pray, listen, and align our hearts with His.
Discussion Questions:
1. How important is prayer to you?
2. Do you feel uncomfortable when someone asks you to pray? Is it because you feel responsible for the outcome?
3. If you were to ask God to change something about your prayer life what would it be?
4. Pray the Lord’s prayer in Matthew 6:9-13 out loud as a group. Is there something you sense God doing as you gather and pray communally, rather than independently?
