This week, we’re joined by a true Carlow sporting legend – someone who just might be the greatest athlete the county has ever produced… and that’s no exaggeration. We’re absolutely buzzing to welcome Lauren Dwyer to the studio! 🙌⚽️🏐
Lauren has been playing top-level football since 2012, mostly with Wexford Youths FC, where she’s racked up over 250 appearances in the Women’s National League. Her honours list is nothing short of incredible:
🏆 4 FAI Cups
🏆 3 Women’s National League Titles
🏆 1 League Cup
🏆 1 National League Shield
🇮🇪 Represented Ireland U17 & U19, reaching the European Semi-Finals in 2014
And that’s only half the story...
On the GAA pitch, she’s also collected:
🏐 5 Senior Football Titles
🏐 1 Leinster Title
🏐 1 All-Ireland Title with Bennekerry/Tinryland
⭐️ Plus a heap of individual awards (that she’s far too modest to list herself!)
