In a world that keeps speeding up and pressing in, God invites us into a different way of living. In this message from Romans 12:1–2, we explore how real change happens, not through willpower or behavior modification, but through the Spirit renewing our minds so we can respond like Jesus under pressure. Using the story of Moses and the battle of repeating narratives, you will learn a simple, practical prayer to interrupt anxious and reactive thought loops, resist the mold of the world, and surrender to God’s transforming work, so you can live a steady life with a renewed mind in Christ.

Discussion Questions:
1. From Romans 12:1–2, what do you think it means to “not be conformed” and to “be transformed”? What’s the difference between awareness and renewal?
2. What is one situation this week where you are most likely to react instead of respond (work, family, conflict, social media, stress)?
3. What is an “old narrative” you find yourself replaying under pressure (example: “I’m not enough,” “I have to fix it,” “I’m alone”)? Where do you think that story came from, and what does it lead you to do?
4. Is there something you need to surrender to God right now that you’ve been trying to control? If you feel comfortable sharing, what would it look like to pray the 3-line prayer in that specific moment this week, and how can this group support you in it?
