We celebrate our one-year podcast anniversary while delivering our predictions for NXT Stand and Deliver during WrestleMania weekend, breaking down every championship match and anticipating which stars might move to the main roster following the event.
• Roxanne Perez's placement on the pre-show is surprising given her Royal Rumble runner-up status and Elimination Chamber appearance
• DarkState likely to defeat the D'Angelo Family due to better cohesion and Tony D's crew experiencing internal tension
• Ricky Saints (formerly Ricky Starks) expected to retain the North American Championship against fellow former AEW star Ethan Page
• Sol Ruca and Zaria favored to win the six-woman ladder match for the Women's North American Championship
• Tension between Nathan Frazier and Axiom points to Hank and Tank capturing the Tag Team Championships
• Jordynne Grace projected to win the Women's Championship in the fatal four-way, with Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia potentially main roster bound
• Oba Femi likely to retain the NXT Championship, though 20-year-old Je’Von Evans represents the future of the brand
• Trick Williams expected to debut on either Raw or SmackDown following Stand and Deliver
Podcast Introduction & One Year Anniversary
Speaker 1Welcome to the Ben and Bash Podcast Tag Team Talk. I'm Ben, I'm Bash. It's time to lift up your boots and hit the mat with the Ben and Bash Podcast Tag Team Talk.
Women's Tag Team Championship Predictions
Speaker 2All right, here we are for another one. Oh, it's also a special occasion. Today it's our one year. So we've been doing this for one year now. So you know, switch up a little bit with the new look. You know new look area. But but yeah, as always, we're going to bring you out some predictions. So this one is going to be for stand and deliver NXT for WrestleMania weekend. So let's get to it In the pre-show.
Speaker 1It's a fatal four wayway between metaphor, uh, fatal influence, tatum paxley and gg dolan and roxanne perez and kora j. And this is for the uh women's championships which is being held by live and raquel right now. But, um, they have a match against Bayley and Lyra at WrestleMania. So, yeah, whoever wins that faces the winner of this. But yeah, I don't know, this is a pretty tough one, but actually, no, I don't think it's that hard, but it's kind of hard. I personally would pick Roxanne. No, I'm gonna pick metaphor, metaphor, to win this metaphor, that's it, no other reason just uh, wait, wait, a minute, hold, let me change my pick.
Speaker 1Roxanne Perez and Corey Jade.
Speaker 2Any reason.
Speaker 1I don't know, I just I don't know.
Speaker 2Y'all know, just picked them.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2I got you. So first, before I get started on this, why is Roxanne going to pre-show for NXT?
Speaker 1Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2I mean I mean she was in the mission chamber. Was she coming second in that? Didn't she get pinned by Bianca?
Speaker 1No.
Speaker 2Who did she get pinned?
Speaker 1by.
Speaker 2Bailey.
Speaker 1Bailey no, but no, bailey's the first one out.
Speaker 2Yeah, Roxanne pinned her.
Speaker 1Yeah, roxanne pinned her, so who pinned?
Speaker 2Roxanne, was it? I think it was live well anyways. But anyway, what I'm saying is she was in the mission chamber did pretty good at that man.
Speaker 1She was in the royal rumble came in second in the room behind charlotte. Yep, that's a good accomplishment.
Speaker 2Runner-up and you end up being on the pre-show of of nxt.
Speaker 1You gotta think look, look, here are two. Here are the runners up of the Royal Rumbles, roxanne Perez and John Cena. Look where John Cena is right now, and look where Roxanne Perez is right now.
Speaker 2Exactly, I mean Roxanne Perez. I mean nothing against her. I mean I know she's excited, she's a good wrestler, she's still gonna make this a good match, regardless of her and Cora. But the fact that a former Women's World Champion with two or three-time NXT champion is on the pre-show of NXT and not the main show or even WrestleMania. I thought they were going to have her feud with Bayley.
Speaker 1Yeah, they just stopped it. I mean, what happened with that?
Speaker 2They just stopped all of a sudden and now Bayley's in a match at Wrestling Night 1. We can see that in our next show. But yeah, I'm not sure. I mean I'm going to go with Roxanne and hold on. Talk about Roxanne, or do. Is it Family Influence, because both of them are probably going to win? When are they going to win?
Speaker 2So metaphor and team, yeah, so my original thing, because metaphor is going to probably go to the main roster, mm-hmm. Well, you can still win. It's not the NFC Championship. This is the WWE Women's Tag Team, so you can still go to the main roster, but I think Roxanne and Cora may do better with the tag team championships going to the main roster. This is WrestleMania weekend. Come Monday they're going to have some new debuts.
Speaker 2Monday and next Friday they're going to have some debuts, because that's when they usually call some people from NXT. They debut Monday after WrestleMania. With that being said, I'm gonna go. You picked Roxanne and Kord, yeah, I know, but yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and pick Roxanne and Kord as well, just for the simple fact that they are best. I mean, I call them form best friends, but they're kinda I guess they may get along in this match for the sake of what's at stake. I mean WrestleMania weekend, doing this, doing that. But uh, yeah, I got. I got Cora and Roxanne Perez come down on top winning the women's tag team championship and then move to the main roster with the championship next Mm-hmm.
Speaker 1Next for the first match on the actual card.
Speaker 2We're not winning tag team championship, they're winning number one contender.
Speaker 1Oh, so you don't think they're going to win the actual championship?
Speaker 2I don't know. It depends on who I think is going to win the tag team match at WrestleMania.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Well, we'll talk about that one on that show, but they're going to win number one contender match. If they win the tag team match, I don't know yet.
Dark State vs. D'Angelo Family Analysis
Speaker 1we'll decide that based on another day but yeah, for the first match on the actual card is the D'Angelo family, which is Tony D'Angelo, stack Sorenzo and Lusa Crucifino, versus Dark State, which is Dion Monix, cutler James and lusa crucifino, versus dark state, which is uh, dion monix, uh cutler james, uh, staquon sugars, um and or, um or series griffin osiris, osiris, sorry, uh, but um, yeah, the dark state can use any three of those people. But yeah, I feel like the story and just the overall premise. I think this is Dark State's match to win.
Speaker 2Yeah, I think. So I'm going to agree with you again, for a simple fact that you probably know this, though, but Saquon Sugars I can't remember what his name was on the independent scene, but he's a veteran, he's actually a veteran, he is. Yeah, he's actually been wrestling for a while. He's probably the veteran of that entire group. The rest of those guys are from college, pretty much Cyrus and Cutler. Cutler, I think, went to the same school as Julius Creed.
Speaker 1And Cutler. I don't know if it's Cutler or somebody else, but one of these guys is on LFG, yeah.
Speaker 2I think it's Cutler. Yeah, but what I'm saying is Cutler. I think Cutler went to school. All of you went to school the same year with but he went to Duke and he was a wrestler too with. Julius Creed went to Duke too, mm-hmm.
Speaker 2I don't know if they were on the same team or not, but he's a wrestler, like Julius Creed Os Dion Lennon we know about him already from being on NXT before. He's a football player as well, but, like I said, saquon is a wrestler. I think he's been a wrestler for a while, a few years now, not a long time. He's not like an AJ Styles, or I won't say a machine gun a long time, but a few years longer than the rest of the guys. So technically I make him, my guess, the unofficial leader. I guess technically, since he's.
Speaker 1I think this deal well we give. This is most known on NXT, but what he's like leading the group, every time he's like do this, do this, do that, run that yeah, but you can be a leader and not leave.
Speaker 2You can.
Speaker 2You can be a leader and still be behind, like you can be the mastermind behind everything you know, yeah you can be the leader and be the mastermind behind everything and not actually be the one you know, be the one who works behind the scenes. Have somebody else keep the orders. Mm-hmm, you know, that's why I call it masterminds, you know. But yeah, I got Darkstate winning this match. They need it way more than the D'Angelo family. Yeah, plus the D' Angelo family. They're kinda not feuding, but they're kinda not agreeing with each other right now, with what Stax did on NXT having to park a lot of brawl without Tony's blessing, which you don't do that with Dunn. You got to get Dunn's blessing before you do anything. We all get the boss's blessing period before you do anything like that, especially when it comes to fighting. You know, had Tony and I came out there and saved them, what would have happened?
Speaker 1They would have just got left there.
Speaker 2Exactly or worse, you know who knows what would have happened. But now Tony seems like he's down with them now but they're still in the backside of they went out without them, you know, behind his back. So that's why I got dark state. When they're, they're more of a cohesive unit right now.
Speaker 1They're more kind of aligned with each other right now yeah, um, but for the second match on the card, it's ricky saints versus ethan page for the nxt north american championship, and ricky saints is the champion and this one I mean I really want Ethan Page to win, because I just want to see him hold the North American Championship, but Sins really just wanted you know it don't matter.
Speaker 2You win championship and lose it to Slayer.
Speaker 1Yeah, but um, um, but yeah, uh, I would probably say Ricky Saints is going to retain the championship.
Speaker 2Yeah, I mean Ricky Saints, better known as Ricky Starks, and Ethan Page. A year ago was in the AEW both of them. Now they're in the same delivery. I mean crazy. What a year can do.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2You know, I mean what happened over there at AEW. I don't know if you know Ethan Page. I think he felt pretty professionally. I think I think Ricky wanted to leave, like that, but then they held him Kind of how he did Ray Phoenix.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2He kind of froze his contract where he couldn't go nowhere and then he just stopped showing on TV. But he was still employed for almost a year before he was able to leave.
Speaker 1Why did he do that?
Speaker 2It's business. If you know somebody wants to go to another company, you always let them go.
Speaker 1How did?
Speaker 2they tell People know, people know.
Speaker 1Well, anybody about to leave AEW moves like he's going to WWE anyways.
Speaker 2Exactly. And then Ricky Starr is friends with Bayley and Ethan Page and other people. He's actually friends with some of the people that's in NXT. You know he's been on WWE TV before as a jobber. So I mean most wrestlers you see were jobbers or security guards or something at one point in time.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Before they became a, a AEW or TNA or NWA or New Japan or wherever they were at. Before they came to me they were jobbers or security guards or police officers or whatever you want. You know. Whatever it is, you know, yeah, but yeah, he was. I remember him being a jobber. I can't remember the match he was in, but yeah, he was a jobber. Mm-hmm. You know Him and his other used to be a tag team partner, aaron Solo, mm-hmm. Yeah, both of them were jobbers in a tag team match. I wouldn't say Viking rage, but it might have been somebody else.
Speaker 1But yeah, yeah, that's all for that match.
Speaker 2No, I'm gonna go with Ricky Sainz as well. I mean, we're kind of on the same page right now. Mm-hm, I mean it's gonna be a good match. I just don't see Ethan Page beating Ricky Starks. Mm-hm, I just don't see it. I mean, do I want him to win? Sure, but do I see him winning? I don't think so. So I'm going to go with that.
Women's Ladder Match Predictions
Speaker 1Yep For the third match on the card. I think this is going to change our likeness. In this it's Zaria versus Kalani versus Soruka versus Izzy Dane versus Lola Weiss versus Thea Hale for the NXT Women's North American Championship in a ladder match right.
Speaker 2Ladder match yeah.
Speaker 1And for this one, I don't know. I was trying to think about this, but I assumed I went for Thea Hale immediately, but then I thought about it and then I think, Either sorry or sorry, but I feel like I know what you're going to do. Okay, Because if I go Soruka you're going to go Zarya, and if I go Zarya you're going to go Soruka, I feel like. But personally I am going with Zarya.
Speaker 2And your reason.
Speaker 1No, but I am predicting the finish of the match. I know exactly what's going to happen. What's that. Zarya and Zorua are going to climb the ladder at the same time, and then they're going to look at each other, and then they're going to start fighting, and then Zarya's going to win. That's my prediction. Is it going to go exactly like that, down to the exact movement? But yeah, I think Zarya's going to win.
Speaker 2Okay, I mean good finish, but wrong person who? Saul Rooker? I mean, like I said, kalani, she's already had it already. Cool, no, she doesn't need it. Lola, she can use it, but when that's how you see her on TV wrestling, besides the qualifying match, Dang, that's a good point, Exactly I haven't seen her on TV in a while. Unless she may have been hurt, I don't know. But Izzy Dane nah.
Speaker 1Dang. I was going to say Not to mad about it but she's not ready yet.
Speaker 2She's still green, she's still new. I mean, what about the colon though? Yeah, that's, that's good. It's actually good that she's with people like that. I mean her and, um, I can't think of the mohawk name.
Speaker 1But um, like you know, you can't remember that you go, you go something.
Speaker 2You go something with the sea yeah, but the uh, her and the gal and and the other other calling out the mojo. They're going to actually go good with Sean Spears and what's his other name Used to be with Briggs Jensen. Brooke Jensen. He's a second generation wrestler.
Speaker 1His dad used to wrestle back in the day. Six Second, oh six. I thought you said six, no, no.
Speaker 2Off topic a little bit. I think Ava is the most generational. Because her dad, her granddad and her great granddad. So she's a fourth generation, so she may be the first. I think she's the first fourth generation wrestler. Yeah, wrestler yeah, costa Rock is three, natalia's three, roman Reigns is two, two, maybe three, jacob Fatu three. So yeah, there's a lot of three generational wrestlers, but no fourth generation wrestlers, except for Ava yeah until now. If even man's kids started wrestling, then they may be for Debbie for two one day, stephanie.
Speaker 1Yeah, but he's like he's sports he was.
Speaker 2He was that before he was a floater. We did so, let's still generational wrestler. He was in the company. That's one generation. So play it that still so, this fourth generation. So yeah, it's still a generational wrestler. He was in the company. That's one generation. So it's fourth generation. So yeah, it's still so. Yeah, ava's the fourth generation. She's the only one right now I can think of on top of that.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2But yeah. So Ruka, I think, is gonna win, Like I said. But Izzy Dames, she's gonna be good eventually, I think, but she's not there yet. It's good that she's with Sean Spears, brooks Jensen. That's going to give her some veteran leadership. Like I said, sean Spears is a good wrestler. He's up there. People might not like him for whatever reason, but as far as his pure wrestling ability, he's up there by far. I'm going to go with Sol Ruka Similar finish to what you said, but soul's gonna come out on top on this one. I kind of I wanted zaria to win because she was. She was one, she was part of the big three that came in oh yeah you know, uh, stephanie, julia zaria, all came in back to back to back.
Speaker 2I mean shot. I was cooking with that one, he was cooking, and then he brought in Jordan, bruce and who knows who's gonna bring it later Once, you know once. And he has people on LFG coming up. Olympic gold medalist. I mean another Olympic gold medalist, I mean come on now. I mean cause it's only, it's only been what One Olympic gold medalist so far hurry up. Is he the one?
Speaker 1no, no, no no, no, no what about that other guy? I? Know oh did he win, the little man?
Speaker 2no, he won pan-american games, but not the olympics, not a gold medal anyways.
Speaker 1But he's a liberty too I could have sworn, jackie will won no, he might have won the middle, but now he went olympics.
Speaker 2Yeah, uh, I guess not. I guess it's only because we got um other gable. That was there.
Speaker 1There was the evil sim, he was there for two seconds.
Speaker 2Yeah, he wasn't there long enough. But yeah, he was the second one technically he had a big kite.
Speaker 1But like, no, like, yeah, he was the second one technically.
Speaker 2But then they got a girl. She's the first female. I think she's gotta be first female yeah, yeah, I saw her yeah, with the, uh, I guess the dress, I guess two, at least two yeah at least two. Yeah, but she's a, but she's a. She's a wrestling fan, though she's a real fan, like you can tell, like she actually loves doing what she do. You know she's not just doing it because it's her secondary, you know first option to work out. She enjoys wrestling like WWE style. You know sports entertainment as they call it.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2But anyway, I'll talk to her a little bit. But yeah, so Ruka thinks she's going to win this match pretty easily. I think Not easily, but she's going to win this match. Not easily, but she's going to win this match. And you know, I mean she was a rookie of the year last year. She was yes, before she got hurt For the. Slammings no for PWI.
Speaker 1Oh, the actual PWI.
Speaker 2Yes, the actual PWI. She was a rookie of the year.
Speaker 1Not the Slammings.
Speaker 2No, like she was the actual PWI rookie of the year 2024? I believe it was 2024. Yeah, 2023, 2024, one of them two, yes, yes.
Speaker 1Dang.
Speaker 2And then she got hurt. Remember she got hurt. She was out for like six, seven months.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Tag Team Championship & Potential Breakup
Speaker 2So yeah, she needs to win now because she has little to that hype now. You don't win Rookie of the Year, something that like Sting and people like that I think John Cena might have won it. People like that won it. And Brock Lesnar and you know guys like that win it. Charlotte Flair you know people like that win it. You don't just win that and only win a championship. You know you got to do something with that.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2You know so. But anyways, that's my thing there and that's it. That's it so. So we're going to be some crazy stunts to on there. She's gonna do some crazy stuff off the top of letter probably, you know we have some pretty similar pics so far so far has that.
Speaker 1We change on that one though but like they're like very close, closer, like a team yeah, cool so far anyways, yeah, that, that's it.
Speaker 2That was it.
Speaker 1Okay, for the fourth match on the card, it's Nathan Frazier and Axiom versus Hank and Tink for the NXT Tag Team Championships. And for this one you can kind of see it's been building for a while. Nathan Frazier and Axiom kind of like not being on the same page at all, and Hank and Tank have been the absolute opposite. They've been like basically the same person. They talked to a lot of people, failed a lot of times, but this time I don't think they come up short. I think they win the NXT Tag Team Championships and I have a bonus I think Nathan Frazier is going to turn on Axiom after they lose.
Speaker 2You think so? Yep, yeah, I think he's building up. Is Nathan Frazier, or is it Axiom's turn? One of them's going to turn?
Speaker 1I think it's Nathan Fraser, because he's the one who doesn't care or is jealous.
Speaker 2And that's how accent turns on him, because Nathan Fraser doesn't care, and accent loses the belt because Nathan Fraser didn't care and it cost him the match. You know what I'm saying, not saying that's what happens, but I'm saying that's usually how it happens when somebody like that doesn't care and the other one turned on the other one because you cost me a match, because you were joking around for the last few weeks, you know, doing these side missions, like you were doing over in England, wrestling over there and all this stuff. You know, instead of focusing on tag team championships that we got um, as much as I won't. I don't know about Hank and Taint, though, can they?
Speaker 1Can they hold the titles?
Speaker 2Yes, can they? I'm trying to figure out how to phrase it. Can they lead a division in NXT? Think about how many men tag teams you have in NXT right now and how many are coming up through LFG and Evolve and stuff like that.
Speaker 1Yeah, there's a whole gauntlet, there's a whole bunch of them.
Speaker 2So can they be the ones to hold it down If Nathan Frazier and Hexton lose? Like Nathan Frazier, whether you like him or not, they've been holding tag team titles down. They defend them everywhere. They put on good matches, you know. So can Hank and Tank do the same thing, you know? I mean, yes, do I want to need to phrase an excellent breakup? Of course, this would be a time to do it WrestleMania weekend. We need something big to happen. So, yeah, we need something big to happen with this, because that's kind of how WrestleMania Weeks works, you know.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2But other than that we'll see. But yeah, I'm going to go Hank and Tank because I want to see Axl and Nathan break up a few of each other. Those are going to be some good matches right there. Who's going to be the heel of that, I don't know.
Speaker 2Um maybe, like I said, nathan fraser, but also I could see axel turn on the professor because he both wins. Because nathan fraser has been been doing side missions, not caring, not doing anything and costing the match. They've almost lost. A few times called nathan fraser yeah, because he missed you you know, not tagging the man or all kinds of anomalous moves in the match.
Women's Championship Fatal Four-Way
Speaker 1So I can see it's actually cost him his time and he broke his nose one time. I forgot what happened, oh yeah, because he had a match before the match.
Speaker 2That's right, he had two matches, yep.
Speaker 1But yeah, that's all you can see for that match.
Speaker 2Yeah, Hating Tank.
Speaker 1Mm-hmm Dang, we have like the same predictions.
Speaker 2Pretty much.
Speaker 1But for the fifth match on the card. It's a fatal four-way for the NXT Women's Championship.
Speaker 2It's definitely we're probably going to change that right here, but go ahead.
Speaker 1You think so?
Speaker 2Yeah, go ahead.
Speaker 1I think it's going to be Stephanie Valcaire versus Julia versus Jordan Grace versus Jada Parker, and you might be surprised by this, but I think Stephanie Valcaire is going to lose the title.
Speaker 2To Either Jordan Grace or Jada parker can I pick one?
Speaker 1I am going to pick. I know this is gonna mess me up, but I'm picking jada park. What's up?
Speaker 2That's what I was going to pick, but I'll probably pick my second choice, so you can be a little different this time around.
Speaker 1Dang, you're going to pick. How do you?
Speaker 2keep doing that. Go ahead, go ahead. I'll finish up while you're hard winning, ms Parker.
Speaker 1Because I just think she's been the most dominant, the most confident Her video packages recently. Like she has motivation into this and she's the most confident by far and I just see her holding the title for a long not a long time but like I just see her holding the title very well and, yeah, I just think she is the best built for the title.
Speaker 2Yeah, because I, meania and stephanie can move to the main roster on monday yeah I mean, they're that good, they can easily go to the main roster.
Speaker 1Oh, and also side thing for this. I think stephanie valcaire and julia um cross each other out because they're just gonna fight the whole time mm-hmm, and then joy bracing, and jay didn't do the same thing yeah they've been fighting that stage.
Speaker 2It's been on site with them since they crossed paths With each other the first time. But yeah, I mean, like I said, stephanie and Julia could literally go to the main roster on Monday and nobody would question it, even though they wouldn't have been there for Less than a year. I mean, nobody would question it at all. Kevin Owens was in NXT For less than a year. Mania roster beat John Cena Wait he beat John Cena?
Speaker 1Yes, oh, I thought he just attacked John Cena.
Speaker 2He did attack him in the main roster and he beat him. But I'm just saying he can do one of those numbers where he can be on the main roster on Monday easily and be in a feud and then have a match at was it no Mercy? The next? A match at? Uh, was it no mercy? The next? What's next? No, backlash, backlash, backlash. That's what that verse made. Yeah, but they can either have a match at that. That's how good they are. But who do I want rio picking?
Speaker 2uh, yeah, yeah, I'm picking, uh as much as I mean I want jada parker to win. I'm not gonna even hold you. I want jada park Parker to win. Like I said, she's been. Her promos have been good. Her in-ring ability has been better. You can tell she's been working behind the scenes, getting better at everything. Attitude has always been there. Affleck being a soccer player, got the Affleck Jordan Grace the juggernaut. We call her little power pump. What's her name? I think it's something like that when she was with Big Power Pump.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Julia Julia and Stephanie Viqueir. Like I said, this is a hard one, man, this is a real hard one. Any of them can win, but, like I said, I wanted Jada Parker to win. I'm going to go different, just to be a little different on this one.
Speaker 1That's how I want to win.
Speaker 2But I'm going to do my second choice, which is I don't want Stephanie. That's how I want to win. But I'm going to do my second choice, which is do I want Stephanie or do I want Jordan Grace? I like Julia too, but Jordan Grace just came up, yeah, Because it's a favorite four-way Stephanie don't have to lose the belts. I'm gonna pick Jordan Grace. I'm gonna pick Jordan Grace. Jordan I come from 10A, used to be a former 10A champion. I'm gonna pick her and I'm gonna have her winning. Holding the women division down, yeah, I mean, I got between her and Jada Parker, but once I want Jada Parker to win, I think Jordan Grace may pull it out at the very end. But yeah, I got Jordan Grace to win Women's Championship.
Main Event: NXT Championship Triple Threat
Speaker 1And for the last match on the card, the main event, it's Oba Femi versus Chickalyn versus Javon Evans for the NXT Championship. And this one I don't think we're on the same page. I don't know though. Probably not, definitely probably not. I mean, I know your number. One thing is going to go straight to he's too young, you know. He's not old enough. That's the same thing, but you know. But like I'm picking Yvonne Evans to pull it out with his underdog story, and win, you might be on the same page then.
Speaker 1And win the NXT Championship.
Speaker 2You might be on the same page then.
Speaker 1Oh, you wanted him to win too.
Speaker 2I didn't want him to win. I'm finna. Tell you why. I didn't want him to win. I'm finna tell you why I think he's gonna win. You know why you picked.
Speaker 1Joel Nevin Yep.
Speaker 2Okay, trig Williams When's he going to the main roster?
Speaker 1Has to be soon. I feel like he's gonna do it tomorrow.
Speaker 2He's gonna be on the main roster Monday probably, or Friday, friday.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Or they're going to do Some vignettes for him After Sam Deliver, where he debuts Like Carmelo Hayes did.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Oba Femi. He could make Ross some money too, literally both of them, just like Julia and Stephanie. Oba and Trick Can definitely go To the main roster.
Speaker 1Oh yeah, definitely.
Speaker 2People have been Wanting that for a while and by having him go to the main roster, you open up slots for other guys to step up and do what they got to do. You know, I mean, when you have two people leave, go to the main roster. You open up slots for other people to step in. That's why Javon Evans is the best choice for that, because he's not going to the main roster right now.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Even if I mean he could go, could easily go to the main roster, but why? He got plenty of time. He's young, he has plenty of time to develop plenty of time. You don't need to go to the main roster right now. He can easily go there and challenge Randy Orton's record for youngest world champion. I think he's like 24, so he has like 3 years left, or something like that, but 4 years. So 4 years left to challenge Randy that, but four years. Actually he's 20. So four years left the challenge. I think randy warden's record, I think so and I think um austin theory was the youngest united states yeah united states champion.
Speaker 1So I think he was like also a money in the bank yeah.
Speaker 2So he has a chance to challenge all those records, but he still has. He still has two or three years left to even get caught before even you, even before he needs to. So two or three more years nxt and go to the main roster. He can easily do that, you know. Develop more, yeah, get more promos under his belt. I mean his promos are good, but he needs a little bit more season on. Like a little bit more uh you know definition. Like a little more um. What do you call it? Um? Just a little more on. You know definition. I get no more um. What do you call it? Um? Just put it more on. You know, just remorn his promos. You know um.
Speaker 2But yeah, he's. I mean he's a good wrestler. He's a good wrestler. I mean I mean for him to be as young as he is and then wrestling as long as he is, it'd be as good as he is already him at 20 he didn't hit his prime. He gets 25, 26, 25, 26,. He's going to be probably up there as far as best wrestlers in the world. He had another six more years before he even gets to his prime. He's not even done growing yet. He can still get taller or bigger to get into his adult body. He's not even in his adult body yet. Hold on to get into his adult body.
Speaker 1He's not even in his adult body, yet you know so. So hold on Speaking of that. That's why they called him a child on NXT, yeah.
Speaker 2I mean compared to Trick Williams, the older family he is.
Speaker 1Yeah, I mean.
Speaker 2I can't call the thing older than Trick. Both of their late 20s, almost like maybe 30. Their late 20s, for sure.
Speaker 1I mean technically, I think by law 21 is an adult.
Speaker 2Well, 18 is an adult. Technically, 18 is an adult and the United States 18 is technically. But 21,. You can pretty much do anything you know as far as legally-wise.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2But I know Trickle Green's not going to win because he has to go to the main roster. He's been in the NCAA too long, so same logic with Obafemi long oh. But I don't know about they. Can leave it, can? They can easily have nxt for a little bit longer and break him up later yeah but john evans is the the obvious choice to win, is he?
Speaker 1yeah, if you want to move over family and trick, we have to the main yeah, but what if they don't want people to think they're doing it?
Speaker 2That's the point, though. Even if you don't, you got to get down to it. Even if Opa Femi wins and goes to the main roster, he has to relinquish his championship.
Speaker 1Yeah, what's the point of that when Javon Irving is right?
Speaker 2there I mean Asuka did it. Asuka never lost to NXT yeah, she never lost so she fought.
Speaker 1Charlotte Flair, you said I don't?
Speaker 2it was what it seems like, but yeah, she never lost. So she fought Charlotte Flair WrestleMania. That's her first loss ever it was for WWE yeah so yeah, nxt undefeated left, nxt relinquished. The belt went to the main roster, ran through. Everybody won a Royal Rumble. Lost to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania.
Speaker 1I don't see why she lost I don't know, but anyways.
Speaker 2So Ova could do something similar where he could still win, relinquish the belt, move to the main roster. So I mean, that's what I got, so that's what I'm going with. Yeah, I'm going to go with Obafemi winning retaining, but not surprised if Javon Evans wins.
Speaker 1Oh, you're going with Obafemi.
Speaker 2Obafemi winning yes.
Speaker 1Oh, okay.
Speaker 2But I would not be surprised if Javon Evans won Trick Williams. No, Just because he's going to the main roster.
Speaker 1Dang. So Trick Williams is out.
Speaker 2Well, no just because he's going to the main roster.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2He's guaranteed going to the main roster.
Speaker 1Guaranteed.
Speaker 2Guaranteed going to the main roster.
Speaker 1After this guaranteed After this.
Speaker 2He's going to the main roster. Either Monday or Friday. Yeah, he may not, or they may do like he did with Ray Fingerson do some vignettes. Yeah, I mean who's that guy?
Speaker 1they've been advertising on Friday Night Smackdown Aleister Black and it's pretty much Aleister Black, but they could do some Well. I mean, it's not like it's the difference between calling someone up and like a debut and he's going to debut probably on Smackdown tonight before WrestleMania. And Rusev too.
Speaker 2He also got re-signed, but he's not back yet. He's going to come back later on.
Speaker 1Yeah, after WrestleMania probably. But yeah, but yeah, I think Joe Williams also gets called up.
Speaker 2So he doesn't have a chance to win. I mean, he's not going to say he doesn't have a chance, like he's not a good wrestler, but just the fact. That'm not going to say he doesn't have a chance, like he's not a good wrestler, but just the fact that he's going to get called up and Oba between Oba and Javon Evans. Javon Evans actually probably will win it, but I think Oba's going to win it, kind of pull like an Oscar. If he does win it, go to the main roster, lucasville. Boom, there you go.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2But yeah, is that it, that's it for me, man.
Speaker 1Alright, it's for me personally.
Speaker 2I'm a win? You think so yep we're something pretty close to like the last couple, last ones.
Speaker 1I think we're different on three yeah, on three and we're like barely different. Yeah, but yep this seems like it's going to be a pretty good card, though oh yeah, definitely, I mean, since there was always, but yep, this seems like it's gonna be a pretty good card though.
Speaker 2Yeah, definitely. I mean, since there was always, even it was Takeover, it's always been pretty good. I mean Sean Mock has done pretty good Trilogy Before Him. They've all been pretty good on NXT cards, especially Yep Storylines always been good and all that, but anything else.
Speaker 1No, I don't think so.
Speaker 2Good Yep, All right so, with that being said, but anything else, no, I don't think, I don't think so. Good, all right. So with that being said, I'm Ben, I'm Bash. This has been an episode of Tag Team Talk.
