Alright, here we are for another one. It's been a minute. We're gonna be doing AEW Wrestle Dream. So, yeah, it's a pretty stacked card. You know, as always, we're doing our predictions, what things can happen, all that kind of stuff. So uh, yeah, let's get to it.

SPEAKER_00:

Uh for the first match on the card is Jurassic Express versus the Young Bucks. And the winners of this match receive uh$500,000. Um so for this one, um Jurassic Express just got back together. And finally, the Young Bucks. Um, so this is their first match together, right? Um because it didn't well they did it the um trios, Matt.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. Twice since they came back.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Well they did a match with Kenny Omega, but not like in a tag team, right?

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I don't think so. Yeah. But yeah, you know, uh you want to say Kill Shot uh Lucha Source, he was with uh Krishna for a while too.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

And then uh Jungle Boy was or Jack Perry was in um Japan and all over the place for a little while too.

SPEAKER_00:

But um, yeah, so I I think Jurassic Express is gonna win this.

SPEAKER_01:

Think so?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I mean it'd be hard for me to pr to go against them, especially their first match back as a team. Um it seemed like they're the baby faces now, something like Jack Perry turned back to a baby face, things like now. Um But yeah, it'd be hard for me to go against Jurassic Express in their first big time tag team match in in a few years. Uh so yeah, I'm um you say you Jurassic Express too?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I'm gonna go with Jurassic Express as well on this one. Uh yeah, I just I just don't see uh Uchasaurus and and Joe Boy losing in this match. Um but it should be a good match, though. I mean, Youngboat's always putting a good match, whether you like him or not. Um Jurassic Express are a pretty solid tag team as well, so it should be pretty good tag team battle.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, and best where you're gonna say?

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, that's it for that one.

SPEAKER_00:

Alright, for the next match in the car is Carl Fletcher versus Mark Briscoe for the AW TMT championship.

SPEAKER_01:

That should be a pretty good one as well.

SPEAKER_00:

Um it could go either way. Um I don't know. I could see it going either way, but I don't know. I'm probably gonna pick. I would probably pick Kyle Fletcher to retain.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, there's no stipulation in this match, is it?

SPEAKER_00:

Nope, it's just for the AEW TNT turn benchment.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. I mean, they've been they've been going at it for a little while now, right? Yeah, they've been going at it for a little while now. Um I don't see Kyle Fletcher losing the belt anytime soon. I mean, he's just been a solid, he's probably he's one of the better wrestlers in wrestling right now. Uh just wrestling ability, you know. Yeah um ringability is is up there with with some of the best. Mark Briscoe's, you know, has always been a solid wrestler. He's more been tagged in most of his career. You know. But, you know, more recently after what happened to his brother, he's been uh soloing it up. And doing a pretty solid job about it, but in this match, um I'm gonna go with Cal Fletcher to retain just because I don't see anybody beating him right now. I mean, it's gonna take somebody like Kenny Omega or somebody like that to beat Cal Fletcher for that build, just the way he's been wrestling this year so far, especially the last couple years, actually.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, so you're gonna say Kyle Fletcher too?

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, Kyle Fletcher's on that one.

SPEAKER_00:

Alright. And for the next match on the car is Jamie Hater versus Tecla. So, um, for this, I've been feeling for, you know.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I mean, I mean Tecla attacked Jamie Hayter when she came back. Yeah. So, I mean, it makes sense.

SPEAKER_00:

So, um, but yeah, I think Jamie Hater just has like a lot of built-up anger, and I think she's gonna win this match because of that.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I do like Jamie Hayter, but I wanna keep going the same thing you're going with though. I do like Jamie Hayter to win it though. Um the difference is Jamie Hayter have any any allies? Coach you know, Tekla has uh Julia, Julia Hart and uh Sky Blue. So does does um Jamie Hayter have anybody like that?

SPEAKER_00:

I don't think so.

SPEAKER_01:

That's what I'm saying. That's gonna kind of be a hard it's hard to beat three on one, even for somebody like Jamie Hayter. I mean, as much as I want Jamie Hayer to win, I think that Techla's gonna uh gonna pull it out. I think she's gonna pull it out and uh I don't know if we call it the upset or not, technically, but I mean AEW, I guess it's an upset, but both of them are well respected and and and outside of AEW as well. So I wouldn't really call it the upset upset, but as far as AEW and what people see on TV, it's an upset. So I'm going with uh Tecla Tecla to uh to went.

SPEAKER_00:

But yeah, for the fourth master on the card is the Hurt Syndicate versus the demand, which is Ricochet and GOA. Um, and it's a tornado trials match.

SPEAKER_01:

Don't speak to me of those.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Um, so really swan um GOA beat um the Hurt Syndicate on Dynamite this week. So that's they have some progress in that, but they're also some street fight that the Hurt Syndicate won. So, um So I might I'm probably gonna pick the demand. I think I've gotta pick the demand to win.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, Record Shake's been doing some great work. Uh I'm still I'm still not 100% sold on on the on the map on the teaming up with him and G O A yet. I mean, still gotta get some more cohesive units together.

SPEAKER_00:

You know, you don't like them together?

SPEAKER_01:

No, I just ain't like them. I'm saying I'm still not sold on it. They still need to need to get some chemistry, more chemistry together. Yeah. You know, I mean they got the kind of got thrown together because of the Hurt Syndicate. You know, Ricochet uh tried joining Hurt Syndicate and kicked them out. Not kicked them out, but you know, basically being Mup and Big Boydum, you know, boydom, basically. Um But yeah, with that being said, I do like what Ricochet M are doing, though, but I think the Hurt Syndicate is gonna pull this one off. Because it's hard to it's hard to be against Bobby Lashley.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

It's hard to bet against Bobby Lashley in any kind of match. I mean, if he's in the match, his team has a chance to win. You know. So yeah, I'm gonna go with the hurt syndicate in this one. This should be a normal Ricochet's gonna do something crazy, jumping off something onto him. Uh so yeah, I'm looking for it. It should be an entertaining match, though.

SPEAKER_00:

And this is no rules, right? Because tornado.

SPEAKER_01:

I think it's tornado, yeah. Yeah. Shouldn't be here.

SPEAKER_00:

So, um, yeah, that's what you're gonna say here, pick the Hurt Syndicate. Yeah. All right. Uh and for the next match on the card is Chris That's Chris Statland versus Tony Storm for the AW Women's World Championship. And for this one, Chris Statlander just won it in a trip uh no uh fiddle four-way match. And Tony Storm's trying to get her a rematch.

SPEAKER_01:

So their few, their their little few been going up and too, has been pretty interesting too. They're back and forth they've been having. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

So, um, but yeah, Chris Statler, Chris Statlander just won it, and Tony Storm had a really long reign, so I don't see her getting the championship again for a long time. So I'm gonna say Chris Statlander.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, um do you think Chris Statlander joins Mox now?

SPEAKER_00:

No.

SPEAKER_01:

You don't think so?

SPEAKER_00:

No. She might, but not. It doesn't matter anyway, because she's still gonna be this match. But I don't know.

SPEAKER_01:

She's been both of them have been baby faces. Somebody has to be a heel eventually. You know, you know what I mean? Like, usually baby faces don't really fight baby faces for world titles on average.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

So I wonder if who I wonder if one of them's gonna turn heel in the match or after the match.

SPEAKER_00:

I want you turn a heel in the match though.

SPEAKER_01:

Do something to cheat to win.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

I mean it's easy. Just cheat to win, and there you go. Um I guess I do want Tony Storm to win, because like I said, she she probably has the best character in wrestling right now. You know. Between her and Naomi, they're probably the two best characters in in re in all of wrestling, men or women. You know. Um since Naomi's out right now, uh Tony Storm's there's nobody close right now. I only know as close as far as character-wise. You know anybody as close?

SPEAKER_00:

Uh character-wise, um, maybe Bailey, but that's not really.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, it's still that's still brewing, though. That's still that's still new. So we'll see how that goes with with the whole Lyra thing and and all that kind of stuff. We'll see if it leads to um a match at SummerSlam or well not SummerSlam, um Sorara series or something like that. Um But yeah, that could be a good one too, depending on how they how depending on how Bailey does it, you know?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Um, but yeah, so as much as I want Tony Storm to win, I just don't see Chris Statler losing her dealt this fast. Um but I do have Chris Statler winning it in a close, in a close match.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I have Chris Statler winning too. So um, that's what you're gonna say for that. Yeah. All right, for the next match on the card, it's Bro Dito versus the Don Kallas family. And I think it's Okada and Takechna, too.

SPEAKER_01:

So Yeah, I'm not sure. That's what that's what I'm I mean, it can be any about any two of them though.

SPEAKER_00:

Um this is for the titles too, right?

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

So um, but yeah, it's only two members of the Don Kallis family. But um, yeah, so on when did Rodito win it?

SPEAKER_01:

Uh a few months ago.

SPEAKER_00:

Mm-hmm. So a few months ago. Um, if it was a little farther down the line, I might say Don Kallis family. I don't know though. But I don't I don't see that happening, so I'm gonna say Brody do.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. Um if it's Okada and Takeshka, I don't see them get along. I mean, we saw what Okada did when Takeshka was talking, turning TV up, and like he hit the wrong button. They've been kind of throwing little little small shots at each other for weeks now. Um if it's them two, they're gonna lose because they're not gonna be able to get along. Even though nobody should beat them in a tag team match. I mean, they're two, they're two of the best wrestlers in the world. I mean, um Takeshka just won the IWGP title uh what earlier this week. So there's nobody who should beat him and Okada in a tag team match. But if they can't get on the right page, they can easily get beat, which is why I'm gonna pick against him and pick Bernito for the simple fact that I just don't think the Okada and the Keska are gonna be able to get along in this match. They're gonna do some some tags that they're not supposed to, you know how those, you know how those things go. That's how I say happen. Um I think Brodito's gonna use that to their advantage and uh pull off the I just want to call it the upset, but the win.

SPEAKER_00:

So I'm gonna say Bernito too. And um for the next match on the card is Adam Page for Samoa Joe for the um uh AW World Championship. So for this one, um probably like Adam Page has had a really good reign.

SPEAKER_01:

And Samo Joe wants his title back.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. And I'm pretty sure Samoa Joe is gonna retire pretty soon.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, he said he's he said um this is his he signed his last contract. So when his contract runs out, he's retiring. I'm not sure how much time is on that contract, if it's a year, two years, three, I'm not sure. I mean years, but just like AJ Styles, both of them, when their contract runs out, they retire. So I don't know. AJ Styles said next year's probably his last year. So more Joe, I'm not sure if it's next year, year after, but whatever his contract is, he said when the contract runs out, basically he's retiring after his contract runs out. He's not renewing the contract.

SPEAKER_00:

So they could give him the title just because of that, but I don't see yet. So I'm gonna go with Hangman Page to retain.

SPEAKER_01:

Um I agree with you until you picked Adam Page on everything you said. Like I said, he's gonna retire soon. He's gonna have I think he's gonna get that one last one last run, I think. Um he may get another one right before he retires, kind of like the John Tena thing. But I do think Samoa Joe is gonna is gonna uh become the new AW world champion. Um it's just the way, the way the the way the weeks have been looking, they look it looks more like Joe is gonna win it. Looks like Joe's got in Adam Page's head, you know, a little bit. Not too much, but it's hard to get in Adam Page's head because of the kind of match he's had already. But it looks like Samoa Joe's got to him just a little bit, you know? And um, and so with that and Samoa Joe's the veteran. It's hard to beat Samo Joe in the world title match. So with that being said, I'm gonna pick some more Joe to become the new AEW world champion.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. So um, and that's where he goes to for that? Yep. And the main event is Darby Allen versus John Moxie and an IQ match.

SPEAKER_01:

Which Yeah. I don't know if it's gonna be the main event, but it probably should. Because that ring is not gonna be able to be wrestled on when they get done with it. It's gonna it's gonna be rare because they're gonna be bleeding all over the place. So, I mean, that should be the that should be the main event because who wants to go out to that?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

So, but yeah, go ahead.

SPEAKER_00:

So I already know exactly what you're gonna say. I'm gonna pick Darby Allen, but I already know exactly what you're saying. And they're gonna say What am I gonna say? Darby Allen, he has some help, but he doesn't have as much help as John Moxley. But I don't see Darby Allen ever like losing in this type of match. An I quit match. I don't see Darby Allen saying I quit.

SPEAKER_01:

True.

SPEAKER_00:

Especially to John Moxley.

SPEAKER_01:

True. But you weren't you weren't born yet when the FMS, uh, was it The Rock and Mankind match?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Mankind never would say I quit either, but somehow he said it. Uh-huh. It wasn't his voice. It was something he had said on a previous either SmackDown or Raw. When he said you wouldn't, you never gonna make me say it.

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

And then he said it, and then they just used that recording in the match. That's how the Rocky ended up winning.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

So like there's ways around it.

SPEAKER_00:

Wait, did people know about that?

SPEAKER_01:

Or like after the next show, like the the Raw. Yeah, the on the Raw, they found out about it. Man, because McFoley or Mankind came out and was talking about it. It was like it sounded like what he said on. It was either it was either Sunday Night Heat or something. It was one of them shows. It was either SmackDown, Brawl, or Sunday Night Heat.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

It was one of those shows that um that he had said on, said I quit, I quit, I quit. And then they used that exact recording at the pay-per-view to make because you know mankind ever gonna say I quit.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

This man got thrown, this man got thrown through the top of a hell in a cell match and kept on going.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, come on now. Twice. He got thrown off top of it, climbed back to the top, got thrown through it. I mean, and still tried to wrestle. So I mean, he's not he's not gonna say I quit. I mean, this man came over, this man was in Japan when Japan was having when they were having the death matches, like the hard, the really hardcore stuff, you know, where he lost the ear at and all that. So it's like just like Darby. It's hard, it's gonna be hard to get Darby to say I quit. But it can happen.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

And that's why I'm gonna go with John Mozilla. I'm curious to see how they're gonna make Darby say I quit. I wonder if they're gonna do something that had that like that forces him to say I quit. You remember? Um Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Well the hold on. The only way that so I'm I'm picking Darby Allen. Yeah. But the only way, the on the only way, by the way, the Darby Allen says I quit. If they have uh Daniel Bryant and some type of, but they're gonna really mess him up.

SPEAKER_01:

That's what I'm saying. Look at what they did to Adam Copeland, remember?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

What was it, was he edge then?

SPEAKER_00:

Mm-hmm. That was in WWE, he had an I quit match against Finn Ballor, I think. And they had Beth Phoenix.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, their friend concerto hurt.

SPEAKER_00:

They still hit her after a match, but exactly.

SPEAKER_01:

But still, something I'm saying. So there's ways you can make somebody say I quit.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Even if they don't want to. You see what I'm saying? And I'm curious to see how they're gonna do that with Darby Allen this time around. Because people like Darby Allen don't say I quit.

SPEAKER_00:

He's gonna win, by the way.

SPEAKER_01:

No, he's not. John Martin's gonna walk. John March is gonna win. I'm curious to see how they're gonna make him say I quit. I'm curious how they're gonna do it. Like you said, like Daniel Bryan, or are they gonna bring Sting back for a one-off and show like a backstage thing where Sting's getting beat up. And then they tell him if you either quit or we're gonna end Sting for good, not just his career. You know, something like that. You know, that'll make Darby Allen quit. Something like that make them quit easily.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

So that's what I'm saying. I'm I'm looking forward to seeing what Mox can could come up with because he knows Darby's not gonna quit say I quit. He knows it. So he has to have a backup plan in case he can't seduce say I quit. You know, he has to have a backup plan. And so that backup plan is what I'm curious to see about and see what all he uh what all he's gonna he's gonna do, you know?

SPEAKER_00:

But yeah, that's what you're gonna say for that.

SPEAKER_01:

That's it.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. But like I said, I just don't see their balancing equipment no matter what the circumstances.

SPEAKER_01:

True. But there's ways around it.

SPEAKER_00:

All right.

SPEAKER_01:

Anything else for this match? Anything else for the car or match or whatever?

SPEAKER_00:

Nope.

SPEAKER_01:

Any returns, you think? Surprises or anything?

SPEAKER_00:

Maybe to help out Darby Allen, maybe. Maybe I think Sting like might come out, but I don't I don't think that's gonna be the reason why Darby Allen.

SPEAKER_01:

I don't know. I'm just I'm gonna just throwing stuff out there like say that there's ways to make people like Darby Allen say I quit without actually making them say I quit, you know?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Like he may not want to quit, but there may be another reason. Just like the um the hell and sale Roman and um was Roman and Jay. Remember?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

When he had uh Jimmy yoked up in the headlock.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

And he made Jay quit.

SPEAKER_00:

Wait, they had the I quit matching the hell in the sale.

SPEAKER_01:

Was it an I quit matching the hell in sale?

SPEAKER_00:

I'm pretty sure, but that's really weird.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm just saying, wasn't it an I quit matching the hell and sale?

SPEAKER_00:

I'm pretty sure, yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Exactly. And then he had he had Jimmy yoked up in a headlock and he was gonna choke him out until Jay remember?

SPEAKER_00:

Mm-hmm. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

And so stuff like that is what makes people quit. It's not because they want to quit, it's because they have to for other people. That's usually how people like that works. You know, how it works like that. So I'm curious to see what happens with that match. Uh yeah, I don't really see any surprises. Uh most people send they're injured, um, and they're gonna be out for a while, maybe, and maybe come back uh later, pain review or something like that. But yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Like it's another another stack card AEW. It's gonna be an uh it's gonna be a long night for everybody who watches it. But they're always good matches, though. So it's not like you you get to the end and be like, man, that was that was long. Yeah, it was long, but it was good matches. So it's kind of it's worth the the four four plus hours or whatever of a PL, you know, pay-per-view or whatever. So uh yeah, with that being said, anything you have for us?

SPEAKER_00:

Uh nope.

SPEAKER_01:
