The How Is He Podcast | Ep. 56🎙️
Hosted by Podge & Poppa | Ampifi Studio
This week on The How Is He Podcast, we're joined by none other than Kilkenny legend Graham Doyle – arguably the most famous Doyle in Kilkenny!
Graham is a giant of both Junior Soccer and the League of Ireland. He spent 18 years with Freebooters, collecting:
🏆 8 League titles
🏆 5 McCalmont Cups
🏆 5 Shields
🏆 3 Leinster titles
🏆 2 Oscar Traynors
âš˝ And even represented the Irish Junior National Team twice!
But it didn’t stop there – at 33, Graham made the move to Wexford Youths FC, where he captained the side and put in a frankly outrageous 151 consecutive League of Ireland appearances. An iron man, a leader, and a legend.
We dive into his career, the culture of local football, mad dressing room stories, and what keeps a player going season after season. This one’s full of laughs, insight, and proper football nostalgia.
