Speaker 2Alright , here we are for another one . We are going to be doing what are we doing ? Nxt Battleground . We got a lot of wrestling coming on this weekend . I forgot what we're doing today , yeah , Because we're also going to be doing AEW , WWE and nothing after this . So I kind of forgot what we're doing right now . But , yeah , we're going to be doing NXT Battleground . So , yeah , you know , as always , predictions , what we think is going to happen , what we think is going to happen afterwards , storylines , all that kind of stuff .

Hagen Tank vs The Culling
Speaker 1, let's get to it . Okay , for the first match on the card , it's Hagen Tank and Josh Briggs versus the Culling . So for this one I'm not really sure , because I don't know , because I was trying to plan out all my stuff , because a lot of these I just don't expect who to win . So I was trying to plan this out , but then I thought about it for a second . I don't know , but I probably have the Cullen , because they've been on kind of a slump since Sean Spears lost to Ricky Saints .
Speaker 2Yeah , I can see that . So who do you got winning the ?
Speaker 1Cullen , you got the . You got winning the .
Speaker 2Coler , you got the Coler winning Yep Just straight up .
Speaker 1Wait a minute actually , no , no , I'm picking Hank and Tink and Josh Briggs . I forgot they're the NXT champions .
Speaker 2But the belts not on the line though , I know . So I mean the belts not on the line . So you don't have to . Actually , I mean they don't have to lose . They're not going to lose their belts if they lose .

Speaker 2I got you , so here's my thing I'm going with the colon because Josh Briggs is going to turn heel .

Speaker 2so yes , absolutely , they've been hitting at it for a while . I'm not having . He's a better heel anyways . He hasn't been able to do heel much in NXT , but independent scene he's a way better heel . He's a good heel . He's one of the because he's a big guy . Usually guys like that are better heels anyways .

Speaker 2Corbin , those kind of guys are better heels anyways , and they are faces . He's trying to be a face and you see , his friends are always leaving him , so that's a good way to turn him heel , not because he wants to turn heel , but because his friends all leave him . So why do I need friends now ? I'm going to do everything myself , so I don't need any friends . You see what I'm saying . So I think he's gonna turn on hank and tank and it cost them the uh , it cost them the match and that way the colon wins . Like it's not gonna be fair , but that's what . That's what I'm going with . I'm going with the colon wins because , because Josh Briggs turns on him , Mm-hmm .
Speaker 1Yep , mm-hmm , yeah , I could . You could tell over a couple of weeks that he might turn heel .
Speaker 2Yeah , that's what I'm thinking . They're going to pull this on the battleground because it's a premium live event too . I mean , usually good things happen on NXT . Nxt usually have good premium live events anyways . So I'm expecting something to happen on either this match or one of the other matches . Something's going to happen , so I'm expecting at least this one's going to probably have a good turning point on this one .

Speaker 1Tony D'Angelo versus Stacks For this one . Stacks just turned heel at the last favorite . What was the last favorite-per-view ?
Speaker 2That was the standard liver , wasn't it ? No For NXT .
Speaker 1No Wait , I like this . Oh yeah , it was .

Speaker 2Yeah , because they don't have as many as the main roster .
Speaker 1Yeah , but I think that Stax wins , because I think Stacks wins because he just turned heel . I don't think he should lose that quickly , you know .

Speaker 2We haven't seen him in a while . What happened to him in that desert ?

Speaker 2I mean , we saw what they implied , but that don't mean that actually happened , because it's been Stacks turned him . Yeah , could be torturing him right now , getting him to turn towards his side .
Speaker 1Yeah , I don't know . I might say that I don't know . No , I don't know . I might say that I don't know ?
Speaker 2No , I don't think that's going to happen . So who are you going with Stacks ? So you're going with Stacks , yep as much as .
Speaker 2I hate to go with it . I'm going to have to go with Stacks as well , just because Stacks like I said before , stacks needs to win more because he just turned heel . You can't turn a guy heel like this , have a whole storyline built like this and have him lose his first match against Tony D'Angelo , because Tony D doesn't need this . I'm sure this is leading to Tony D'Angelo going to the main roster here soon . I'm sure this is what this is .
Speaker 1Unless he wins the NXTxt title first no , I think he's gonna he . You don't think everybody needs to win the nxt title before he goes to the main roster yeah , everybody doesn't win it , but some of the people who went straight from the north american title , like dragon lee , like people like that , like maybe you should put like , like , or at least give them more time , you know , yeah , before they just push them up but sometimes they're that good though they're that good , they just don't .
Speaker 2Sometimes the main roster just don't use them the way , the way they need to be used . You know , sometimes they don't have a . They don't have it's because you gotta think how many wrestlers on the main roster is so many and you only got between both shows . You only got two shows . Yes , they're for right now . Smackdown is three . Then they're going back to two hours sometime this year , not sure when .
Speaker 1Yeah , I'm glad of that , because SmackDown is supposed to be like an eternity .
Speaker 2Yeah , but that's also going to take away an hour from the roster .
Speaker 2So right now you got two shows and you got six hours . You know most of that's going to be storylines of the main wrestlers . Yeah , you know the Charlottes , tiffany's . When Cody comes back , when he comes back , seth Rollins , all those guys , that's going to be Becky Lynch , that's going to be the main talking people right there , and then you have a few other people who get sprinkled in , who might have a match here or there . So it's not much room for everybody . I mean so . So there's not much room for everybody . I mean so . Yeah , there's people on the main roster who should be wrestling , but where do you put them at ? Yeah , y'all need a third show . I mean y'all need a third . I mean , you used to have Main Event . They don't have that . It don't come on anymore .
Speaker 1I don't think Main Event doesn't come on anymore .
Speaker 2I haven't seen it on . I haven't seen it . I haven't watched it in a while , but I haven't seen it . Have you seen it ?

Speaker 2I haven't seen it . I don't know if it comes on or not . I haven't looked for it , but I don't think it comes on anymore , not that I know of . Anyways , main event was for , like , the people who just don't get on the shows , for the NXT guys who now are on NXT yeah . So a lot of people are going to evolve who are on that show . So I get that . So WWE needs kind of another show kind of like that , where you can kind of have guys kind of like a main event .

Speaker 2You know they used to have like a Sunday Night Heat which was like that it should have just kept me an event , in my opinion . Yeah , but like WWE had a show called Sunday Night Heat back in the day .

Speaker 2And that was kind of like a main event , but it came on regular TV . Yeah Well , not regular TV . It came on USA , but that was a show that came on and it had some wrestlers who wasn't known in the main , who wasn't known raw SmackDown . It won't even SmackDown really , yet SmackDown was just getting started . So but yeah , but yeah . So Tony D is probably going to go to the main roster eventually , so I'm going to have , I'm going to go with Stax on this one Winning this . Not sure how it's going to go . I mean , what kind of match it's going to be ? I mean , I would .
Speaker 2I would have thought it would be some kind of stipulation match yeah , it should but I haven't seen anything like this , like it's a regular match the way it seems . I mean , unless they change it , it looks like it's just a regular straight up match where they should have had some kind of stipulate crowbar match or you know something there's no stipulation on this match .
Speaker 1There's , like's always , a ladder match .
Speaker 2That's what I'm saying . It should have been like a crowbar match or a trump match or something like that , where it should have been some kind of stipulation with this matchup because it's so much of a personal feud . So I guess you're going to get just a regular wrestling match and just see where it goes from there .
Speaker 1So yeah , but for the next match on the card , it's Sawaruka versus Kehlani Jordan for the NXT North American Championship
Sol Ruca vs Kelani Jordan
Speaker 1Women's . For this one I'm sure Sawaruka wins because she won the title pretty recently Not really recently , but pretty recently for pay-per-views the last pay-per-view . So I don't see someone just stripping the belt right off of her right after she won it at the last pay-per-view .
Speaker 2Yeah , so you're going for Sol Rooker .
Speaker 1Yeah .
Speaker 2Yeah . Yeah , I'm going for Sol Rooker too . I mean , she's one of my favorites in NXT right now , anyways . I like Kalani Jordan too , but Sol Rooker's one of my favorites right now , anyways , but it looks like . Correct me if I'm wrong . If you think the same way .
Speaker 1It looks like they're kind of setting up a few and Azaria Soruka .
Speaker 2Yeah , because I'm sure Azaria's not going to want to take the backseat to Soruka . For too long she's been trying . She's been blocking her from defending her belt . Looks like she's been fighting all the challengers , hoping that , okay , I'm beating all these people , I'm going to get me a title shot . Since I'm beating all the challengers , I'm going to ask for a title shot , since I'm beating all the challengers , so I'm going to ask for a title shot . But now Kalani Jordan beat her because Soruka got involved technically and that cost Zarya . So I wonder if Zarya is going to not interfere in the match but going to want to like after the match is over with . That was never intended to right .

Speaker 2Yeah , but if she lost she didn't , okay . So that was the stipulation . But what's do you know ? The next NXT Prim Light event ? Ooh no , I know World's Collider is another one , but that's not really NXT yeah , it's not really but after that is it the one around SummerSlam Heatwave maybe , I don't know they should do one around SummerSlam like Summer Bash or something that one paper is .

Speaker 2I'm not sure what they're going to do , but whatever the next premium Live event is for NXT Sol Ruka , I would think that Sol Ruka and Zarya would fight at that for the North American Championship .

Speaker 2Just because that's a good rivalry , that's kind of slow building .
Speaker 1Yeah . You know , and they could probably put on a really good match too .
Speaker 2Exactly so . I mean it would be . I mean , yeah , zara's a good . She's a good wrestler . I mean a lot of people don't know about her because she spent a lot of time in Australia before she came over to America . Yeah , so when she watched a lot of independent wrestling on like YouTube and stuff like that , you didn't really see much of her . Yeah , so a lot of people don't know much , like they did Julia and Stephanie and Jordan Grace they all came over together , but she was like the fourth one that people really didn't know much about unless you were really into the independent scene of wrestling . So , yeah , I got Sol Ruka winning against Klein Jordan . It should be a pretty good match . Both of them are pretty good wrestlers .
Speaker 2You know Both of them got pretty good trainers helping them as far as that goes .
Speaker 1Yeah , that's right . Are you going to sleep with them ?

Speaker 1. And for this one , if you'd asked me a couple of days ago , I probably would have walked in Joe Hendry , no thought . But I honestly see Tripp Williams winning .
Speaker 2I don't know , but the problem with that is . So here's my thing . I'm going to let you finish , though . Here's my thing with that . This is the first time ever that TNA championship , or men's championship , jordan Grayson did she defend her belt .
Speaker 1She did against Roxanne ? Wait , no , did Roxanne . Yeah , roxanne Perez defended her belt against Jordan Grayson .
Speaker 2But Jordan Grayson defended her belt though .
Speaker 1No , because Roxanne Perez won that match .
Speaker 2That's what I'm saying . So this is the first time a non-WWE belt that I can remember is being defended on NXT or WWE TV in general .
Speaker 1Because they always defend NXT titles .
Speaker 2Exactly so . Trick Williams winning the TNA championship gives the TNA belt , which is still a separate company . Tna isn't part of WWE , they're still their own company .
Speaker 1They just put rumors to WWE , yeah , but they haven't though what I'm saying is right now TNA is still a separate company .
Speaker 2It's not like AAA or WWE bought AAA wrestling . They own AAA wrestling . Those wrestlers can come to WWE and vice versa . Were Triple A were going to be bought , triple A wrestling like they own Triple A wrestling , so those wrestlers can come to the WWE and vice versa . But here's the thing like , if Trick Williams was to win , would TNA like having a non-TNA wrestler as their world champion ? I mean , it brings a lot of eyes and all that , but is that fair to a TNA men's locker room ? See what I'm saying . Yeah , I don't know . Let me go ahead . I'm going to still think about that and let you finish your answer real quick .

Speaker 2Yeah , she rescued before she came to WWE . Oh , because she lost the belt because she was coming to WWE so she had to lose all the belts . So she lost . She had a bunch of belts .

Speaker 2She had like four belts Three or four belts , yeah and she lost all of them , but anyway . So I can't remember a time like that happening . So this would be history as far as I can remember . I mean , I look up and see if it happened any in the past , but I can't remember a time where a nun a nun wrestler from another company won a belt in another company , like that .

They're not really contracted wrestlers so you can't really say they work for that company . A lot of times they come in when they need them and you know but yeah , but uh , but yeah , so I'm not sure . So you got trick , you got trick Williams .

Sure , be nice little surprise , nice little change of pace for everybody in wrestling . It'll let everybody know that anybody can win a belt .
Speaker 2It doesn't matter if you sign or not , but that'll hold Trick back from going to the main roster though as well . Yeah , he'll win a world championship , but main roster spot . I know people have been talking about him going to the main roster for months now , after he lost the NNT championship the first time , or last time , rather , he'd be able been talking about him going to the main roster for months now , after he lost the NNT Championship the first time , or last time , rather , he'd be able to talk about him going to the main roster , especially because he hadn't won it recently .

Maybe some tna wrestlers may come out to hit make sure trick williams don't win , because they understand that if trick williams wins , they mean , he may not be on tna wrestler . He don't have to be on tna wrestling unless he has to be . So maybe some tna wrestlers come out to save joe hendry , because they don't want him to lose . They may not like him , but they Hendry , because they don't want him to lose .

Speaker 1going to say . Yeah , that's it All right , for the next match on the card is Stephanie Valcaire versus Jordan Grace for the NXT Women's Championship . So using the same logic Wait , never mind , jordan Grace is NXT .
Speaker 2She's NXT now four times . She's not in 10A anymore .
Speaker 1Shoot . I can't use that logic anymore . So I might actually say Dre and Grace , but just to have a better chance at being right , I'm going to say Stephanie Valcarra-Taylor .
Speaker 2You're going going . Stephanie , Yep man , this is a tough one because I like both of them . I mean Stephanie's probably my favorite too , Uh-huh . I mean she's probably my favorite NXT right now , and then probably Stephanie , then Soul Ruka , then Jada Parker is probably my top three .
Speaker 1Yeah , Jada Parker is probably my favorite person from NXT .
Speaker 2Yeah , like she's came a long way since she first started . But Stephanie Vicaria , I watched her . I watched a few AAA , AAA wrestling events when she was in and I've been liking her since then . And then she came to AEW and then she was there for a little while , and then she was there for a little while and now she's in NXT right now . Yeah , so I'm a fan . I've been a fan for a while . But this is a tough match because it's Jordan Grace the Juggernaut . She is not a slouch one bit .

Speaker 2So the problem is can Stephanie stop Jordan Grace from doing her moves on her ? Because if she can't , she can't beat Jordan Grace .
Speaker 1You don't think so .
Speaker 2No , she can't stop her from doing her moves . If Jordan Grace gets her moves in , it's a wrap . There's not many women in wrestling period who can beat Jordan Grace if she gets all her moves in . You see what I'm saying ? So you have to stop her from getting all her moves in . So Steph is going to slow her down , Kind of like you would a bigger . Kind of like you would . Kind of like you would if you were a fake . Oh , excuse me . Kind of how you would if you're a fake . Oh , excuse me . Kind of kind of how you would if you're facing a bigger wrestler and um in wwe . You know you don't want them to get their hands on you . You want to slow them down . You know you slow their momentum down and then you make it beat them yeah you know , kind of like a raven zero beat the big show .
Speaker 2you know , like when you fight brock lesnar , when you fight different big guys , you know you don't , you don't want them to grab you , you want to kind of stay away from them yeah . You know you don't want them to get all their moves in . If they get all their moves in , you're done . You're going to lose .

Speaker 2Like when Brock Lesnar's wrestling , or you know , big E or Mark Henry Big Show Paul White , whatever you want to call him . You know Biggie , or Mark Henry Big Show Paul White , whatever you want to call them . Jordan Grace , she's not a big wrestler , but she's a strong wrestler and she falls in that kind of category . She's probably one of the strongest women . I mean , she power lives , she did bodybuilding , so that's why she's called a juggernaut for a reason . I mean she can get that nickname for no reason , you know . I mean she's not that , she didn't get the nickname for no reason , you know . Mm-hmm , I mean . So If Stephanie can keep her from getting her moves in , she's going to win . So , and Stephanie being a veteran too , I think here's the thing this is a tough one , because Jordan Grace could easily win this match .
Speaker 1Yeah , definitely .
Speaker 2But she's already lost . Who do you go ? With Stephanie see , that's the problem . I don't want to . I don't want to pick against Stephanie because she's my favorite wrestler , right now .
Speaker 2I don't want to pick against her , but I just I just got a feeling Jordan Grace may win this . Now you know I'm going to stick with my wrestler . I'm going to go with Stephanie , for care , because she's a veteran . She's going to pull some moves out . She's a luchadora , she's a high flyer . Usually high flyers can do good against bigger wrestlers . Keep them off their feet , yep , you know , keep them grounded .
Speaker 1So I'm going to go with Stephanie Fiqueira for the win , to retain her belt . That's what you're going to say for that yeah .
Speaker 2But , I wonder , I wonder , I wonder . Here's the thing , though real quick off topic , not off topic , but Worlds Collide is next month , right ?
Speaker 1It's two weeks . Two weeks from now , right , it's when Money in the Bank is right . Yeah , it's June 7th , I'm pretty sure .
Speaker 2June 7th , that's two weeks from now . Mm-hmm Jones said that's two weeks from now . I wonder if they're going to start incorporating AAA wrestlers , because this would be the perfect event to do it in .
Speaker 1Yeah , wait this one , or Worlds Collide this one .
Speaker 2No , no , no , I'm saying this would be the perfect time to start the feud , for Worlds Collide .
Speaker 1So you think someone comes out ?
Speaker 2This is where I think somebody might come out , and maybe not interfering in the match , but the post-match .
Speaker 1Yeah , there has been a lot of post-match .
Speaker 2Because you got to think too . Stephen McHarris used to wrestle in AAA .

Speaker 2So she has a lot of enemies in AAA wrestling and she used to wrestle and she beat For belts , so I , so I'm sure they want their get back on her , and now she's a world champion or NXT champion . What better thing to do now than to beat her and wrestle her for a bill ? And Stephanie Kerr she's going to be part of Wars Collide . I mean , everybody that was behind Triple H is going to be part of Wars Collide , outside of , maybe , rey Mysterio , because he's hurt , yeah , which sucks , because he's probably the most famous luchador in the entire world in history , probably .
