Speaker 1:

Welcome to the Benny Bash Podcast Tag Team Talk. I'm Ben. I'm Bash. It's time to lace up your boots and hit them out with the Benny Bash Podcast Tag Team Talk.

Speaker 2:

All right, here we are for another one. We are going to be doing Saturday night's main event. It's only four matches, I think. Yeah, unless they add a fifth one Just came from SmackDown, so they add a fifth one Just came from SmackDown, so they didn't add one in. So I don't know if they're going to add one tomorrow before the show or what, but let's get to it.

Speaker 1:

All right For the first match on the card. It's LA Knight versus Seth Rollins in a normal one-on-one match. So for this one, I mean like LA Knight has been getting the upper hand on Seth Rollins for like a couple weeks straight and Seth Rollins has backup too, though.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So I mean I feel like Seth Rollins has the advantage, but then that makes you want to go with LA Knights. So I'm going to say LA Knights going.

Speaker 2:

Yeah With LA Knight. So I'm going to say LA Knight's going yeah. I mean, after seeing what happened on SmackDown and them attacking LA Knight at the end, I don't see LA Knight beating Seth Rollins.

Speaker 1:

You don't.

Speaker 2:

No, I mean he's injured. I mean you don't see Braun Breaker speared him. Yeah, why do all? The people have to have rib injuries to lose. I mean because the tsunami does have to have rib injuries to lose. I mean because the tsunami, that's what tsunami does?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but like everybody, always has a rib injury before they go into a match like this.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but that's what tsunamis do. Tsunamis mess your ribs up. He's laying around your stomach.

Speaker 1:

Like the spear and tsunami combo is lethal.

Speaker 2:

Exactly so. Your ribs are going to be messed up when you have that combination right there back to back. And then, luckily, he only did one tsunami.

Speaker 1:

He didn't do more than one so you think Seth Rollins is going to win?

Speaker 2:

I think Seth Rollins is going to win, because who's going to help Elliot Knight out? I mean, you got Penta, and who's the other one that helped CM? Punk Sami Zayn, sami Zayn but Sami Zayn's hurt, because Karen Carl attacked him on Monday.

Speaker 1:

Uh, uh, so you got. Penta and CM Punk maybe not CM Punk, he's not gonna come not gonna help, he not gonna.

Speaker 2:

You don't think he's gonna help. La Knight beat Seth Rollins nope so, but yes, I mean he has no help. La Knight has no help right now, so it's a 3 on 1 or 3 on 2 if Penta comes out, but yeah, it's a three-on-one or a three-on-two if Penta comes out, but yeah. So that's why I got Seth Rollins winning that, because just the number advantage alone.

Speaker 1:

Oh, Jey Uso.

Speaker 2:

He could. He could come out and help, but he has no reason to come out and help.

Speaker 1:

He got beat up by Bronson Reed.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I guess, I guess so.

Speaker 1:

And he isn't a few, as Seth Rollins would do.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he could. I mean he could. It would give him a reason to be there, but who knows, he might not even be there, you know so.

Speaker 1:

But yeah, that's why I got Seth Rollins winning that one yeah. I have LA Nate.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And for the next match on the card is Randy Orton versus Drew McIntyre.

Speaker 2:

And for this one I really don't know Drew McIntyre.

Speaker 1:

You think Drew McIntyre? I was going to say Drew McIntyre. Yeah, I think Drew.

Speaker 2:

McIntyre is going to win this one. I mean just based on what we saw on SmackDown. I mean, I don't know, though I feel like they're going to win. I don't know, because then you got Jelly Roll and it's going to be in Randy Orton's corner, and I'm assuming that Logan Paul's going to be in Drew's corner.

Speaker 1:

No, he's going to come out, but he's not going to be in his corner. He's not going to be in his corner. He's going to come out, though. Okay, so that's what I think.

Speaker 2:

So Jelly for Smaker in that match though.

Speaker 1:

I mean they're going to book him like he is.

Speaker 2:

That's the problem. Randy could win that match, but Drew needs it.

Speaker 1:

Because I feel like they're telling that story, that Randy Orton is going to hesitate, but I feel like he's not going to hesitate with Drew McIntyre.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, not to say that's not what Drew did to him on SmackDown. Yeah, you know stuck up behind him and claymore'd him. You know what? I don't want to pick Randy Orton but the but you have Jelly Roll there yeah unless Logan Paul's a big enough influence in that match, I don't see. Who do you get? Yeah, drew McIntyre.

Speaker 1:

I kind of want to switch my answer, though. I'm going to go ahead. You can switch yours, I'm going to stick with.

Speaker 2:

I kind of want to switch my answer, though. Go ahead, you can switch yours. I'm going to stick with Drew. If you want to switch yours with Randy, no, no no, no no, you going to stick with Drew Yep.

Speaker 1:

I'll go with Randy then, just for You're going to land.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we're going to. You can change, randy, then.

Speaker 1:

I don't want to.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, I'm going to go with Randy on that one, just because of the way he looked like on SmackDown or Jey Roll and all that. Unless Logan gets involved in the match, I'm going with Randy Orton on that one. You know Drew needs to win more.

Speaker 1:

And for the second match on the card. Third match a solo Sakuya versus Jimmy Uso for the WWE United States Championship.

Speaker 2:

So is Jacob suspended or is he hurt?

Speaker 1:

I mean, why did?

Speaker 2:

Jimmy get a title shot.

Speaker 1:

Because he's been helping out Jacob, and he should get his title shot too.

Speaker 2:

That makes sense. That makes sense. I was just trying to figure out why he got a title shot, no storyline or anything.

Speaker 1:

I mean because he was helping out Jacob. Yeah, he was helping.

Speaker 2:

But then all of a sudden, I thought it would be a tag team match before a 96 championship match. I thought it would be Jacob and Jimmy versus Solo and whoever else. That's what it sounded like?

Speaker 1:

And why is Solo wrestling if he has people they can wrestle for?

Speaker 2:

That's what I'm saying. I thought it would be Jacob and Jimmy versus oh, but they did it last week, didn't they?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, tag team match, yeah it was Solo and JC, jc, yeah.

Speaker 2:

So I guess they don't need to do it again. Back-to-back Makes sense, though, so it makes sense. And then Jimmy Pant Solo last time too, right.

Speaker 1:

And also with JC.

Speaker 2:

So Jimmy Pant Solo in that match, didn't he no? Or does Solo win it?

Speaker 1:

They didn't win.

Speaker 2:

What happened? I can't remember what happened last week.

Speaker 1:

I know they got beat up, but I don't remember, I can't remember what happened.

Speaker 2:

Anyways, so Jimmy got a title match.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Who you got in that.

Speaker 1:

I have Solo as a goalie.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm going to go Solo as well. I don't see Jimmy beating him. It should be a good match Older brother versus younger brother but Solo got too much firepower around him to lose that match.

Speaker 1:

I mean and he just won the title too All the Tongans plus JC.

Speaker 2:

I mean, well, except for Tomatongo, we don't know about him. He's not. He went on. They got new shirts, they debuted down tonight and they didn't. They didn't have tomatongo on there and jacob posted something with tomatongo yeah, on, uh, ig, did you see that? No, yeah, it was jacob and it was jacob in the ring and then it was tomatongo in the ring with him. So I guess just jacob's maybe hitting that thomas with him.

Speaker 1:

I guess I'm assuming because that's what I had thought. Remember when I told you I thought thomas was gonna split up or he's still hurt right now.

Speaker 2:

So he can't come back right now anyway. So they have to move on without him for right now, but it could make him mad or whatever when he does come back. But for right now, yeah, I got Solo winning that match pretty easy Not easy, but with the help of everybody else around him. But for the main event Saturday Night Main Event the main event, the reason, pretty much the reason why they're in Atlanta yeah, it's Goldberg versus Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship, and this is supposed to be Goldberg's retirement match we talked about this earlier on a video.

Speaker 2:

We did, but I mean, you didn't need the world title online for this match. You could have had a one-on-one match, goldberg retiring match and he could have won the match.

Speaker 1:

I feel like, hold on. I feel like, like hasn't all of his matches recently been his?

Speaker 2:

retirement match Not officially. This is officially his retirement match.

Speaker 1:

He has been for a title all recently. He hasn't just had normal matches.

Speaker 2:

That's what I'm saying so you could have had Goldberg versus Gunther because the storyline was already there from last year at Bad Butt when he was talking about his son and Goldberg being a bad wrestler and all that kind of stuff. So he could have easily had that be the storyline with no title involved and had and people and think that gobert got a chance.

Speaker 2:

but with a title online there's no way gobert beats going through yeah he's not retired with the bill, unless he's not retired unless he changed, unless he wins the bill and changes his mind and have one or two months up into summer slam, because summer slam is next month. Yeah, so he could do a. He could beat Gunther, win the belt.

Speaker 1:

And then, like, my thing is like if he loses to Gunther, he's just going to wrestle him again.

Speaker 2:

No, this is it. If he loses, he's done.

Speaker 1:

Like you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

If he wins, of course if he wins, he's going to retire. He's going to have a championship run.

Speaker 1:

Of course, if he wins he's not retiring, he's going to have a championship win.

Speaker 2:

I'm saying if he wins he's just going to face Gunther again and lose At SummerSlam More likely. That's what's going to happen. Yeah, because right now we know that Cody's wrestling John Cena because he won the King of the Ring, but nobody's wrestling Gunther or whoever wins between him and Goldberg right now.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but who do you got winning that?

Speaker 2:

match I have not there. Me too, I like, I like Goldberg. I mean I saw him when he first started in WCW. So I've been, I was a Goldberg fan, I'm still a Goldberg fan, but at a certain time, you know, you just got to wrap it up and hopefully this is this is his last match. I mean you don't want to see, as you looked up, to lose a step. You want them to leave when they still have a little bit left in the tank. You don't want them to leave when the tank's been empty.

Speaker 1:

Is it empty now?

Speaker 2:

It's close. The Undertaker match basically showed that it was pretty much empty.

Speaker 1:

He dropped Undertaker on his neck.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, almost messed him up big time and so, yeah, and then he had to break wide and all those matches.

Speaker 1:

He won a lot more matches than he should have.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but not to talk bad about him. He is a legend, hall of Famer, and all that.

Speaker 1:

Wait, he's a Hall of Famer.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, oh yeah. He's a Hall of Famer. He should be a Hall of Famer.

Speaker 1:

I didn't know that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, if he's not a Hall of Famer, I'm pretty sure he's a Hall of Famer.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I don't remember that.

Speaker 2:

But anyway, I got going through winning that. I just don't see Goldberg beating him. If he does beat him, he's not retiring, he's going to have a title run.

Speaker 1:

I don't see him not retiring. I think he's actually serious about that, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

So I got going through winning that against Goldberg.

Speaker 1:

Mm.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I mean, I guess there's not a fifth match to the card.

Speaker 2:

No, unless they change something up before the show comes on.

Speaker 1:

It's a very short pay-per-view.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, pretty simple, straight to it. I mean they are competing against AEW, so we're going to do that next. They are competing against AEW all-in. So I mean you really can't do too much because that's not really a competition, because AEW all-in is stacked from top to bottom with matches.

Speaker 1:

It's going to end way too early to compete with All In. Anyways, their main event is going to be like two hours after this ends.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but yeah. So anyway, you got anything else with this one.

Speaker 1:

Nope, that's it.

Speaker 2:

Alright, so I'm Ben, I'm.

Speaker 1:

Bash.

Speaker 2:

And this.
