Vision Sunday 2026 at C4 is a call to step into the new year not with more pressure, but with more presence. In this message, Pastor Chad unpacks why so many of our resolutions fail and why willpower alone can never carry what only inner transformation can sustain. Rather than sprinting into January exhausted and overwhelmed, we’re invited to see this moment as fertile ground for a move of God.
Drawing from Isaiah 60, Isaiah 60:22, and Ephesians 4, this sermon explores:
- What it means to “arise and shine” and reflect God’s glory in a dark world
- How God often works slowly in us so that He can move suddenly through us
- The difference between overflow and acceleration
- Why intimacy with Jesus matters more than visibility and performance
- How to check the “gauges” of your emotional health and spiritual fruit
If you’re entering this year tired, weighed down by expectations, or hungry for something deeper, this message is for you.
Overflow is our responsibility.
Acceleration is God’s.
Let the glory remain His.
Discussion Questions:
1. What stood out to you most from this Vision Sunday message, and why did it resonate with you?
2. In your current season, what might it look like for you to “arise and shine” not by manufacturing light, but by receiving and reflecting God’s light in the middle of real darkness?
3. “Acceleration amplifies what is already in the heart.” If God were to move quickly in your life, ministry, or influence this year, what in your heart would be amplified? What excites you about that, and what concerns you?
4. If your emotional health and spiritual fruit were dashboard gauges, where would you place them right now (low, mid, full)? What is one concrete step you can take this week to tend to those gauges?
5. Pray for one another.
