Welcome to the Ben and Bash podcast tag team talk.
Speaker 2:I'm Ben.
Speaker 1:I'm Bash. It's time to lace up your boots and hit the mat with the Ben and Bash podcast tag team talk.
Speaker 2:All right, here we are for another one. This time we are going to do predictions for SummerSlam. Who's going to win? What do you think is going to happen? Any surprises? You're going to hear about all of it. Let's going to win. What do you think is going to happen? Any surprises? You're going to hear about all of it. Let's get to it.
Speaker 1:Okay, for the first match on the card, it's Sami Zayn versus Braun Breaker for the Intercontinental Championship and for this match I think it's pretty simple. But it has to have one thing in the match for the answer to be really simple. Because on Money in the Bank, the lead up to Money in the Bank, they didn't really present the Brawn Breaker that we were seeing on Monday Night Raw. And Money in the Bank, the bank, uh. So for summer slam, braun breaker is probably gonna win if they, if the month, if the monday night, braun breaker comes to summer slam, because at money the bank, I don't think that was really the presented braun breaker. So if we get the presented braun breaker, I feel like braun breaker has to win and this is like his only chance. I feel like there's no more chances after two chances at least in wrestling matches.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'm kind of with you. I mean the way Bron Breaker's been since he's been on the main roster. I mean he's ran through Ricochet destroyed him. He's put Ilya out for who knows how long. I mean he's been destroyinglya out for who knows how long. I mean he's been destroying Sami Zayn. He's been running real shot across the entire people he's been wrestling against. I mean Sami beat him last match just because he was Sami Zayn. But I just don't see how, if he loses again, he can't be the guy he's been acting like he's at. He can't be that person. If he's going to lose again, there's no way he's going to beat him again the way Bron Breaker's been going on a tear, as they say. I'm going to say Bron Breaker wins this Close match, but I don't think it's going to be a squash. I think it's going to be a good match. I think Bron Ricker is going to finally beat Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship.
Speaker 1:Okay, so the second match on the card and my second favorite match of the night Logan Paul versus LA Knight for the United States Championship. Now, at first I really wanted to say Logan Paul for some reason, Because it's in his hometown, but then I just like got it, because, really, the win. It would be better if Logan Paul lost in his hometown, but now I'm thinking it's going to be LA night, since everybody's cheering him. I feel like the fans will start to riot if LA Knight didn't win, because they were mad when he lost to Roman Reigns, even though we all saw that coming. But yeah, so I think LA Knight's going to come out on top.
Speaker 2:Yeah, once again I'm agreeing with you. I think LA Knight's going to come out on top. Yeah, once again I'm agreeing with you. I think LA Knight's going to win. I mean, how many more chances is he going to get To my brown breaker?
Speaker 2:La Knight's been having a chance for almost a full year now and he has yet to win a championship. I mean, how many more chances is he going to get to win If he doesn't win this one? Where does he go from here? I mean, if he doesn't win this one, where does he go from here? I mean, if he doesn't win this united states championship, he definitely can't challenge for a heavyweight championship because he can't even he can't win a uh, what you call mid-car belt. I mean, how can he win a heavyweight championship but we can't even win a united states championship belt? But also, I mean logan paul is back home. I mean he grew up pretty much in cleveland, right around cle area, so he's back home.
Speaker 2:But the fans didn't really cheer him too much on SmackDown. I mean they were born, so not sure it's going to be too much of a hometown cry out for Logan Paul like he thought it was going to be. They're cheering more for LA Knight. I do think LA Knight is going to win. Like I said, he needs this win more than Logan Paul needs this win for sure. I mean, like I said once, la Knight, if he loses this match, where does he go? There's nothing for him to go anywhere after this. He's challenged for pretty much every championship and has lost every championship he's ever went for. He has to win this one. He has no choice. I got LA Knight winning this because he has to and he needs this win.
Speaker 1:Can I add one more thing? Yeah, go ahead. La Knight, not LA Knight. Logan Paul, he's not been on TV. He's been Roman Reigns but has no reason to not be on TV.
Speaker 2:He's Logan Paul. He can do what he wants to do.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but Roman Reigns had a reason he has leukemia. He has to take a little break from WWE now and then Logan Paul just does, logan Paul. Yeah, he thinks, because he's an actual megastar.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he's one of the few people who came into WWE and people knew who he was. Before WWE he was already like hate him or love him or like him. People knew who Logan Paul was before he came to WWE. Yeah, you know, I mean when you use somebody like that, yeah, they made their contract and they may be a different, they may have different rules than anybody else, because he does have other obligations that he has to attend to. So I'm not saying it's right, but it's Logan Paul. I mean, look at how Ronda Rousey did when she came. Or Brock Lesnar. I mean those guys they didn't wrestle all the time on TV when they had the belts. People knew who they were beforehand. They were famous before Brock Lesnar came and ended up being an unknown, illiterate fan of Olympic-style college wrestling. Then he came to the WWE and he left, played football for a little bit, then went to UFC, became a heavyweight champion at UFC and then came back and people knew who he was. Even if he didn't watch Rousey, he knew who Brock Lesnar was.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Or under Rousey. He knew who under Rousey was Logan Paul. He knew who Logan Paul is. People like that. You know who they are before they come into the ring, you know so, just like Mark Henry, mark Henry came.
Speaker 1:People knew who Mark Henry was. Yeah, you know, but I mean like him or love him. That's how his contract is. The next match on the card is Liv Morgan versus Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship. This match has been like one of the best feuds going on in professional wrestling. In my opinion. It's like it's really a story between Dominic Mysterio, rhea Ripley and Leif Morgan. But I feel like this is gonna go on for like maybe a three matches saga instead of just one. So if it's like like I'm saying three matches or what, however many there are, uh, I feel like live morgan has to win the first one, so, uh, so I'm going with Liv Morgan okay, I don't agree with the.
Speaker 2:I think Rhea Ripley is going to win, but well, I don't know, because we talked about Rhea Ripley, dom and Liv Morgan it's also a fourth guy there. People aren't really talking about Finn.
Speaker 1:Balor, I mean about Finn.
Speaker 2:Balor. I mean, what is Finn Balor doing? Who is he going for? Is he going to go with Morgan? Is he going to go with Ripley? I mean, do we actually know where Finn Balor loyalty lies at? I mean, he did take the hotel card when she put it on the table.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we saw that. He said he threw it away. He said he threw it away.
Speaker 2:Allegedly, he said he threw it away. I mean, if you go back to when Liv Morgan was in the Judgment Days clubhouse, everybody's face had something written on it, except for Van Baller's you probably know what that is.
Speaker 1:Oh, Even JD McDonough.
Speaker 2:Everybody's only picture had something written on there, so it was the only face that didn't have anything on it. That's not. It could have been a coincidence, but you never know W. You can't ever tell if it's a coincidence or not. You never know.
Speaker 1:I think about it Even all the way back to when Finn Balor wasn't even in the Judgment Day. Exactly Finn, when Finn Balor wasn't even in the Judgment Day.
Speaker 2:Exactly Finn Balor and Liv Morgantine together in a match, exactly With AJ Styles. Now the problem with that is, if Finn Balor was to turn on Rhea Ripley in this match, what happens later on in the night with Damian Priest? Does he then turn on Damian Priest as well, or does Damian Priest's head gets out of the way because of what happened in that match? We'll talk about that later. I really want to say Rhea Ripley's going to win this match, but, barring what I think may happen with Finn Balor and Dominic could be playing Rhea Ripley, all that stuff he was saying about he hate her and all that that could be part of my games. Lil Morgan did say she wanted to take everything from Rhea Ripley. What better thing to take from Rhea Ripley than Dominic Mysterio? It wasn't Rhea Ripley that helped Dominic Mysterio beat his dad. Liv Morgan did that.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Who helped Judges from Day One tag team championships. It wasn't Rhea Ripley, it was Liv Morgan. She's done everything that Rhea Ripley hadn't done. I mean, like I said, dominic actually do stuff to Ripley Haven't done. Like I said, beat Rey Mysterio for the first time Judging they got tag team championships. I mean, is there going to be a twist? Is there going to be a? I guess a quote unquote heel turn.
Speaker 1:Or would it be a heel turn if it's a double cross?
Speaker 2:Yeah, like a double, yeah like a double turn yeah like a way to turn Ripley babyface and Liv Morgan even more. Have a heel so yeah you know.
Speaker 2:So I mean I'm gonna go Liv Morgan. Just because of what I just said, I'm gonna go Liv Morgan. I think something's gonna happen in that match and it's gonna cause Rip. I'm going to go with Morgan. Just because of what I just said. I'm going to go with Morgan. I think something's going to happen in that match and it's going to cost Rhea Ripley a championship. It's going to cost her to win the championship and regain it. Yeah, I got to live with Morgan. Plus, then you have Bad Blood coming up here in October, which I mean we know Bad Blood is always a rivalry-type pay-per-view. I mean that we know Bad Blood is always a rivalry type pay-per-view. That was the first Hell in a Cell match. Shawn Michaels and Undertaker. There's going to be a lot of rivalry matches on that.
Speaker 1:I think it's going to be a women's Hell in a Cell or Steel K or whichever one.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it could be.
Speaker 1:Because that's what I think, Unless it's going to be Drew McIntyre and CM Punk in the Hell in a Cell yeah, that would make more sense. But women's Hell in a Cell? I feel like they would do that, or I don't know. I don't know what they're going to do.
Speaker 2:That's what I'm saying. I don't know, but I think that Liv Morgan's going to win. Based on some town, foolery Treachery is going on. Not sure if it's going to be on Dominic's side or Finn Balor, but one of them, I think, is going to turn on Rhea Ripley and or not really specifically turn but like, interfere in the match, which causes Rhea Ripley to lose the match, because they can stretch that story out a little bit longer too. But yeah, I think Lil Morgan's going to win. It's not going to be a clean pinfall, though. It's going to be something that's going to go on in that match, that's going to cause her to win the match.
Speaker 1:Okay. So this is my favorite match on the card CM Punk versus Drew McIntyre, with Seth Freakin' Rollins as the special guest referee, and I think Drew McIntyre with Seth freaking Rollins as the special guest referee, and I think Drew McIntyre is going to win. Because I feel like Seth Rollins or like see, like like Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins are going to get mad at each other, but Drew McIntyre is not going to like like hit him or anything. But I think CM Punk and Seth Rollins are going to get mad at each other. And then CM Punk is going to get mad at each other and the um, cm punk's gonna attack seth rollins. Then I see what's happening gts one, two, seth rollins stumps cm punk, or just not a pinfall straight to the stump um, and I think um drew mcintntyre is going to hit the clamor and win. That's what I think is going to happen.
Speaker 1:But overall, I feel like Drew McIntyre has to win this match because he's just taking L after L to CM Punk. Like people have shirts that said Punk's three, mcintyre's zero. So Drew McIntyre, I can't make it four-zero. He has to get one up on CM Punk this one time. So I'm going with Drew McIntyre.
Speaker 2:I'm also going Drew McIntyre for kind of the same reason, but I think that Drew McIntyre is going to win, seth Rollins is going to interfere in the match and that's going to lead to Seth Rollins and CM Punk wrestling later on this year at either Bad Blood or Survivor Series or some kind of match later on, I think. But yeah, cm Punk has been destroying Drew McIntyre. I mean, he's called Drew McIntyre every single championship match since he's came back. I mean, granted, drew McIntyre did hurt CM Punk and then he basically said I'll pray that he would get hurt, which I mean you don't want anybody to get hurt like that. Drew McIntyre said I don't care, I wanted him to get hurt.
Speaker 2:And CM Punk did that personally and made it his mission to make sure that Drew McIntyre never wins another championship as long as he's in the NBA. So the only way to do that is for Drew to get his revenge back and basically destroy CM Punk in this match. Like Bash said, I think Seth Rollins is going to get involved some kind of way, because as much as he hates Drew McIntyre, he hates CM Punk way more, just because of prior histories or whatever the case may be. I think Seth Rollins just does not like CM Punk whatsoever and I think he's going to call CM Punk maybe not intentionally, or maybe he doesn't count to three or has a slow count, or whatever the case may be but yeah, I think Drew McIntyre is going to win against CM Punk and finally gets his revenge for CM Punk, costing him all these championships, basically all year, for the entire year so far.
Speaker 1:And the next match on the card is Bayley versus Nia Jax for the WWE Women's Championship. I feel like this feud has been lackluster, in my opinion, because Damian Priest and Gunther yeah, there's a reason for that match it's King of the Ring, because Gunther won the King of the Ring, but at least that has storyline. This really doesn't have that much storyline.
Speaker 2:Well it does, because remember a couple years ago Bayley missed SummerSlam because Nia Jax hurt her. This is like a long-term storyline Nia Jax won King of the Ring, but her and Bayley do have a history where Nia Jax actually legitimately hurt Bayley in the match.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And Bayley was not able to wrestle for a few months after that, including missing SummerSlam.
Speaker 1:Oh, legitimately.
Speaker 2:She was actually hurt for a while, oh I thought that was just a part of the script. No, no, it was actually Bayley getting hurt in that match for real and actually ended up missing SummerSlam because of injury, so staying in the match against Nia Jax so pause for a second. Don't use the word script.
Speaker 1:Don't use the word script what like the well like the little Johnnies of the world are gonna get mad at me.
Speaker 2:Yes, if you watch kids, that watch it.
Speaker 1:Yes, so go ahead, start back oh on, no, no pause for a second and start back on Bailey and IJX, yeah, and the whole thing no, just for you were trying to say when I said pause oh, um. So overall I think, uh, tiffany Stratton is going to like fake cash in, and then that's going to get Nia Jax's attention and Bayley's going to take advantage of that for the 1-2-3 also think Bayley's going to win.
Speaker 2:You need to stop agreeing with so much, but I think Bayley's going to win as well. If Tiffany Stratton fake cashes in, does she actually cash in? Does she make this a triple threat match? Does she cash in after the match is over with and get the belt? Does she wait until later on in the year or next year to cash in? I mean, I don't know, but I got Bayley winning.
Speaker 2:Like I said, the actual yeah, this actual build up to this match, if you don't think long term it has been lackluster. It hasn't been as much going on as the rest of the matches on this card. The other matches on the card have more of a storyline, have more of a reason why they're fighting. I mean, yeah, nia Jax did hurt Bayley, like I said before, but as far as recently, there's not much besides the Tiffany Stratton aspect. I mean, is she going to be out there with Nia Jax? Is she going to be behind the scenes? I mean, if she's out there with Nia Jax, it's easier for her to cash in because she'd be already out there, as opposed to her running down the ring like other people do when they cash in.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:But I do have Bailey winning, finally beating Nijax and hopefully not getting crushed in the process with the night within the move, the annihilator.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, hopefully that doesn't happen to her, because that can put you out for a down. That can put you out for a long haul. But yeah, I got Bayley winning once again returning her belt.
Speaker 1:You said we need to stop agreeing. I don't think in this one we're going to agree, because at first I was really pushing towards Gunther. But I think Damian Priest is going to win Because that would cement him as a champion. Because, like, think about it, I don't think, I don't really agree with this, but, like fans have been saying that Damian Priest isn't like, doesn't like, isn't like a top champion, so this will cement him as a champion, beating one of the like one of professional wrestling's best wrestlers in Gunther. So I think Damien Price is going to win.
Speaker 2:Alright, before I get into that match, we do have Badge and Berlin coming up. So, gunther, he's going to go into as champion or challenger. He's going to have a match't is he going to go into as champion or challenger? He's going to have a match for the world heavyweight championship. We all know that he's going to be in the world heavyweight championship match. Is it going to be as champion, after he beat Damian Priest, or is it going to be as a challenger to Damian Priest, or is it going to be wrestling somebody else?
Speaker 1:Maybe Kuhn Ilya Dragunov could be.
Speaker 2:I mean, if you get Ilya Dragunov where he could come back and wrestle against Kaiser. But this I mean I like Gunther as a wrestler, but he's been rubbing me the wrong way, how he's been talking about Damien Priest, calling him street trash and just because he had a hard life growing up. A lot of people have hard lives growing up, you know. I mean don't mean the man's less thin than you are, you know, just because Gunther said he had everything he ever wanted and Damien Priest didn't. I mean, that's just how life works sometimes people, but they're both, no matter how they grew up. Damien Priest is champion right now, gunther's not. So Damian Priest is champion right now.
Speaker 1:Gunther's not.
Speaker 2:So it doesn't matter how good Gunther had it growing up. He has to beat Damian Priest to get the belt. At the end of the day, you can call Damian Priest street trash all you want to, but welcome to the match. Damian Priest is the world champion, gunther's not. So Damian Priest wins, which, barring any outside interference. I'm going to go just because I don't want to agree with you on every single one of these. I'm going to say Gunther, I'm going to pick Gunther, just because I think that I'm going to go out here and say Finn Bauer interference in this match if he doesn't do it.
Speaker 2:In the Liv Morgan, maybe Liv Morgan, maybe Liv Morgan. Rhea Ripley, dominic Mysterio interferes and calls Rhea Ripley, not intentionally but accidentally. And in the heavyweight championship, finn Bauer finally turns on Damian Priest Because Damian Priest has been kind of not needing the judgment day. I mean, he's been treating them guys like they're under him, like they're less than him, all kind of stuff. And if you listen to it, they did say that Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest will be out there by herself. So if anybody does come out there, it's not part of what Damian Priest and Ripley asked for. So yeah, I got going through winning that one, finn Balor interfering costing a Damian Priest championship, which then, well, there we go, which then may lead to Damian Priest and Finn Balor wrestling at.
Speaker 1:Bad Blood.
Speaker 2:And that leaves Gunther to wrestle against Ilya or somebody else at Badge in Berlin. Yeah, so there we go. Berlin, yeah, you know. So there we go. That's hot.
Speaker 1:There we go. Rice itself. Okay For the next match.
Speaker 2:Cody Rose the main event.
Speaker 1:That is the answer. Cody Rose. Who's Cody Rose wrestling Sella Sacoa? It doesn't matter, cody Rose, that's it Nothing else Nope. Nothing else. Bloodline Rose, cody Rose winning, roman Reigns coming back, jim Mews coming back, that's it. That's all you need for this match.
Speaker 2:Cody Rose in a Bloodline Rose match with nobody that we know of on this side to help him out. I mean, realistically, as of right now, we don't know if Roman Reigns is coming back. We don't know if Jey Uso is coming back. We don't know if Jey Uso is going to come. Jey Uso is coming back. We don't know that for a fact. I mean, we all hope so, but let's say he don't come back. Cody Rhodes how is Cody? I know that. But let's say, for the sake of argument, that Roman Reigns does not come back at this, which most people if you follow wrestling, pretty much everybody in the world is predicting. Roman Reigns comes back because they have been saying the Tribal Chief way too many times over the last few weeks. If nobody does come back, there's no way Cody Rhodes can beat the entire bloodline.
Speaker 1:Randy Orton. Randy Orton, good, he's hurt.
Speaker 2:You've not seen him get thrown to the table.
Speaker 1:Kevin Owens Kevin.
Speaker 2:Owens has got his neck chopped off almost.
Speaker 1:You don't know who Kevin Owens is. If you think that's going to keep him.
Speaker 2:That's going to keep him out. What I'm saying is Cody Rhodes couldn't even beat Jacob Fatu by himself in the match. I don't think he could beat Jacob Fatu. So Cody Rhodes, versus all the members of the bloodline, has no chance unless somebody comes to help him. Unless we get it, the only way Cody Rose wins this match is if Roman Reigns comes back. That's the only way. If he has some kind of help like that, because Kevin Owens is out with that neck injury that when they threw him through the onto the steel rose, the steel post with the chair around his neck. You know Randy Orton has a history of back problems. He got power-bombed through the table which he can miss his back every morning. He was already out for almost over a year with a back injury Before. That's why he just came back, because he had a back injury. That's why he was out for so long beforehand.
Speaker 1:If you're going to talk people to help Cody Rose, it doesn't make that much sense for so long beforehand. I mean, if you're going to talk people to help Cody Rose, it makes it doesn't make that much sense. But DIY, diy could possibly.
Speaker 2:They could, because they did lose just now. But that wouldn't be that much help, I mean it could be enough help or, like I said, the only way Roman Reigns could come back, because there's that old saying of the enemy of the enemy is my friend Right. So Cody and Roman Reigns hate each other.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:But that's his friend, because both of them don't like Solo, even though Roman Reigns himself has said before that Solo was the next tribal chief. Yeah, he said that On TV. He said this is the next tribal chief of the bloodline, but I don't think he meant right now.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think he meant when he got ready to hang him up and retire and do like the rock day to retire, then the next one to come through that would be Solo, but to be honest, jacob Fatu may be the next one. I mean, I just don't see how Solo can compete with Jacob 5-2 when Jacob 5-2 turns on him. If he does, if they do a Solo-5-2 match, like they did Roman Reigns and Jey Uso and how they made Jey Uso a star, they can do the same thing with Jacob 5-2.
Speaker 1:I mean, but I don't really know if that type of character can be a good guy realistically. How is somebody who needs to be locked up supposed to be a good guy? Well, he don't have to be a good guy.
Speaker 2:He doesn't have to be a good guy. Brock Lesnar was never a good guy, but people loved him. Well, not loved him, but people liked seeing him come out. Brock Lesnar was not a good guy at all, but what did people do? They? They cheer for him when he came out.
Speaker 1:Especially in a feud against Roman Reigns, exactly.
Speaker 2:I mean just yeah. But when you have a guy like Jacob Fatu, yes, he's a dangerous guy legitimately, you know. I mean his past history, don't want to talk about it, but we know he has done some stuff in his life, you know. But he's a good wrestler and we'll see how that goes If they let him wrestle. If he wrestles the way he wrestled in MLW and all the other independent promotions he was in, he is going to be hard to beat. Even Cody Rose is going to be hard to beat him, you know.
Speaker 2:I mean then you have Tama Tonga and Tonga Lola were the Grills' destiny in New Japan and other independent wrestling, tna, and all that. Once they get together they could be the best tag team in the world, you know. So that's three guys right there who you can win the championships. And then you got Solo, still, I mean. And then you also have Survivor Series coming up, bad Blood coming up. If Roman Reigns does come back and if Jey and Jimmy does reunite and become the Usos again, I mean, I mean Jey didn't even have a match at SummerSlam.
Speaker 1:He didn't have a match. One more thing, so you think they're not.
Speaker 2:you think they're not going to bring out Jey Uso in some capacity at SummerSlam? I mean, he's one of the biggest crowd reactions to this day.
Speaker 1:He might open up the show.
Speaker 2:He may. But what I'm saying is he still gets the biggest crowd reaction of the day when he comes out and does the whole Yeet stuff right. You think he's not going to come out in some capacity? I mean, this may be a time for him and Jimmy to reconcile.
Speaker 1:I think they're going to do that next SmackDown, or just like a couple of SmackDowns from now.
Speaker 2:With Jimmy and Jey.
Speaker 1:It's how Sammy and Kevin did on that one, where they reunited and hugged.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:And they got like a busload of cheers.
Speaker 2:True, but yeah, so I got. I really want Solo to win, and then Roman Reigns' music hits and they wrestle at Bad Blood. That's what I really want. I really do. You know, what Does Roman Reigns? Here's a question for you, though. Here's a question for you, though. Does Roman?
Speaker 1:Reigns like Cody Rhodes enough to help him out in a match against Solo who's his family, I mean. But he said it Even back in WrestleMania 39, he says he has respect for Cody Rhodes. I understand that he just doesn't want him to win his championship.
Speaker 2:But he did win it. That's what I'm that he just doesn't want him to win his championship, but he did win it. That's what I'm saying. So do you think that Roman Reigns would come out and help Cody Rhodes, or do you think Roman Reigns would come out?
Speaker 2:after Solo won, I feel like what Roman Reigns does come, let's just say Roman Reigns is coming back. Let's just say he's coming back. Right, is he going to come back out to help Cody Rhodes defeat his family? Or is he going to come out after his family has won and beat the guy who beat him and then come out and get the Tribal Chief status back Because bad blood is coming up?
Speaker 1:Wait, hold on.
Speaker 2:I mean bad blood's coming up, so that has to be a perfect opportunity for Solo and Roman Reigns to wrestle each other bad. I mean. You can't get any better than that. The Bloodline in a in bad blood like that's the perfect match for them. Yeah, I mean Bloodline members in a bad blood pay-per-view match yeah, bad blood.
Speaker 1:Bad blood in the bloodline exactly that's. That's that works perfectly with them they might as well just call it the Bloodline pay-per-view that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:They might as well. That's what I'm looking at. Solo is going to wrestle, probably Roman Reigns, but is Roman Reigns going to come back out to help Cody Rhodes? Or is he going to come out after Solo wins the championship and then Roman Reigns comes back to get his rightful throne, to come back and get his rightful place as the head of the table? Tribal chief.
Speaker 1:But here's my question really for you, okay.
Speaker 2:Who are you picking? Like I said, I like Cody Rhodes, but for the sake of Roman Reigns. This works better if Solo wins, because if Cody Rhodes wins, then Roman Reigns and Solo just turn into a regular match, the Tribal.
Speaker 1:Chief the Tribal.
Speaker 2:Chief on the line, yes, but remember when Roman Reigns fought Jey Uso for the Tribal Chief status, that was the best on the line as well.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that did make the match a little better.
Speaker 2:So that match could go better if you have a Tribal Chief status on the line and a belt on the line, because to be Tribal Chief is to be a champion.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and one thing on the Tribal Chief thing if Solo's supposed to be the Tribal Chief and Roman Reigns comes back, he's not going to automatically become the tribal chief. What is he going to be? The big dog again.
Speaker 2:He's still the tribal chief.
Speaker 1:But, Solo doesn't think that.
Speaker 2:That's the point. So when you have real tribal chiefs and real Samoans and Native Americans and people like that, in order to become the chief of the tribe you have to beat the current chief.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:If the current chief doesn't give you his title, you have to take it from him.
Speaker 1:Mm-hmm.
Speaker 2:Right.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:So in order to do that, solo didn't take anything. He made himself that you still got the tribal chiefs out there. Roman Reigns never told you you were going to be a tribal. He said you're going to be the next one. Didn't say you're going to be the one right now. He said you're going to be the next one, basically, when he retires. So he never gave someone the tribal chief status. So as a Roman, so because Roman Reigns never gave him the tribal chief status, roman Reigns needs to come back and tell him who the real tribal chief is.
Speaker 1:He gave him future tribal chief stuff, Exactly future.
Speaker 2:The same way, roman Reigns was the tribal chief after the Rock.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:The Rock was tribal chief for the longest and then Roman Reigns was the same tribal chief. You know the Rock never called himself tribal chief on TV. But family-wise, the Samoans he was, he was the breadwinner, he was the number one guy in that family.
Speaker 1:Back then. I don't even know if they acknowledged in professional wrestling no, not in professional wrestling, but in the family he did.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'm saying the breadwinner, the head of the table, the breadwinner, the family, the person who provides for the family, is the head of the table, the tribal chief, as they say, yeah, the tribal chief, as they say, yeah, that was the rock for the longest. Then rikishi could have came in a little bit and helped out. And then it was roman reigns. Right now, solo is trying to say he is where roman reigns is out there. Until roman reigns retires, solo cannot be the tribal chief.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so just because you wear fancy suits doesn't mean you're the tribal chief exactly.
Speaker 2:So I think for this to work the way I want it to work, I'm going to pick Solo, as much as I want Cody Rhodes to win. It works better with Solo winning and then Roman Reigns coming back after the match. I don't think. Because Cody Rhodes doesn't have, he took why did he take a Bloodlines Rules match when he doesn't know if he has any friends or not to help him out?
Speaker 1:How do you know that he could have made a call?
Speaker 2:He could have. But what I'm saying is, as far as we know, all his friends that helped him out have all been hurt. So why would you want to help Cody Rhodes out, knowing what happened to Randy Orton and Kevin Owens for helping Cody Rhodes out? You know what happened to them. They got destroyed. So if I'm anybody else, why would I want to help out Cody Rose, if I know it's going to happen to me later on? I'm going to get beat up and Cody Rose is going to be sitting there tied up and can't do anything about it. So it's going to be hard for somebody to help Cody Rose out. So I think that, like I said, Soul's going to win, because the bloodline rules means there are no rules, Just like at WrestleMania there are no rules. But this time around Cody Rhodes doesn't have as much help. That we know of Not saying he won't with Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, whoever, but as far as we know right now he doesn't have any help and so it's going to win the belt.
Speaker 1:I think I know of something that could happen, but it still goes along with like would Like. Paul Heyman comes up like, say it, say it, say it. My name is Paul and it gets the bloodlines the attention.
Speaker 2:True, I think that's gonna happen After the match is over, when someone what I think is gonna happen Solo wins. You know, obviously the bloodline helps him. Yeah, solo wins and he's celebrating In the middle of the ring. And then Holding his three belts Holding his three belts, and then, all of a sudden, paul Heyman walks out yeah and Paul Heyman looks at him kind of like Paul Bearer did back in the day when Kane came back.
Speaker 2:When Paul Bearer came out, looked up and then Kane music blasted, the pyro hit and then everybody went crazy. Same thing happened. Paul Heyman walks out after the match is over with he walks out, people cheering for him and all of a sudden he turns around and the Tribal Chief music hits.
Speaker 1:Now did Jimmy come out with his own entrance?
Speaker 2:No, jimmy comes out with Roman Reigns. They come out as the OG bloodline.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Him, and then Jey Uso uses his.
Speaker 1:Mm-hmm.
Speaker 2:Like yeah, yeah, see how that sounds, see how good that sounds.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:You got Roman Reigns comes out with Jimmy Uso and then you think that's it, and they stop, turn around and Jey Uso uses his. So now you got a three on four.
Speaker 1:Well, four on four, no, no, I three on four, four on four.
Speaker 2:It's after the match. Then you have the bloodline them coming out. Who knows? You know some more Samoans.
Speaker 1:Or Samians.
Speaker 2:Know some more Samoans.
Speaker 1:If they're trying to do the OG, bloodline the missing cue.
Speaker 2:You have to have Samians, but at the same time Tomatonganga's brother just signed to WWE.
Speaker 1:Why would Tamatanga's brother go against Tamatanga?
Speaker 2:The same way Solo Sokoa went against his brothers.
Speaker 1:Well, that's, wouldn't he join Solo Sokoa then?
Speaker 2:No, he's the younger brother, just like Solo Sokoa is Tamatanga and Tama Lora are the older brothers and this guy is the younger brother, but he's like seven feet tall, dang yeah. So he comes out. Now you got three, now you got four on four, if he does, I'm not saying he does come out, but I'm just saying he's there or he in the Usos.
Speaker 1:Wait, he's seven foot tall.
Speaker 2:Yeah, right around.
Speaker 1:How, how.
Speaker 2:Just about what it is, but anyways. So yeah, that's how, that's what I think. I think Toad's going to win. Roman Reigns comes back. Trouble Chief status, bloodline match Bad blood At the bloodline OG versus Bloodline 2.0.
Speaker 1:Got it.
Speaker 2:Get it Good.
Speaker 1:Here we go, but I still think Cody Rose is going to win.
Speaker 2:We'll see. We'll see who wins.
Speaker 1:We'll see right about that. I was about to say Solo Sokoa, but then I thought you were going to say Cody Rose.
Speaker 2:No, no, all right, anything else?
Speaker 1:No, I think that's it.
Speaker 2:All right, that's it Alright. Rest of the episode. I'm Ben.
Speaker 1:I'm Bash.
Speaker 2:And this has been the episode of Tag Team. Talk.
