Meet Marianne Nagl, an amazing 32-year old wife and mother of three, recently diagnosed with high-functioning, level 1 autism. Marianne spent most of her life being misdiagnosed: ADD, bipolar, manic depressive. She felt different. She was too honest, and couldn't lie, making relationships and even simple conversations difficult. She couldn't be imaginative, and found it normal to gender identify objects.
After twenty years and a dozen psychologists, she received her diagnosis in 2023. Hearing her incredible journey in this episode will challenge you to be kinder, more patient, and accepting of people with superpowers. You'll cheer for Marianne and other autistic adults.
Welcome to The Super Power Radio Show, where we bring you exclusive interviews with parents, caregivers and inspiring individuals making a difference in the lives of people on the Autism Spectrum and other needs.
