January is Thyroid Disease Awareness Month. This episode is dedicated to teach you more about how the thyroid gland functions. The thyroid is a butterfly shaped gland located at the front of the neck. We will also discuss the common symptoms that present for these disease states, what could be some potential root causes of thyroid imbalance and what are some proactive steps for you to take when it comes to your thyroid health.
