Speaker 2:Today we are actually in in atlanta for the Bad Bud Premium Live event going on tomorrow, so yeah, I got my Yeet shirt on.
Speaker 1:I took a picture with Jey Uso earlier.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's going to be posted right there. But yeah, we're going to do a prediction show, like we always do. We're going to give us who we think is going to win, who we think is going to win, who we think is going to happen, any surprises, any returns. You know all the good stuff, so let's get to it.
Speaker 1:For the first match. We have CM Punk versus Drew McIntyre in a Hell, in a Cell match. Now I really want Drew McIntyre to win, but I just see CM Punk coming out victorious. But Drew McIntyre, in my my opinion at least, has some of the best work off of a major loss like, um, he did this, this stuff that he's doing right now with cm punk after he lost wait, no, he didn't lose after, yeah, well, after he lost against damian priest. So I I think it would be fine from this, but I I'm pretty sure that CM Punk is going to win.
Speaker 2:Yeah, oh, this is a tough one. I mean, Drew Bantyre has never won a Hell in a Cell match. I mean, granted, he's only had what one or two anyways, but still, I mean one or two Hell in a Cell matches is still one more than a lot of people have. But I don't know. I think that maybe something happens in this match. I mean, cm punk was just on nxt. Uh, he gave to go to sleep to ethan page. I mean, does ethan page make an appearance and interfere in the match?
Speaker 1:I thought that's where you were gonna go, but I don't think so yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2:I mean I don't see it if, if no, if no interference or anything happens. Uh, who'd you pick?
Speaker 1:drew bagentire yeah, wait, no, no, I'll see him pick sam punk.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna just for a second. I'm just gonna go. Drew bagentire, then I'm gonna drew bagentire, just to be different. That way we have somebody to cheer for. Since we're going to be there live tomorrow, I'm going to go. Drew McIntyre I think he needs to win. Cm Punk already has the fans behind him. What better way to get more heat on you than to beat CM Punk in the Hell in a Cell match, make him bleed and all that kind of stuff? I got Drew McIntyre for the Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk.
Speaker 1:For the next match, it's Nia Jax versus Bayley for the WWE Women's Championship and you know, at SummerSlam they had an amazing match. Nobody saw it coming. So we already know that they're going to put on an amazing match, or at least that's the expectation. But personally I would have loved to see Naomi against Nia Jax, but for this match we already saw it. I think it's going to be the same outcome. I think Nia Jax wins this against Bayley.
Speaker 2:Just straight up, no interference or anything.
Speaker 1:Fake cash-in from Tiffany.
Speaker 2:Fake cash-in. You think fake cash-in?
Speaker 1:She's not cash in. Too many people think she's cash in.
Speaker 2:I mean, look at what happened, though. Nah, Jax did try to choke her out.
Speaker 1:But that's too soon though. Like that next pay-per-view, though, Like you know how Triple H likes to build up storyline, she's not going to cash in tonight. I mean tomorrow. I guarantee she could, though I guarantee that she's not gonna cash in tomorrow, okay.
Speaker 2:I guess we'll see, but you're, I think. I think you're forgetting about one person that could interfere in this match.
Speaker 1:Naomi. Naomi against who Bayley why not?
Speaker 2:Bayley did beat her in this match has Naomi ever been a heel? Mmm, she got booed a few times when she was with. When she was with, what's the guy who used to dance all the time she was with? She used to dance with Cameron. You know what I'm talking about the guy who used to come out dancing all the time.
Speaker 2:His name is Titus now. He's Titus now and I think NWA. But what was his name? I can't think of what his name was, but he's Titus now. He's Titus now and I think NWA. But what was his name? I can't think of what his name was, but he's Titus now. But yeah, no, she was getting booed, I think, with them when he was a heel at one point in time, because they were heel valets, I guess you could call it. But yeah, I think that.
Speaker 1:Oh, she already picked Nia Jax already.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I picked Nia Jax. I don't think Tiffany Stratton is going to cash in. She may do a fake cash in just to mess with Nia, because Nia did try to choke her out on Friday Night Smackdown and I think Tiffany wasn't really she didn't really like that. But I do think baby Naomi is going to come in interfering in the match. I like she's going to come out. She's going to come in interfering the match. I like she's going to come out. She's going to, you know, beat up Tiffany Stratton or stop her from cashing in and then, while she's doing that, calls Bailey the championship.
Speaker 1:Could get Bailey distracted.
Speaker 2:To get Bailey, or, yeah, to get Bailey distracted or calls her or hit her or something like that, and then that opens up a whole few for Bailey and Naomi to go against each other.
Speaker 1:Wait what's the next pay-per-view?
Speaker 2:Uh, what's this Crown Jewel? It's either Crown Jewel or Survivor Series, I'm not sure which one is first. Both of them are Crown Jewel at the end of this month, and then Survivor Series is November normally. Normally, survivor Series is in November, and then Crown Jewel is usually November. Too early November, end of October, but yeah, so I think it's Crown Jewel next and then Survivor Series.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:But yeah, I think that, yeah, I think I got. I mean I want Bayley to win. I mean I'm a Bayley fan, but I just think that Naomi is going to interfere in the match it's called the Bayley Championship. It's going to lead to them two feuding with each other, which that can be a good feud, because right now outside nia, jax baylor doesn't have anybody to uh to feud with, you know. So right now I think that'd be a good feud. They give naomi a chance to be a heel, you know. Give baylor a chance to be a baby face again, or a good baby face. You know people already like ringer ways, but I think that'd give him a good chance to kind of, you know, have a few for a few weeks. That way, no belts are online and all that, and then I not just can few it wherever she wants a few with, whether it's Tiffany or somebody else or Naomi, who knows for the next match on the court is Damian priest versus Finn Balor.
Speaker 1:No stipulation on this match, which which I'm kind of surprised in, uh, but if it's like a fight, I'm probably I'm taking, uh, damian Priest. But if it's like shenanigans, uh, shenanigans like an actual like match shenanigans, I'm probably taking Finn Balor, but overall, uh, I'll probably take in Finn Balor, but overall I'll probably say Damian Priest. I don't know.
Speaker 2:Question Does the demon make an appearance tonight?
Speaker 1:Absolutely not.
Speaker 2:You don't think he will Nope you said tonight. Well, tomorrow, Sorry. Well tomorrow night. Do you think the demon makes an appearance? Finn Balor demon character, absolutely not. You don't think he will.
Speaker 1:Nope, not a chance.
Speaker 2:I don't know. I think we haven't seen him in a while Since last year's WrestleMania Was it last year's WrestleMania yeah against Edge right. Yeah, it was against Edge, wasn't it?
Speaker 1:Yeah. Yeah so yeah, this is the last time you might have seen him.
Speaker 2:So I mean, is this the time to bring him back? I mean, is this the time to actually bring him back on? I mean make a different appearance. I mean I don't know if he will, but like this would be the match you can actually bring him back on for this match, I mean, unless the other Judges of the Day guys get involved.
Speaker 2:But maybe Finn Balor wants to do it on his own, because they did already beat up Damien Priest already on Monday Night Raw. They beat him down, already attacked him. He ate how many Coup de Grace Like four or five, a bunch of them. So I mean, Did you see, did you who'd you get, Who'd you get?
Speaker 1:picked. I picked Damian Priest.
Speaker 2:Damian Priest. I mean as much as I like Finn Balor to win this match, because I'm a Finn Balor fan. I mean I was a fan of his before he was in WWE. He was in New Japan when he was the leader, when he was the first leader of the Bullet Club. So, like for me, I'll pick Damian Priest too. I'm picking Damian Priest too. Yeah, I got Damian Priest too straight up. Even though the gentlemen they will get involved in this match, I still got Damian Priest, but I kind of do want to see the Demon Fan Ballad come out though in this one though. But I'll pick Damian Priest. In a good, hard-fought contest between two enemies, really, I mean they used to be brothers, now they're enemies. I mean this should be probably one of the better matches on the card tonight or tomorrow night.
Speaker 1:Next on the card we have Liv Morgan versus Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship, with Dominic Mysterio hanging from a shark cage.
Speaker 2:Hanging inside of a shark cage, not hanging from a shark cage.
Speaker 1:Yeah, hanging from a shark cage.
Speaker 2:He just holds his hand up, it won't last too long. He holds on to it inside of a shark cage.
Speaker 1:He might be able to do some pull-ups in there. No, not that many.
Speaker 2:I mean he might, he might be able to do some pull-ups in there, baby. I mean he's gonna be a suspended above the ring, the shark cage so like how high is he gonna be? Then just about rings we can't see, can't, so he can't different a match yeah, with this stipulation I'll probably say.
Speaker 1:I would probably say um, see here, just here's the thing. I feel like I'm when Rhea Ripley wins the Women's World Heavyweight Championship.
Speaker 2:Women's Heavyweight Championship. Huh, women's World Championship.
Speaker 1:Yeah, women's World Championship. I feel like the feud's over, because she accomplished her goal, beat Liv Morgan, and she has her title back. So I feel like that would be the end of the storyline, and I feel like there's going to be multiple matches in the storyline, don't you?
Speaker 2:I'll get to what I think is going to happen as soon as you get done with yours.
Speaker 1:So I think, when Rhea Ripley wins, the storyline is over. So I'm taking Liv Morgan.
Speaker 2:Just a straight-up match, no interference, no interference.
Speaker 1:I would say interference. But there's no way Don's getting out that shark cage, unless he has a sledgehammer up there. But yeah.
Speaker 2:That's it. You're forgetting one important thing.
Speaker 1:What.
Speaker 2:Who's on the phone with Don Listerio? Where's Finn Balor at? Who's he talking to? What's on the phone with Donovan Mysterio? Where's Finn Balor at? Who's he talking to? What's done? Remember, he said, is it done? And Finn Balor's like, yeah, we're good. Who's he talking to?
Speaker 1:Who do you think he was talking to?
Speaker 2:I know who he was talking to. I got my prediction.
Speaker 1:Say it.
Speaker 2:I think that Lil Morgan's going to win, based on interference from a certain individual from Rhea Ripley's past. Think about what Lil Morgan said to Rhea Ripley. What did she say to her beforehand?
Speaker 1:She said I'm gonna take everything, Everything.
Speaker 2:So who's Rhea Ripley's best friend in wrestling?
Speaker 1:Like in real life or wrestling both. Well, it used to be live morgan, but um, no, no, no, I'm talking, her actual best friend in wrestling is.
Speaker 2:There's one, right, there's one. They have a bunch of matching tattoos. You probably know all that, but uh raquel raquel rodriguez I didn't know they were friends in real life what better way to take everything from Rhea Ripley than to get her best friend to interfere and then cost her a match?
Speaker 1:Well, they were friends too, Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley, I know, but that's what I'm saying but that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:Liv Morgan said she's going to take everything from Rhea Ripley. She took Dominic from her, she took her belt from her.
Speaker 1:She.
Speaker 2:Well, except for Damian Priest. But what I'm saying is the only thing she has left now is taking her best friend from her, which is Raquel. So if Finn convinced Raquel to turn her back on Rhea Ripley there, you go, so you think Raquel's not injured anymore. She's not injured anymore. I don't think so and, like I said, finn, I was on the phone with somebody.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Remember he was on the phone talking to somebody. Now what's that? Now that could have been somebody for his match against Damien Priest, but it sounds like the way it looked on TV was they were talking about something for Lil' Morgan's match. You see what I'm saying?
Speaker 1:That's what it?
Speaker 2:sounds like. So if it's for Lil' Morgan's match, I'm going to say it's Raquel.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I don't see anybody else fitting, unless it's a surprise interference of somebody.
Speaker 1:But I don't see, I just thought about something, but no, what's up. But it would kind of work against Finn Balor.
Speaker 2:What do you?
Speaker 1:think AJ Styles? Yeah, I thought about it, but then it wouldn't make sense.
Speaker 2:yeah, but I mean, like I said, it just depends. Like I said, it depends on what he. I think the way, the way it looked on TV was he was talking about somebody for the Liv Morgan match yeah and first person popped in my head when I saw that was Raquel.
Speaker 2:The first person popped in my head when I saw that was Raquel. The first person that popped in my head when I saw that. So I was like, hmm, maybe it's her, or let's just surprise a new debut somebody coming up from NXT, somebody we're not thinking about, maybe, but my money is on Raquel. To come back in a fair match cost Rhea Ripley a championship, and then that leads to Rhea Ripley and Raquel fighting each other, and that way Lil Morgan doesn't have to worry about Rhea Ripley anymore. Right now she can focus on whatever she wants to do with Dominic.
Speaker 2:Mysterio on a judging day.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yep.
Speaker 1:And next or last it's Cody Rose and Roman Reigns versus the Bloodline Solo Sokoa and Jacob Fatu, and for this one it depends on two things. In my opinion, it's a return and a heel turn. I think it's either Randy Orton and Kevin Owens are going to turn on Cody Rose or Jimmy Uso returns, and if Jimmy Uso returns, I have Roman Reigns and Cody Rose. But if Randy or Kevin or both of them turn on Cody, I have the bloodline.
Speaker 2:So we have to make a decision, though. Which one do you think is going to happen? I think I know you've got two possibilities. Which one do you think is more likely to happen?
Speaker 1:I think it's more likely, kevin. Kevin turns on Cody, I think it's more likely Kevin, so I got the bloodline on this one. Solo and Jacob. Yeah yeah, this is another.
Speaker 2:Kevin, so I got the bloodline on this one. Solo and Jacob.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, this is another tough one, because I mean Roman Reigns and Cody, I mean those are the last two champs in WWE. I mean Roman Reigns had the belt for how many years? Four, almost four years, three, three and a half four years. Over a thousand days as champion. I mean Cody Rhodes. He's the one who beat Roman Reigns. I mean so. That's a I mean on paper. Nobody should beat Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes in a tag team match. Nobody should beat them. Period, I mean on paper Modern day.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's what I'm saying I mean you can do dream matches in your head, but right now on TV there's nobody in wrestling that should be able to beat Cody Rhodes for a boxing tag team match. But you got the bloodline. You got the entire bloodline. I mean Jacob Fatu. If anybody's familiar with Jacob Fatu, when he was in MLW, the independent scene dude was a beast. I mean he was doing stuff that he shouldn't have been doing for his size and he lost a little bit of weight too, and he's still doing the same kind of stuff. That's a dangerous guy right there and it's literally a dangerous guy inside and outside the ring. It's not a guy I want to walk down the alley with and see him on the other side of the alley playing. You know, I mean Kevin Owens. I think Kevin Owens is going to turn on Cody Rhodes regardless, just because of the way this whole Bloodline story has played out. I mean Roman Reigns and did you hear what was it? Michael Cole.
Speaker 1:Kevin.
Speaker 2:Owens has not pinned anybody from the Bloodline.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, he said that.
Speaker 2:Nobody. Not one time has he pinned somebody from the Bloodline in any match, because remember. He's not pinned like Jay or anything, remember when Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens won the championship, who pinned who? It wasn't Kevin Owens.
Speaker 1:Oh, Sammy pinned Jay.
Speaker 2:Exactly. Kevin Owens has never pinned anybody from the bloodline, so they pinned the bloodline, that's about it. They have not pinned anybody from the, he has not pinned anybody from the bloodline. So I think that he's mad because now cody has joined forces with the guy who, if it wasn't for ronald rey's in the bloodline, kevin owens would have won at least one championship already, maybe two or three you know, so I think kevin is gonna turn.
Speaker 2:Turn to the kevin owens. Everybody knows kevin owens to be. When he was kevin steen in ring of honor or what a possibility.
Speaker 1:They could do like a whole new character or they could probably not very possible, but he could still be a baby face.
Speaker 2:But just hate cody rose yeah, true, like I said, or jay was looking, not that jimmy was looking. Come back yeah but I'm not sure because, based on what rikishi was saying the other day, jimmy was saying whatever is wrong with him may be not healing right, unless it's just a swerve to get people thinking that?
Speaker 1:What did Rikishi say?
Speaker 2:Oh, he said something about pray for Jimmy or something like that. So I'm not sure if that was just a work to get fans talking or was it legit, I don't know. But anyways, if he is healthy and he is ready, hopefully he comes back tomorrow. If not, what happens if Cody turns on Kevin Owens, though, and he turns heel?
Speaker 1:I don't see that.
Speaker 2:I mean because think about it, how many times did Kevin Owens almost hit Cody Rhodes and Cody Rhodes didn't pay attention to that? What if Cody Rhodes said you know what, I'm going to get him first, before he gets me?
Speaker 1:His character is like that Because think about it.
Speaker 2:Think about it Most of the champions look at Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns is a babyface when he first won a championship. Then he turned into a heel. I mean it happens. Nobody liked Roman Reigns when he first won a championship. They didn't even boo him. Everybody knows that.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:But then he turned into a straight heel and became the biggest heel in the company. You know the bloodline. What if Cody Rhodes kind of does the same thing? He?
Speaker 1:sees nobody really likes it and he turns into a heel. I mean, I don't know, I'm just throwing something out there, what do you? Think just. I feel like Cody Rhodes' character fits a heel better than it does a babyface yeah, I mean no way. Yeah, it fits a heel, it fits a heel way better than a babyface one thing, though.
Speaker 1:One thing If he's going to be a baby face we all know the American nightmare how is someone going to be a nightmare after the baby face? How are you going to cheer someone and they call themselves a nightmare, american nightmare?
Speaker 2:Exactly. I mean, that's just it. His whole thing is a heel, and the fact that he's a baby face is crazy. I mean his whole persona, the way he talks about his stuff, the way he acts. People shouldn't like. The way he acts like that, People shouldn't like that. That's the same way that Miz was acting when he was the A-lister. What's the difference? I mean, it's how people actually like him.
Speaker 1:Same thing with Bianca Belair, bianca.
Speaker 2:Belair. Same way. She's a heel character technically. Jade is definitely a heel character. I mean, they're just being faces right now for some reason, I mean because the fans enjoy it. I guess fans like them, you know. But yeah, I'm going to pick Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes just for the simple fact that I think Jimmy Uso is going to return tonight or tomorrow night. I think Jimmy Uso is going to come back help out in the match. I mean, you got the offense at Grills of Disney Offense that's their name in New Japan. Grills of Disney, tonga Law and Toma Tonga. You do got those guys. I mean, people don't like the way Tonga Law wrestles sometimes.
Speaker 2:Butch Machine but how many championships have they won? Tag team championships have they won around the world? They've won championships every single place they've been to. You know what I mean.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:They've literally won championships every single company they've been in. Yeah, so you can't deny them being one of the best tag teams in the world period. Mm-hmm, they're doing something right them being one of the best tag teams in the world.
Speaker 1:Period. They're doing something right.
Speaker 2:I mean, he may not be a Bret Hart type of wrestler, or Bryan Danielson.
Speaker 1:Do you agree that he botches a lot? Of course he botches.
Speaker 2:A lot of people botch, though. A lot of people botch moves.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but like he did one of these knees and he missed how you grab somebody's arm, line them up and swerve and miss.
Speaker 2:That's how it happens. Sometimes, man, You're moving so fast in the ring it's just how you miss. It doesn't work 100% of the time. Just think about when you're playing a sport. Just by playing a sport, how many times have you dropped a baseball? Or dropped a baseball, or didn't hit a baseball, or missed a shot or you know what I'm saying or dropped a ball off your foot? It happens. I mean, it's sports. When it's sports, it's what this is Wrestling, whatever you want to call it. It's just like a regular sport. When you do something, you're not going to be 100% of anything, so you're going to mess up a little bit.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but he missed a low blow, dad, it's hard to miss a blue blue. Well, is it, though?
Speaker 1:it's right there, aim target if you're, if you're off, you slip. If you slip, why are you trying to do it?
Speaker 2:that's what he did exactly he slipped, so I can, so you can't blame him for slipping and still trying, and still trying to go without stopping. You know his mistake was he kept on going through. He should have slipped, fail, got up and did it, you know, instead of just trying to keep the move going while he was slipping. You know, but I don't know, I mean just you know, I don't know. It's just, people don't like him, but they're still tag team champions.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:We're going to see tonight on SmackDown. If they can retain him, against what is it?
Speaker 1:DIY Street Profits in a ladder match. Ladder match yeah, it's a ladder match.
Speaker 2:Street Profits in a ladder match yeah it's a ladder match, and then you also have Tiffany Stratton and Naomi in a singles match, and then you also have Meechan and Chelsea Green in a dumpster match, which is like a street fight match, I guess. I guess it's a street fight, but you have to put your opponent in a dumpster man, don't you? Match which?
Speaker 1:is like well then, I can street fight much.
Speaker 2:I guess, uh, I guess it's a street fight, but you have to put your opponent in a dumpster. Yeah, if the email mess on there.
Speaker 1:Oh, it is down in terms yeah, anybody else gonna be on there, I'm sure, sure Friday.
Speaker 2:Maybe it might do something backstage. Cody Rhodes has to be there, right.
Speaker 1:Yeah, probably Kevin Owens, randy Orton, ricky the return of Ricky. No, I'm not coming back, but yeah do you think they want us for it to forget about Ricky? Just throw him in the he wasn't hope he won't public uses.
Speaker 2:He won't get so much fat. One focus shares was supposed to. It was supposed to be a like a job. He's a basic job, or what he was, and the fans like them, though you know the most over jobber in history. Exactly. But yes, I mean Actually that's James Ellsworth, but we're not going to talk about that. But yeah, james Ellsworth was probably the biggest jobber.
Speaker 1:Was he really that over, though, with the fans? Yes. What about Enzo, though?
Speaker 2:Enzo wasn't a jobber, though he was a wrestler. I'm saying, james Ellsworth came on as a jobber, but he wasn't over the ring, but think about it. He came on as a jobber to Braun Strowman.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah.
Speaker 2:Remember Mm-hmm Braun Strowman choked him out the ring. Yeah, he was a jobber but he ended up having a money in the bank match, basically with Carmella you know, winning it for her.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:You know so. But yeah, I got to digress but yeah, so yeah, SmackDown tonight should be pretty interesting. See what kind of happens there. See if Kevin Owens, if the storyline between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes kind of progresses a little more. We saw a little bit of it last week with Kevin Owens and Cody Rose in the tag team match. We'll see how it kind of goes today. I mean, we'll see if Ramirez comes out, maybe, maybe not. We don't know what happens with that. Bayley and Naomi we'll see some more of that dynamics to see if they're going to have their little match, like I predicted earlier. I mean, I know Tiffany and Nia. They're friends right now, but Tiffany has a briefcase. She can catch up with Nia whenever she wants to. Will it be tomorrow night? Will it be tonight? Will it be Survivor Series? Will she wait until WrestleMania or?
Speaker 1:Royal Rumble? I don't see that happening.
Speaker 2:How long is she going to wait? I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 1:I think it's a matter of how long they want to stretch out Nia Jax's title reign.
Speaker 2:Yeah. Yeah, I got you, but you know anything else, buddy.
Speaker 1:No, I think that's it.
Speaker 2:All right, so broadcasting live from ATL, home of Bad Blood, premier Live Event. I'm Ben, I'm Bash. This has been another episode of.
Speaker 1:Tag Team Talk.
